* Xanthe Justice from ''{{Sinfest}}'' (aka "[[FanNickname Trike Girl]]"). She hit this trope by being the in-universe catalyst for a BaseBreaker ReTool, plus an unhealthy dose of WriterOnBoard. For nearly a year, she was riding around talking about the "Sisterhood" taking down the "Patriarchy," trying to recruit female characters and talking down male characters. She became a lot less irritating once the strip's new status quo had established itself. But she still winds up slipping into MarySue territory from time to time. Like the time she gave a rather physical GetAholdOfYourselfMan to the ''hand of god''.

** There was am arc where Gary was invited into a threesome with another man and asked if the man could be replaced with Zii, who had slept with the woman. Zii berated Gary about this and stated that she would never try to force someone into a sexual situation for her own satisfaction, even though that pretty much sums up her character in a nutshell.

* Xanthe Justice, aka Trike Girl from ''{{Sinfest}}'' became one of these pretty quickly. In 2011, she shows up and begins talking about the "Sisterhood" taking down the "Patriarchy." Almost every other second of her screen time is just her riding around trying to recruit female characters and talking down male characters. And while the Sisterhood became kind of an annoying PlotTumor, it's all compounded by the fact that none of it seems to actually be going anywhere. The organization's entire contribution to the plot was making Monique come off as paranoid, references to ''Film/TheMatrix'' bordering on OverlyLongGag, and Fuschia's HeelFaceTurn, which, while interesting, could have gone better. Trike Girl herself has received almost no CharacterDevelopment, meaning that even now, she's less of a character and more of a plot device.

* Makoto Yosue of ''WebComic/RedString'' morphed into this over time. The author originally admitted she put him in to act as an obstacle and antagonist to the original OfficialCouple, but later interviews included statements such as him being her favorite character and getting very defensive on some occasions when he received criticism. He started getting a ridiculous amount of CharacterFocus for a supporting cast member (which on the official web site, he still listed under this category) and time spent on his supposedly horrible life (consisting of simply being sad a girl dumped him once) while other plots more important to the overall flow were getting ignored. As the story went on, it became more and more apparent that the author refused to ever let him suffer anything truly harrowing and eventually the OfficialCouple suddenly broke up just as Makoto ended his own (neglected) relationship. While the story originally was clearly planning to bring them back together again and burned a lot of time on their character development and their continually being connected to each other by a red string, Makoto started getting more and more screentime until suddenly he turned into a perfect KarmaHoudini bordering on GaryStu. By the end of the story, he actually gets the girl he really wanted with no effort on his part aside from her realizing he is in fact perfection incarnate, is set up as the heir of her family's restaurant despite repeatedly cheating on the girl he was supposed to marry, ''everyone'' in the story constantly talks about what a wonderful person he is and how Miharu will eventually realize that too, gets absolutely no consequences for a jealousy fit in which he grabs Miharu away from her ex-boyfriend and yells at her in public (she ''apologizes to him'' and the story treats this as a good thing), convinces Miharu that ignoring her family's worry about their relationship is superior to their actual financial well-being, finally gives away the restaurant by simply calling his parents off panel and having them handwave the problem, and basically is able to make "dating Miharu" his new full time profession because he's able to just sponge off his family's wealth and travel the world with her. [[spoiler: Makoto finishes this epic by having Miharu declare that apparently red strings, the very red strings the comic was named for, simply exist to tie everyone in the world together and she's going to follow her string to him. Thus completely nullifying the entire point of the ten year comic simply so Makoto gets a happy ending. Keep in mind that Makoto also accomplishes all of the above in the grand total of ''four months'' and we are supposed to believe that their relationship, which only consisted of them making the occasional innuendo, sexting, and obsessing over each other's butts, is a relationship that will stand the test of time while Miharu's year and a half long marriage engagement which consisted of numerous events the couple lived through together, is simply "her first love."]] Oh, and top of that, the final major scene of Kazuo, the former main character pushed aside in favor glorifying Makoto? Suffered from constant Character Derailment to make him into a creepy ex, had a massive out of character moment where he forced himself on Miharu, and all this done after the story had spent a lot of time showing him becoming a better and stronger person. Because actually having him complete the circle by winning Miharu back would have deprived Makoto of his victory. Oh, and his last big scene is Makoto sneaking off to claim Miharu as his territory, insult Kazuo for his abusive home and suicide attempt, and then the story instead portrays the scene as sad for ''Makoto'' because Kazuo points out all of the above problems with the character in the text and highlights that he's insecure and acts entitled.

