* IdenticalLookingAsians: Because of their Asian-like appearance, Azula and her people are constantly mistaken for Yi-Tish by the Westerosi. Azula find this very irritating and personally insulting, as it demeans her country of origin in exchange for an entirely different one, and has to remind her Westerosi audience that she is Fire Nation. On the flip side, Azula and her people had troubles distinguishing the predominately white Westerosi from each other during their first arrival in Westeros.

** Because the only members of the Fire Nation that were brought to Westeros were part of Azula's entourage, it restricts the Fire Nation ability to re-industrialize. They have no industry and very limited amount of engineers, and they have to re-develop many technologies from plumbing to tanks from scratch. In fact from the latest update they only started to add plumbing to Dragonstone and tanks are still being researched, though mitigated by the fact that they know that these technologies are possible.

* HowTheMightyHaveFallen: The Ironborn, and most especially the Greyjoys, are a shadow of their former self after suffering in a more worse defeat in the Greyjoy Rebellion: all of their ships and men were obliterated by Azula's battleships, their iron mines falling under Dragonstone's control, their pirate ships are hunted down by the Mormonts and Mallisters, scores of their best captain took the black, and what is left of the diehard Ironborn are forced to carry out their piracy in the far north.
