Haga was the Champion of the Japanese National Tournament, who then was invited to Duelist Kingdom by Pegasus. He pretends to befriend Yugi and then throws his grandfather's powerful Exodia cards into the ocean, inciting Dark Yugi's rage and making him the first of Dark Yugi's targets on the island. Despite putting Yugi at a disadvantage, he loses his first match. He later turns up in the Battle City arc, as well as the anime's Doma filler arc; he loses to Jonouchi and gets a NoHoldsBarredBeatdown after toying with Yugi too much. His last major appearance (anime-only) is in the last {{TournamentArc filler arc}} and stealing the God Cards before Dark Bakura stopped them.
As his name suggests, he uses an Insect deck. His trump cards are Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth and Insect Queen (which he lost to Jounouchi via the ante rules of Battle City, but he quickly gains another one).

As his name suggests, he uses an Insect deck. His trump cards are Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth and Insect Queen (which he lost to Jounouchi via the ante rules of Battle City, but he quickly gains another one).
Added DiffLines:
* AdaptedOut: Because the second anime adaptation skips over this chapter, he never appears. Instead, the villain of the anime-only Burger World flashback was a perverted gym cheater with a camera, intended to be a CompositeCharacter of Kokurano and Prisoner Number 777
* AssholeVictim: The bad predictions he makes for his fellow students come true because he sees to it that it comes true - including burning down one of their houses. Also, he nearly killed Yugi by knocking bookshelves over him and then...
* AttemptedRape: ...tries to rape Anzu after drugging her with chloroform before Dark Yugi shows up and challenges him to a Shadow Game. It's a wonder why after committing the above crimes, including this, Dark Yugi doesn't give him a more lethal Penalty Game (he just gets knocked out by chloroform and has his phony predictions exposed)
* BelievingTheirOwnLies: His predictions are phony, but he's so loony that he actually believes he has psychic powers. This proves to be his downfall when he plays Paper Crash with Yugi. In that game, both players had to pull sheets of paper out from under a chloroform bottle, without letting it fall. Kokurano closed his eyes and tried to use his powers to "levitate" the bottle, but wound up knocking off the bottle of chloroform and faints.
* DubNameChange: He's renamed to Fortuno in English version of the Dungeon Dice Monsters video game.
