* AmbiguouslyGay / AmbiguouslyBi: Because of their AmbiguousGender and the fact that they are attracted to the male Flame Demon. See the Flame Demon's entry above.

* PsychoticSmirk: An early version of the mod had him with a constant, serene smile on his face, which turned into this whenever he was in the middle of murdering. This was taken out in a later update.

* FauxAffablyEvil: [[spoiler:When she's around her senpai, she's an {{Adorkable}} GenkiGirl who fawns over him and giggles constantly. And it's not ''entirely'' an act, but, aside from her husband and daughter, she couldn't care less about any one around her, because, when it all comes down to it, she's a creepy SerialKiller {{Yandere}} and a potential [[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil rapist]].]]

* MasterOfDisguise: An option in the Mission Mode menu gives her the ability to assume the identity of another female student. If she does this, she'll blend into the crowd so perfectly that Ayano won't see her coming unless she's on-guard. Oh, and ''which'' girl's identity she assumes is random. If you take a photo of her in-disguise, though, Info-chan will notice that something's off.

* PetTheDog: [[WordOfGod YandereDev]] states [[https://www.reddit.com/r/yandere_simulator/comments/5kfv4g/what_happens_to_the_original_student_when_nemesis/ here]] that in the modes where Nemesis disguises herself as a student, he assumes that she simply knocked the student out to take their place, as he does not think she would kill them.

* AbductionIsLove: The Basement Tape reveals a number of important details – [[spoiler:namely that she kidnapped her sempai and kept him locked up until StockholmSyndrome kicked in, and that her mother had done the same thing to her husband.]]

A potential male version of Yandere-chan. He isn't in the game, but if he was, he would have two possible personalities – the first would be a basic gender-bend of Yan-chan, with him having been emotionless until he met Senpai and felt emotions for the first time; the second would have him as a sadist who needs an obsession to feel complete. This Yan-kun would be very possessive of Senpai and would try to kill his rivals because to him, it's a fun game of death.

* MeaningfulName: In addition to "Aishi" already being explained under Yan-chan's entry, a "ryōba" is [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_saw a type of handsaw]].

* InSeriesNickname: Ryoba always calls him, "darling".

* RapeAsBackstory: Somewhat implied thus far. [[spoiler:The first Basement Tape has him kidnapped by Ryoba, who keeps him captive until he "loves" her. In the present, he is still with her, but clearly abhors and is frightened of her despite them conceiving a child together. Worth mentioning is that even if he consented to any advances, it could still fall under QuestionableConsent due to the circumstances of Ryoba being a {{Yandere}} who probably wouldn't take "no" for an answer.]] WordOfGod says the issue will be tackled fully in future Basement Tapes.

* SignificantDoubleCasting: Shares a voice actor with a male Senpai. See Senpai's SignificantDoubleCasting entry for ''why'' it's significant.

* WhyCouldntYouBeDifferent: For him, it's actually justified. [[spoiler:He's frightened that Yandere-chan will continue the family tradition, and would be happy if it turned out she was a "normal girl".]] That said, he still loves her and cares for her.

* EvilerThanThou: This piece of filth has ''nothing'' on Yandere-chan.

* YouMonster: He says this verbatim when Yandere-chan [[spoiler:threatens to removes each finger from his precious daughter for every day that Ronshaku Loans keeps its clients in debt]].
* YoureInsane: He calls Yandere-chan insane when [[spoiler:she tells him to release all debts while negotiating the safe return of his daughter]].

* SpannerInTheWorks: If the player decides to have them take the ritual knife to a teacher, Yandere-chan's attempt to cover up her murders would've been foiled, and possibly even lead to her arrest.

* GratuitousJapanese: In both of her extant EasterEggs[[labelnote:*]](one accessible by entering the KonamiCode on the official website's Character page, the other by decoding [=YandereDev's=] link to an unlisted Youtube video)[[/labelnote]], the same Japanese phrase appears, which roughly translates to "We're going to have a lot of fun together."

* NightmareFuelStationAttendant: Besides her terrifying origins, there is her creepy appearance, her somewhat sinister dialogue and her morbid fascination with Yandere-chan/The player.
* NoFourthWall: In the January 2017 build, she addresses the player to chastise them for hacking the game in order to spawn Osana, saying that [=YandereDev=] asked her to prevent players from doing so, then notes that the player will find some way around her due to being the type of person who edits game files.

** The teachers ''do'' have names – Rino Fuka (Yandere-chan's teacher), Shiori Risa, Reina Nana, Natsuki Anna, Kaho Kanon (Senpai's teacher), and Karin Hana.
* BadassTeacher: If Yandere-chan tries to attack her or if she knows that Yandere-chan killed someone, she'll disarm and pin her to the ground within a matter of seconds. According to WordOfGod, after the 1989 incident, all teachers at Akademi were required to have extensive self-defense training.

* EveryoneHasStandards: If Yandere-chan hangs around in a class that's not hers, the teacher will yell at her for disrupting her class and have her expelled. Also, she won't take too kindly to attempted murder, successful murder, bloody clothes, or panty shots. As of current builds, [[UnusuallyUninterestingSight she does not react to nudity]] (no one does), but it's safe to say that eventually she won't like that either.

* LightningBruiser: She is fast enough to outrun a base-level Yandere-chan, and strong enough to easily physically overpower her.

* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: When she discovers a corpse, the first thing she does is call the cops. If she sees Yandere-chan with blood, a weapon, or just acting suspicious in any way, she will chase Yandere-chan down and/or expel her on the spot.
* SternTeacher: Appears to be the default. She won't hesitate to call Yandere-chan out on arriving to class late or intruding on the incorrect class, and will expel you if she catches you doing something weird. That said, she seems very protective of her students.
* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: Her model is identical to Yandere-chan's, except taller and with brown hair instead of black. Later updates gave the teachers different hairstyles to make them less obvious carbon copies.

