God Nose is a 42-page American comic book published in 1964 by Jack "Jaxon" Jackson. Considered the first true example of UndergroundComics, the comic features God as a bearded old man with a crown, usually having discussions with his son UsefulNotes/Jesus about the world.

Jaxon did the first printing of God Nose by secretly using printers in the Texas state government in-house print shop. Three more printings were done later by Creator/RipOffPress from 1969 to 1971; the whole comic was reprinted in
"Underground Classics #6" in 1988.

----
!!This comic book contains examples of the following tropes:

* AccidentalPervert: God actually teleports into the bedroom of a couple having sex.
* CoolCrown: God wears one.
* GodIsFlawed: God is shown to have self-doubts throughout the comic.
* GrandpaGod: Played straight. God is depicted as a bearded old man with glasses and a gold crown.
* JesusWasCrazy: Jesus is depicted as a CloudCuckoolander; at one point, he decides to become a folk singer and in a later panel, he's shown performing in a club to a Beatnik audience.
* TakeThat: Mostly averted. While some evangelical Christians may take offense at God Nose, the comic is not really a rant against God or religion.
* TropeMakers: Usually considered the first of UndergroundComics
