During the first fleet, Humanity fought a war with the Wraith in the Pegasus galaxy, who tried to create a race of supersoldiers called the [[http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/HordeOfAlienLocusts Reapers]] who turned around and decided they had [[http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TurnedAgainstTheirMasters other plans]].