* UnwittingPawn: Can be manipulated by Yandere-chan into expelling her romantic rivals.

Akademi High School's Gym Teacher. She first appeared in the March 31st 2016 build. Her function in the game is to make it difficult for Yandere-chan to easily dispatch her rivals – during the morning and afternoon she stands guard by the front gate, and during class time she patrols the Faculty Room where the test answer sheet is. She has all the powers of a normal teacher.

* ThePiratesWhoDontDoAnything: She's officially Akademi's gym teacher, but her routine does not ever take her anywhere near the gym, nor is she shown to teach. During class time, she instead patrols the faculty room to make it hard for Yan-chan to get the test answer sheet and expel Kokona.

* CampingACrapper: [[spoiler:She was killed by Ryoba Aishi in the girl's bathroom, and now haunts it. However, it is unclear whether the Phantom Girl was simply led there or if Yandere-chan's mother waited for the Phantom Girl to go there on her own and then kill her.]]

* GhostlyGoals: If the planned DLC mission pack happens, she will get a physical form and will romance Senpai in revenge for [[spoiler:what Yandere-chan's mother did in the past.]] The dev suggests that the Occult Club will be able to help you out with the ghost problem because you won't be able to kill the Phantom Girl normally.

Due to time constraints, [=YandereDev=] included these soulless automatons beginning with the "Clubs"[[labelnote:*]](February 1st 2016)[[/labelnote]] Update to allow players to try out some of the club mechanics without having to complete a bunch of new students. They do not move, nor do they react to anything except the player engaging them, so Yandere-chan can murder people in front of them without consequence.

* RoboSpeak: They have a tinny, robotic voice.

The Delinquents are a gaggle of students – five boys and five girls – that hang around at the back of the school, next to the entrance to the incinerator. They all carry around weapons and if they see Yandere-chan carrying a limb/corpse, or if she attacks them with a weapon, they'll retaliate with a smack to the head.

* ALighterShadeOfBlack: Sure they're delinquents, but they're nowhere near as bad as Yandere-chan, Info-chan, or (possibly) Yui Rio. They do ''not'' commit, aid in, or approve of murder ([[EvenEvilHasStandards and will in fact mess you up if they see that you are guilty of it]]), they look out for each other and will befriend you in the final game if your reputation is low enough, and [[WordOfGod YandereDev]] has stated that even their leader (one of your rivals) isn't actually evil.
* BadIsGoodAndGoodIsBad: One of the planned features is to make it so that if Yandere-chan has a high reputation, they'll be even more disdainful towards her, but if she has a low reputation, they'll treat her as one of their own.

* BloodKnight: They'll jeer at and threaten Yandere-chan if she intrudes on them, and if she approaches them with a weapon drawn, they'll get ready for a fight.

* DelinquentHair: The females have oddly-coloured streaks in their hair, whereas a couple of the males have pompadours.
* DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu: Not even Yandere-chan [[spoiler:possessed by a '''''freaking demon''''']] can take them in a fight.

** The movement of most [=NPCs=] in the game (students and teachers) is thus far restricted to the original pre-expansion boundaries of Akademi – meaning they cannot follow/chase you to the garden, hedge maze, gym, track, or cherry tree. The delinquents, on the other hand, ''can and will chase you anywhere''. Yes, anywhere. Even if you try glitching out of the map, they will ''still'' chase you down. They're also faster than you, so if you provoke them, you're basically screwed.[[labelnote:†]]They are not known to be able to follow Yandere-chan home, so she's at least safe if she can successfully end the day.[[/labelnote]]

* ThePiratesWhoDontDoAnything: Despite being delinquents, they are not shown causing trouble on campus. They seam perfectly willing to keep to themselves, and while they do insult and threaten Ayano if she goes into their territory, they won't actually attack her unless she pulls a weapon on them, tries to attack them, kills someone in front of them, or is holding a corpse or body part.

* PragmaticVillainy: If you manage to give it vengeance, the demon will give Yandere-chan ten hands that dismember anyone who comes close… except Senpai. The Horror is kind enough to spare him from your bloody rampage.
* RoaringRampageOfRevenge: It wants revenge for a past injustice and its arms being cut off. Fulfill that, and it will be happy to lend Yandere-chan a hand… or ten.
* SuperEmpowering: If Ayano places a certain number of dismembered body parts into the ritual circle, he'll gladly lend her a hand... or ten.

* KarmaHoudini: He can invoke this trope regarding Yandere-chan if she prays to him.

* MissingMom: She and her husband are out of town for the 10 weeks that Yandere-chan is running amok. Why is that? [[spoiler:She's hunting the Journalist, since she discovered he was investigating her again.]]
* MurderTheHypotenuse: [[spoiler:It's unknown how many people she killed or whether or not the Phantom Girl was a rival to the mother or if she just simply got in the way. She must've gotten rid of at least a few girls this way, considering that she had to run around with a mop and bucket all day long like Yandere-chan does if she's a killer too.]]

* AdultFear: You are so confident you are right you test your machine on your daughter, and then she is not only killed, but at the same time living, blasted across space. Now imagine you can't even remember doing so, and she is watching every universe with you in it, and your children won't remember their sibling.

* InterfaceScrew: In the January 2017 build, if the player alters the game's code to try to spawn Osana, FUN GIRL will chase them and, when she catches them, cause the game to crash. When the game is re-opened, FUN GIRL will hijack the title screen to scold the player for messing with the game's files.
