* GoThroughMe: One story has Stumpy trying to sell his lawnmower to Mr. Cat. When Kaeloo sees Stumpy with a lawnmower, she assumes that he's going to mow the lawn and worries that he'll kill all the plants, so she stands in front of them and declares that Stumpy will have to run her over with the lawnmower before he dares to touch any of the plants.

''Kaeloo'' is a comic book series based on [[WesternAnimation/{{Kaeloo}} the cartoon of the same name]].

The first issue, titled '' Let's Play...'' was released in July 2018.

!!''ComicBook/{{Kaeloo}}'' contains examples of:

* AuthorPowers: One of the stories had Stumpy talking about how great the Mr. Coolskin comics are when suddenly, a giant fist crushes him. Kaeloo and Mr. Cat explain that it's the fist of the editor, who doesn't want other comic books endorsed in a comic about the ''Kaeloo'' series.
* BaitAndSwitch: The second story starts with Stumpy, Quack Quack, and Mr. Cat walking around as zombies and heading towards Kaeloo, hinting that the story is going to be about a zombie apocalypse. Instead, it turns out that [[NotAMorningPerson they]] just woke up, and they were heading towards Kaeloo because she was making breakfast for them.
* BehindTheBlack: Mr. Cat replaces himself with a cardboard cutout and nobody notices, yet from the position they were standing in they should have been able to see that it was just cardboard.
* CallBack: During the Hopscotch story, when Kaeloo suggests a game of hopscotch, Stumpy reminds her that the main four have [[Recap/KaelooS1E6LetsPlayHopscotch already played that.]]
* ContinuityNod: When the main four are sent to Hell, Mr. Cat starts singing [[Recap/KaelooS1E43LetsPlayStreetball On the Way to Hell]].
* DraggedOffToHell: Mr. Cat attempts to have this happen to Quack Quack like he did in Let’s Play Hopscotch, but ends up accidentally making it happen to all of the main four, himself included.
* DisproportionateRetribution: Quack Quack gives Mr. Cat a NoHoldsBarredBeatdown because the latter ate some of his yogurt.
* GettingCrapPastTheRadar: See the show’s [[Radar/{{Kaeloo}} Radar page]].
* GenieInABottle: The main four find a genie in a lamp who offers them wishes. Stumpy wishes to be turned into a girl and it’s suggested that Mr. Cat is going to wish for Quack Quack to be horribly injured.
* AHellOfATime: Subverted. The main four get sent to Hell and at first it actually seems fun until they realize that every fun activity they could think of has a fair bit of [[YankTheDogsChain chain yanking]] attached to it.
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: Kaeloo is running around pretending to be an airplane, Stumpy is yelling at his video game, and Quack Quack is counting his yogurts out loud. To get some peace and quiet, Mr. Cat gets them out of the way by telling Kaeloo there’s a landing strip for dragonflies nearby, informing Stumpy that his sister is searching for him and advising him to hide, and putting remote controlled wheels on the fridge and making it run away so Quack Quack will chase it. Moments later, Kaeloo is running around pretending to be a dragonfly, Stumpy is yelling at Mr. Cat for having lied to him, and Quack Quack is trying to lasso the fridge like a cowboy.
* MediumAwareness: The characters are fully aware that they’re in a comic book.
* MustHaveCaffeine: After waking up in the morning and going to the breakfast table, an exhausted Mr. Cat asks [[TeamMom Kaeloo]] for some coffee.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: Mr. Cat gets the main four DraggedOffToHell and Kaeloo develops severe depression, which horrifies him because she can’t transform anymore, and also because, well, she’s depressed.
* NoFourthWall: Much like the [[WesternAnimation/{{Kaeloo}} animated series]], Kaeloo and Mr. Cat speak to the audience.
* NotAMorningPerson: Stumpy, Quack Quack, and Mr. Cat.
* SarcasmMode: Some of the arrows that point to the characters, like the one that says “modest” while pointing to Mr. Cat while he brags to the audience about his “superior intellect and incredible talent”.
* SkewedPriorities: When there is a power outage, the fridge stops working. Quack Quack is worried that the yogurt inside might get spoiled. What does he do? He builds a machine to generate electricity, but he needs something to put in the machine that is a good conductor of electricity. What does he use as a conductor? His good friend, Stumpy. [[SarcasmMode It's perfectly fine to electrocute your friend as long as your food doesn't rot.]]
* StrippedToTheBone: Kaeloo tells Stumpy and Quack Quack to take a bath and when they disagree, she reminds them of all the dirt, dust, sweat, dead skin, microbes, etc. that could remain on their bodies if they don’t. They get freaked out and scrub themselves so vigorously that only their skeletons remain.
* YankTheDogsChain: Mr. Cat ends up accidentally getting the main four sent to Hell. At first, it seems fun; Kaeloo gets to play games all the time, Stumpy gets the full collection of Mr. Coolskin comics, Quack Quack gets an infinite supply of yogurt containers, and Mr. Cat is free to do as he pleases. Almost immediately, they find out that there's a catch to everything: the games they can play don't have rules, and as Kaeloo notes, there really is no point of playing games without rules. Stumpy's comic books disintegrate the moment he touches them. Quack Quack's yogurt containers are empty. And since Kaeloo can't have fun anymore, she's too depressed to get mad at Mr. Cat, which makes ''him'' upset too.
