* In the ''WesternAnimation/Rugrats1991'' episode "Send in the Clouds", when the babies think Tommy's house is in the sky, they put Stu's car keys in the bathtub drain because they think he'll fall off if he tries to drive. At the end of the episode, Stu uses his fishing rod to retrieve his keys and they hit him in the eye, [[ScreamDiscretionShot though it cuts to the outside of the house before we can see it happen and all we hear is his scream of pain]].

When Jenny gets his eyeball irritated, he hears a street vendor advertising his eye drops... but the vendor is also selling hot sauce on the same cart. [[BlindMistake Guess which one Ivan grabs]]. And it gets worse as he also ends up grabbing [[HumiliationConga a magnefying glass and a pointy stick]], [[SelfDisposingVillain severely weakening himself further]].

** In "Down 'N' Dirty", the girls fight a giant elephant monster with multiple eyes. Buttercup finishes it by punching it in one of its eyes, causing it to burst.
** In "The Rowdyruff Boys", after the girls beat an octopus monster, it lands on top of Bubbles, who then bursts through its eye.
** In "Bubblevicious", during Bubbles' fight against the holographic monsters, she kicks one in the eye and then punches another's eye off.
** In "Criss-Cross Crisis", during the sequence of the girls fighting Mojo Jojo while the four of them keep changing into different bodies as the Professor tries to undo the mass FreakyFridayFlip that he accidentally caused, one of them turns into a fly and gets caught in Mojo's eye.
** In "Sun Scream", while the Girls are flying, a bird flies by ''and its beak pokes Buttercup in the eye.'' Ouch!
* On ''WesternAnimation/ReBoot'', [[spoiler:Matrix/Enzo gets his eye slashed out by the User during a Game]]. And this is [[WhamEpisode where the show took a darker turn]].

* On ''WesternAnimation/SuperMansion'', when Lex gets angry at Black Saturn, she makes one of his cans of energy drink explode in her hand and gets it in her eyes. This is followed by a less comedic example in the first season finale when during her battle against Rex after revealing herself as TheMole, she's blinded by a blast from his gauntlet, but her vision is back come the next episode.

** In "Bestest Friend", Zim is being stalked by his new best friend, Keef, for the whole episode, and in order to get rid of him, Zim uses mechanical claws to rip out his eyes and replace them with cybernetics. We all might mourn the show's untimely cancellation, but with stuff like that going on, it's a wonder it lasted on Nickelodeon as long as it did. It's only shown in silhouette, but that's quite sufficient.
** There was also that episode where Zim crashed his ship into a giant screen. Said crash was jarring enough to knock one of his eyes out. After which he simply picks it up and sticks it back in.
** There's also the bit in "Walk of Doom" when he looks straight at the sun and his eyes burn and bubble.
** In "GIR Goes Crazy and Stuff", a guy returns two audiobooks to the library, but after a retinal scan is told they're overdue. The librarian then cheerfully tells him that they'll have to [[DisproportionateRetribution confiscate his retinas]].
** At the beginning of "TAK: The Hideous New Girl", a kid gets hit in the eye with a wiener, denting it.
** In "Battle of the Planets", the Tallests bring up the ending of "Germs" where Zim covered himself in germ-free fast food meat. Apparently, after that episode, [[BodyHorror it fused to his flesh]] and he almost went blind when it invaded his eye sockets.

* ''WesternAnimation/TheOwlHouse'': Flapjack, Hunter's Palisman, has had his left eye gouged out, leaving a massive scar on that side of his face. How it happened is unclear, but considering the size of the scar and the fact that Flapjack is just a little bird, it can't have been pretty.

** During his first fight with some of [[SinisterMinister the Bishop's]] men, Trevor slashes one of them across the face with his whip, plucking out his eye. In a later fight, the [[AssholeVictim poor bastard]] gets hit in the ''other eye'' with an arrow when Trevor is using him as a HumanShield.
** Naturally, Trevor kills the Cyclops by stabbing it in the eye.
** In a flashback, Isaac kills his abusive master by showing his thumbs into his eye sockets.

* ''WesternAnimation/TheVentureBrothers'':

* ''WesternAnimation/{{Tigtone}}'': In one episode, Tigtone and Helpy find a city where the inhabitants need to be constantly screaming because a creature that [[AbstractEater feeds on screams]] kills them in a split-second as soon as they stop ([[WidgetSeries it's that kind of show]]). The creature is InvisibleToNormals, so in order to "see" it, Tigtone goes through MeatgrinderSurgery to replace his eyes with his ears to give him some form of echolocation.

** The [=eyePhones=] from "[[Recap/FuturamaS6E3AttackOfTheKillerApp Attack of the Killer App]]" is a golfball-sized device that has to be installed by the side of the eye of the user, as the show "helfpully" shows with Fry.

** Two of Kenny's deaths involved his eyes being removed: in "[[Recap/SouthParkS1E11StarvinMarvin Starvin' Marvin]]" one of the mutant turkeys pecks out one of his eyes, and in "[[Recap/SouthParkS2E15SpookyFish Spooky Fish]]" the killer fish eats one of his eyes after pulling him into the bowl.

When Steven rolls him on his back, [[PeekABangs his hair covers his right eye]] (even though it normally doesn't cover his face at all). It is pushed back after his revival, revealing a scar running all the way across his eye and eyelid, leaving little to the imagination in terms of what his hair was covering up.]]

* One ''WesternAnimation/TomAndJerry'' cartoon has Jerry tricking Tom into looking at ''something'' in his hands. When Tom looks, Jerry promptly punches Tom in the eye, causing him a lot of pain.
