* GeniusBonus: During his nightmare in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, Chichi tells Gohan that being able to prove or disprove the Riemann Hypothesis is more important than saving the world. The Riemann Hypothesis is one of the great unsolved problems of mathematical theory; Chichi is basically demanding that Gohan be able to win a Nobel Prize rather than defeat Cell.

* HarsherInHindsight: ''History of Trunks'' has people going around as usual, unconcerned about the danger of the Cyborgs until it affects them directly, by which time it's too late. As KaiserNeko says in the developer's commentary, it's far too believable in a post-[[UsefulNotes/COVID19Pandemic COVID]] world.

** Garlic Jr.'s plan in "Dead Zone Abridged". He attempted to kill Piccolo, and then use the Dragon Balls.[[note]]If Piccolo dies, so does Kami, and the Dragon with them.[[/note]] When this is pointed out, Garlic Jr. acknowledges that he dodged a bullet thanks to the incompetence of his minions. As do the minions themselves.

They're presumably revived by Shenron along with everyone else Cell killed.

Come "All Uub'd Up And Ready To Go", they're perfectly fine with him going off to train Uub for years, as Goku being a constant presence in their lives for a decade is "a bit much" according to Gohan.

* FreudianExcuse: Turles hates Christmas because Santa Claus never visited Planet Vegeta, and they only got Freeza's Day (when he blew up the planet). [[spoiler:It's actually revealed that Santa tried to visit the planet several times, but they always tried to blow up his sled.]]
