A collection of FanWorks based on the ''Literature/WhateleyUniverse'' web fiction series. It should be noted that the group actively encourages fan works, which should be of little surprise for a series that is itself rooted in AscendedFanFic[[note]]the series originated with a group GenderBender fiction writers collaborating on several ''WesternAnimation/XMenEvolution'' fanfics stories, who then decided that they were going far enough from canon that they should create a new 'verse to work in instead[[/note]]. Many of the current canon writers were recruited based on their fanfics, and some later stories began as fan fiction. The website maintains separate sections for fan writers, another for ''discussing'' such fan stories, and there is even an extended [[http://whateleyacademy.net/index.php/forum/the-workshop/100-the-micro-scenes-thread 'micro-scenes' thread]] (with [[http://whateleyacademy.net/index.php/forum/the-workshop/101-the-micro-scenes-discussion-thread it's own discussion thread]]) for vignettes too short or episodic for a separate thread.
