* Setusna Tokage is another beloved side charecter from 1-B. Many fans love her provocative personality, creative use of her quirk, and very attractive looks. The fact that she is a recommened student like Shoto, Momo and Honeuyuki, but had zero time to show off her skills during her fight against Bakugo at the Joint Trainning arc also led to her fitting the category.
* Yui Kodai gained popularity since her proper introduction at the Joint Trainning arc to her stoic looks and how she seems to be a fan of ''Ultraman'' with her costume. The fact that Ochako was originally meant have her design and Qurik has also led to her being among Midoriya's most popular pairings in fan fics.

* The [[NoNameGiven unnamed]] giant fox woman whom Midoriya saved from being attacked by panicked civilians quickly earned a following for being a GentleGiant and for her furry appeal. That she would later offer her support for Midoriya staying at U.A. and give him a CooldownHug only made her more popular.

* Mei Hatsume has her share of fans due to her otaku-level love for technology and [[spoiler:throwing her fight against Iida]] [[AttentionWhore just to]] [[CrazyIsCool show off her inventions]]. Not to mention, a few fans find her quite "attractive".

That she would later offer her support for Midoriya staying at U.A. and give him a CooldownHug only made her more popular.

* Hawks' amusingly smug and arrogant personality (and his good looks, for some) made him very well received. His StraightManAndWiseGuy relationship with Endeavor only furthered this, [[spoiler:in addition to his status as a double agent, pretending working with the League of Villains in order to relay information back to the Hero Alliance.]] As a matter of fact, the fourth popularity poll, his very first one, released not too long after he was introduced, put him in ''fourth place'', losing only to the main trio of Midoriya, Bakugo and Todoroki. Like Mirko, his popularity exploded after his introduction in the anime, especially thanks to his fight with the Nomu.

* Eijiro Kirishima is extremely popular due to his [[MrFanservice good looks]], being an endearingly sweet NiceGuy, having a dorky obsession with manliness, and being a MoralityPet to Bakugo. All in all, he became one of the most popular side characters in the series. He was even given a major role in the Internship Arc, fleshing him out more and [[IHatePastMe showing his past]], which made him even more popular.

* Fumikage Tokoyami is also very popular, for having both a cool and powerful Quirk and a valiant personality that's earned him the FanNickname "Birdbro"/"[[Franchise/FinalFantasy Chocobro]]". And some circles have found his kind of dorky affinity for dark and dramatic things rather endearing. He placed 7th in both of the first Japanese and American character polls.

* Similarly, Sero is a background character through and through, but he is, nonetheless, constantly ranking in the top 20 on Japanese popularity pools, and Horikoshi has gone on to mention that he has a surprisingly large [[EstrogenBrigade female fanbase]] in Japan.

* [[CuteMonsterGirl Tsuyu Asui]] caught the fanbase's attention even before her name got revealed, due to her cute design, her cool head in battle, and her blunt personality. Her darkhorse status showed when she was given ADayInTheLimelight bonus chapter detailing her backstory, as well as a {{Filler}}/AdaptationExpansion episode in the anime dedicated to her post-Sports Festival internship. She placed 6th in the first Japanese character poll and 2nd in the American one. Furthermore, in the U.S., she was popular enough to take up giant banner space on both SDCC and NYCC's show floor spots alongside All Might and Midoriya, the main characters of the series.

* [[CuteAndPsycho Himiko Toga]] quickly became a fan favorite due to her {{Affably Evil}}, {{Yandere}} tendencies and how similar she is to ComicBook/HarleyQuinn, especially in the West where she came in ''third'' in the second U.S. popularity poll. Being vampire-themed didn't hurt either nor did revealing [[spoiler:she could shapeshift]].

It also helps that both characters' not only have a genuinely heartfelt relationship, but also that their backstories make for some of the series' biggest TearJerker moments. A good number of fans want them to turn over a new leaf as the last time they were shown hinted towards, and want them to appear as allies during the fight with the League of Villains and the Meta Liberation Army, and the fact they haven't appeared since their arc has lead to fans constantly hoping they return.

He also [[VillainRespect respects worthy opponents]] and is a GracefulLoser when defeated. He even manages to appear in an arc of ''Manga/MyHeroAcademiaVigilantes'', fighting alongside Mirko!

Mirko also draws similarities with Midoriya, both in terms of their rabbit imagery and their kick-based style of combat, which has her fans wishing that he would intern under her in the future. She received a cameo in the second ending of the anime’s fourth season, and around the time of her official animated debut in said season's penultimate episode, the manga had her in a very important role during the opening part of the Paranormal Liberation War arc, cementing her popularity. A younger Mirko was also featured in a flashback arc of the ''Manga/MyHeroAcademiaVigilantes'' spin-off. The ''My Hero Academia'' subreddit even briefly featured Mirko as their subreddit icon!
