** What happens to the poor ''Apatosaurus'' that trips and falls, breaking its leg due to its massive weight. As if slowly starving due to said leg being broken far too severely to ever heal wasn’t bad enough, the sauropod’s pained cries attract a hungry pack of ''Allosaurus'' that descend on the ''Apatosaurus'' and begin to ravenously devour the fatally injured herbivore. ''While it’s still alive''.

Animated Dead isn't aimed at a young audience

* ''WesternAnimation/NightOfTheAnimatedDead'': Some of the deaths shown in this movie are pretty visceral. In one case, it's actually worse than in the original.
** When Johnny's head hits the gravestone in the cemetery, a lot of blood pools from the wound. He then starts bleeding from his eyes and his nose as he dies.
** When Tom is trying to help Judy get out of the burning truck, a small explosion propels some bits of shrapnel at them. One of them tears out a large chunk of Judy's neck, and the other tears the top half of Tom's head off.
** When Ben dies via [[BoomHeadshot bullet to the head]], we actually see it.

Makes one wonder how the BBFC thought the violence was "mild" in this film.

* ''WesternAnimation/GuillermoDelToro'' turns an otherwise bloodless DisneyVillainDeath into this simply by permitting the audience to see the impact, particularly as all other death in the film occurs through a GoryDiscretionShot or implication. Count Volpe, one of the film's villains, goes tumbling off a cliff two-thirds in and hits the rocks instead of the water, complete with his scream being cut off by a SickeningCrunch. The (admittedly quick) look we get of his shattered body on the rocks is not pretty.

** During the castle fight the wardrobe jumps off a second story balcony on to a guy. This is a comedy fight so you normally wouldn't think about it, that is until we cut back to see the wardrobe fighting someone else with the mangled corpse of the guy she killed on the ground... It's [[AvertedTrope averted]] if you think he was just knocked out, though.
