* Gallerian Marlon, a temporary iteration of KAITO that appeared in the collaborative Aku no Taizai SEKAI. After his art was revealed he generated a lot of fanart and got the biggest reaction of all of the Virtual Singers due to his EvilIsSexy status and for showing a side of KAITO that hadn't been seen in the game up until that point.
* While they don't make a physical appearance in the game outside of music jackets, flower and GUMI have quite a few songs in the game's roster, leading fans to ask for their characters to be added to the story as guiding figures in SEKAI alongside the Crypton's, despite licensing issues making this unlikely similarly to the issue with Gumi's appearance in the Project DIVA series Gumi was only able to appear in Project MIRAI, and even then she wasn't allowed to be in the opening theme songs or get top billing alongside the Virtual Singers she appeared in songs with. She was completely absent from the mainline Project DIVA series. Several fan arts have been spawned from this idea, with some lesser-known Virtual Singers such as Gakupo and Yuzuki Yukari appearing in fan art alongside them as well.

* Several side characters appear in the respective playable group's unit story Barring 25-ji, who didn't have any [=NPCs=] that were of the group's age until the second Ena-centric event, 'On This Blank Canvas, I Paint', with the introduction of Futaba Natsuno had gained much attention from fans and grew popular, in part due to their design and personality. Shining examples include Iori from Leo/Need's event stories, Sakurako Seiryuuin from Wonderlands x Showtime-focused events, and Arata who first appeared in the Vivid Bad Squad-focused event, 'STRAY BAD DOG'.
* Of the non-Miku Virtual Singers, KAITO has once again endeared himself to fans of Virtual Singers and fans of the game alone alike. It’s thanks heavily to his varying yet fun personalities across Sekai, with Vivid BAD SQUAD’s characterization of being the one who initially sparked more interest in KAITO overall. Leo/need KAITO was also especially well-received after his introduction due to his Moe qualities. WordOfGod further confirmed this, as Wat mentioned on his Twitter that KAITO merch sales have been on the rise as of late, surpassing Len's sales, likely thanks to the influx of new fans he's gotten.
* According to Wat, Luka Megurine has seen steady and strong growth thanks to the influx of new fans likely from this game as well.
* 25-ji Miku has become one of the most beloved iterations of Miku from the game for her cool and dark design and innocent, kind personality.
* While not as popular as 25-ji Miku, Vivid BAD SQUAD's iteration of Miku comes quite close in the fanbase due to her cool aura and hidden depths.
* "YUME YUME JUMP!" Kanade and "Happiness Rangers Sunny Sunny Wonder" Mafuyu are among the most popular alt versions from the April Fool's 2022 event, mainly due to the sheer ridiculousness of the two most depressed characters in the game becoming an idol singer and a musical troupe member, respectively. Mafuyu's posing in the "Positive Dance Time" music video was even subject to MemeticMutation by fan artists.
