* DeadlyEuphemism: Volv-E's shared game with Ronathan involves the latter stumbling upon the former, as his original Volvy incarnation, stuck in a beartrap. When Ronathan attempts to rescue Volvy or give him medicine, Volvy declines and asks for "a different kind of help" while [[DeathSeeker happily]] [[ICannotSelfTerminate pointing towards a rock]].

* {{Irony}}: Ronathan Trodfield, Volvy's character designer, takes much less stock in the Volvy franchise than anyone does--he can barely even ''remember'' how he came up with him and lazily drew the design. Tragically, he's also the only one who really cared about the current incarnation of Volvy, and is the only one who gives Volvy what he truly wants while everyone else exploits him like the mascot and tool Volv-E is.
