* MoodWhiplash: The 2023 Direct ends with dramatic music and a tense, dark shot of Volvy's creator having to enact a MercyKill on the robotic version of his creation, then immediately cuts to peppy chiptune and neon colors to announce that official Volvy merchandise is now on sale.

** 2023's presentation was "The Return of Volvy", starting with a semi-lighthearted look at the concept of a SeriesMascot (the fictional Volvy the Vole) being rebooted into something DarkerAndEdgier, but then mocking the trend of AI-generated content and [=ChatGPT=] with his rebooted incarnation, a real-life robot named Volv-E.
