Louis Székely (born September 12, 1967), commonly known as Louis C.K., began performing StandUpComedy in the late 1980s. His act has always taken VulgarHumor. His inspirations are Creator/GeorgeCarlin and Creator/RichardPryor, and it shows.

He created and starred in ''Series/LuckyLouie'', {{Creator/HBO}}'s first traditional three-camera SitCom, and followed up with ''Series/{{Louie}}'', an autobiographical {{Dramedy}} series on Creator/{{FX}}. He has also begun to emulate Creator/GeorgeCarlin's practice of creating a new hour-long stand-up special each year. He also co-created ''Series/BetterThings'' with Creator/PamelaAdlon, who stars on the series.

Aside from his stand-up and television work, C. K. also played supporting roles in a few films, most notably ''Film/AmericanHustle'' and ''Film/BlueJasmine''.