But it's my fault if they get the wrong idea 'cause I'm the one givin' out ideas! Some people just can't enjoy a heroine with the issues that Sette has. And I absolutely get that. Funnily enough people have short memories and when Murk was introduced it's like they thought here's another morally reprehensible character that Glass fatuously expects us to adore. But no, dorks, he's just a morally reprehensible character."

Trike Girl herself has received almost no CharacterDevelopment, ,eaning that even now, she's less of a character and more of a plot device.

** Also, of course Broly would fit the bill. It isn't helped even though is surviving a powerful attack was explained.
** Vegetto himself deserves a mention. He was already the most powerful canon character in Dragon Ball Z, to a frankly stupid degree (Yeah, there's kind of a reason WHY Akira Toriyama undid that fusion in canon). Like his daughter he also receives a ridiculous ammount of focus, and many characters seem to constantly harp on just how fucking awesome Vegetto is and how they're all just SO inferior to him. The fact that the creators have given Vegetto an entire fanfic all about him and his universe certainly help make him into a CreatorsPet

* Zii from ''Webcomic/MenageA3'' is rapidly becoming a Creator's Pet. There a couple of reasons, but the big one was convincing [=DiDi=] not to pop Gary's cherry, an overarching theme of the comic. Her argument was that Gary would keep coming back to her begging for sex, though she didn't have any actual basis for that claim. Plus, like almost every interaction she has with [=DiDi=], it comes off as another one of Zii's attempts to sleep with her. Fans were not entertained.
** Worse than that, Zii only very rarely receives any punishment for anything she does, no matter how dickish or possessive. The comic often tries to present her as a wacky, LovableSexManiac without acknowledging that her "hilarious" exploits often go too far. That said, there are fans who like Zii, and discussions about her get very intense, making her a BaseBreaker. Still, the affection the comic has for her and refusal to punish her makes her a Creator's Pet to fans who don't like her.
** There was a recent arc in which Gary was invited into a threesome with another man and asked if the man could be replaced with Zii, who has slept with the woman. Later Zii then berates Gary about this and states that she would never try to force someone into a sexual situation for her own satisfaction... despite that this pretty much sums up her character in a nutshell.

Removing references to time in order to prevent seeming dated. Also, Xanth is not a straw feminist. Straw characters are made in order to mock or ridicule their stance. Xanth is presented in a positive light, whether or not she is also one dimensional.

The organization's entire contribution to the plot is making Monique come off as almost paranoid, a reference to ''Film/TheMatrix'' that was an OverlyLongGag months ago, and the final straw leading to Fuschia's HeelFaceTurn, which admittedly is one of the better moments in the comics and something many had been hoping for, but it still could have been done in a better way. Trike Girl herself has received, at the very most, almost no CharacterDevelopment, despite the fact that the some-odd year she's been around is more than enough time to give her some, meaning that even now, she's basically less of a character and more of a rolling plot device.

** Hussie even parodies it - [[AuthorAvatar Andrew Hussie is an actual character in the comic]], albeit one who very rarely interacts with any of the characters and has no plot significance, and at one point he actually proposed to Vriska, only to get punched in the face. [[SelfDeprecation He turned up in a later flash sobbing pathetically.]]

* [[DragonballMultiverse Universe 16 Son Bra]], so very much. Daughter of Vegetto, arguably the most powerful character in all of ''Dragonball'', you'd think we wouldn't even need Goku from the manga universe gushing on how powerful she is. A whole special focused on just how awesome she is didn't help. And then there's the whole [[KarmaHoudini disobeying her father's straight order not to kill her opponent and getting out of it with not even a mild admonition]].

* Zii from ''MenageA3'' is rapidly becoming a Creator's Pet.

Natter is unnecessary. Repair Dont Respond is infact very real.

** Also, of course Broly would fit the bill. Can anyone explain me how else he survived Vegetto's fists, let alone the [[spoiler: Final Dragon Flash]]!?
** Well, actually it did explain that in the comic, and in no uncertain terms.

This is blatant misrepresentation of what Hussie was trying to accomplish with her character.

* Vriska Serket from ''Webcomic/{{Homestuck}}'', a self-styled VillainSue, was made to be an intentional {{Scrappy}} and a parody of {{Mary Sue}}s by an author who loves [[PlayingWithATrope mixing up tropes]] [[TeasingCreator regardless of if it pisses his fans off]], which quickly translated into her becoming a Creator's Pet. ** Worse then that, Zii only very rarely receives any punishment for anything she does, no matter how dickish or possessive.
