* AwesomeDearBoy:
** She loved the idea of playing a vampire LadyOfWar in ''Rise of the Lycans'' so much that she kept her teeth in even when she wasn't filming, and kept them after they wrapped.
** She signed on to ''Series/TheLastShip'' because she was fascinated with virology and had done so much research into her own autoimmune condition (sinusitis) that it felt "very timely".
* CastTheRunnerUp: She was in consideration to play Selene in ''Underworld'' and, when the role went to Kate Beckinsale, she later got cast as Sonja in ''Rise of the Lycans'', who was previously said to remind Viktor of Selene.
* FakeScot: Only technically in ''{{Film/Doomsday}}''. Eden is Scottish-born but raised in England since she was a child, meaning Rhona doesn't have to fake an accent.
* NoStuntDouble: She did all her own stunts in ''Doomsday''.
* PlayingAgainstType:
** Normally known for her action and horror roles, she starred in the comedy ''Film/GameOverMan''.
** ''Series/TheLastShip'' technically as, although it's within genre, she's playing a scientist rather than an ActionGirl.
* RealLifeWritesThePlot: She left ''Series/TheLastShip'' because she was recovering from an autoimmune condition, and moved from Los Angeles to Uruguay to do so.
