Wendie Diane Malick (born December 13, 1950 in Buffalo, New York) is an American actor and former model, best known for her roles as Judith Stone on ''Series/DreamOn'', for which she won four [=CableACE=] Awards (of five nominations), and Nina Van Horn on ''Series/JustShootMe'', for which she received two UsefulNotes/{{Emmy|Award}} nominations and won a UsefulNotes/{{Golden Globe|Award}}. Her paternal grandfather was a Coptic Christian of Egyptian descent. In 1972 she graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University and began modeling for the Wilhelmina agency. Following this she worked for US Congressman Jack Kemp, then left D.C. to begin acting.
