** In the first issue, the Starjammers stop at the "ass end" of the Shi'ar space empire, the space station Benevolence. However, this isn't the first time readers have heard that name: during ''[[ComicBook/JonathanHickmansXMen Powers of X]]'', Benevolence was one of the last sanctuaries for mutants ninety years in the future.

Beginning with the switch in writers with issue #14, the series began to focus on the efforts of the New Mutants to provide training and guidance to the younger generations of Krakoa as they explored what it meant to be a mutant in this new age. Magik, Mirage, Wolfsbane, and Karma were joined by Warpath and Warlock in this mission, while the young generation of mutants were represented by the "Lost Club" of Gabby Kinney, Anole, Cosmar, No-Girl, and Rain Boy.

* HateSink: Joseph Canning, the self-justifying publisher of the Dox Website which reveals the addresses of mutants to anyone who views the site, outing them leading to hate crimes that left several innocent mutants seriously injured or killed including children. When confronted with the names of some of the people he’s harmed with his site, he [[NeverMyFault denies responsibility]] even though that was his intention in the first place. He then [[InsaneTrollLogic chastises them for holding hostage medicine that they created when all they wanted in exchange was to stop being persecuted.]] What’s worse is that when the team comes he tells people to get their phones out and record them [[PlayingTheVictimCard analogizing himself with victims of police brutality and the mutants as police when that couldn’t be further from the truth]]. He is so repulsive in one single scene that he pushes [[GentleGiant Glob of all people]] to [[BewareTheNiceOnes show a side of himself that he hasn’t displayed in quite some time]]. Not a sentinel, or a soldier. Just a [[DirtyCoward cowardly]] bigot hiding behind a computer and exploiting fear and hatred to get others to do his dirty work.
