During the battle proper she calls out Ghondor specifically while attacking.

* IJustWantToBeBadass: One of her main issues growing up was her desire to impress her mother and live up to the Reid name by joining the Ouroboros program despite the fact that she was ill-suited to be a soldier. She still managed to come in 8th out of a 100 applicants to become an Ouroboros, but since there can only be 6 at a time her mother regarded this as no different than coming in last.

* TragicKeepsake: A variation, her pistol Blade form belongs to her deceased elder sister Titania.

* WellDoneSonGuy: Everything she did growing up was to obtain her mother's approval, only to fail at it despite what shpould have been impressive results.

* ViolentGlaswegian: Zigzagged, as she's got a Scottish accent in the English dub and Moebius S can fight, but Shania's main conflict growing up was that she was ill-suited to being a soldier, Ghondor noting that she can barely throw a punch (though in the context of her being ill-suited to a fist weapon anbd better with a ranged weapon, she still gaining a high rank in military tests despite her being mentally not suited to the lifestyle).

* UltimateBlacksmith: Riku is one of the seven Legendary Nopon who can wield Ultimate Hammers and work with [[spoiler:Origin metal to upgrade the party's initial Blades]], which also means he personally helped forge [[AbsurdlySharpBlade Lucky Seven]]. The details of how this came to be are another element of the Nopon's MysteriousPast.

** During the ending she refers to Taion as her "fourth best friend", which while it can come off as simply her trying to troll him at first glance, gains greater significance when you remember Eunie's belief in Fortune Clovers, which have ''four'' leaves.

* ImpliedLoveInterest:
** While it's left ambiguous whether their affection for each other is actually supposed to be romantic like Noah and Mio or not, Eunie and Taion receive a fair amount of ShipTease with one another, and some of Eunie's comments towards him come off as flirting that he's [[ObliviousToLove too dense to fully pick up on]].
** Lanz and Sena never show any overt signs of attraction to one another, with their relationship usually being depicted closer to a friendship, but they are the first of the party to immediately take a liking to one another due to being BirdsOfAFeather. Likewise, some of Sena's discussions on Interlinking and who is dominant are [[DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything worded in such a way]] that implies it to be akin to a RomanticFusion.

* TheAce: She was ranked first in the Ouroboros tests, while Shania by comparison was ranked 8th.

** In one sidequest, the party meets a juggler who laments the fact that since he chose not to be a soldier (The Lost Numbers are a strictly volunteer unit), his juggling is not seen as being of any else despite his skill and the fact that it raises morale amongst the City's inhabitants.

** After Sena's sidequest is completed, Playne mentions that he noticed Shania being constantly compared to her elder sister Titania and the toll it was having, but was told by others to stay out of it, and laments that he didn't try to do more. In the same vein, Timna describes Shania as "the pitiable child of a downtrodden house", and wishes that she and Monica had noticed what was going on earlier.

* DespairEventHorizon: Shania's motivation for betraying everyone to Moebius apart from jealousy towards Ghondor is her belief that the constant stasis of Aionios is preferable to a chaotic world where those who can't live in peace (Who she describes as those without power, implicitly including herself) suffer.

* MorphWeapon: As descendants of the Ouroboros, they share the ability to transform their Blades into any shape, though they normally stick with one as they lack Ouroboros ability to instantly pick up Blade skills by switching classes.

* SuperSenses: His horns in [[spoiler:Interlinked]] Moebius form allow him to sense movement through air currents, making him almost impossible to sneak up on.

* {{Expy}}: Of Mumkhar/Metal Face. He's the StarterVillain who kicks off the game's main conflict [[spoiler:and was once a soldier who backstabbed his own men, killed the main protagonist's female childhood friend (or at least a past incarnation of her), and received the power to become his current form as a Consul by the major villainous faction of the game. While he's less of an outright {{Gonk}} than Mumkhar in his real form, he also shares his sadism, goatee, and wields near-identical WolverineClaws gauntlets]].

* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: To Mumkhar/Metal Face, as a depraved AxCrazy villain and TokenMotivationalNemesis with a more monstrous form who attacks with his claws, kills a female ChildhoodFriend of their ArchEnemy (Fiora and Eunie), and loves his new body because of the power it grants him. [[spoiler:Not to mention like Mumkhar, D's demise involves falling from a very great height and blowing up in the process, though it was caused by J, aka Joran not canceling the Interlink past the time limit rather than getting stabbed. The weapons he used during his time as an Agnian soldier were even similar to Mumkhar's.]] Both [[VillainTeamUp even team up with a villain]], though while [[VideoGame/ProjectXZone Mumkhar teamed up with T-Elos]] after being revived by [[spoiler:Byaku Shin's gold chains]], D teams up with J, who's from the same organzation as him rather from another world.

** The emblem of the nation resembles a stylized core crystal from ''VideoGame/XenobladeChronicles2''.

* LightIsGood: More so than the other liberated Agnus Colonies. She's AMotherToHerMen, approved of a system where the ones who contribute to the colony the most get whatever they want within reason, and even somehow managed to convince the Consul to approve of the Collectopedia Card system used by Keves and Agnus to provide supplies to whoever needed them.

* WarmUpBoss: Not in the traditional sense - the fight with Colony Lambda is much too late in the game to count - but its ability to place down a unique area of effect that can debuff or damage characters is introduced here, and serves as an easily avoided and tutorialized version of similar, much more dangerous abilities used by lategame bosses such as [[spoiler:D placing down his own AOE debuffs in Cloudkeep, or Z shooting off pillars of fire in the final boss fight.]]

* AlwaysChaoticEvil: Justified; Moebius are deliberately screened for membership before they become Moebius, meaning that one has to already be someone who would already turn their back on humanity to preserve the ForeverWar at all costs for whatever reason before they get that power. [[spoiler:As shown by [[EvilFormerFriend J]], awakening to all their PastLifeMemories sends those who still had qualms [[DespairEventHorizon over the deep end]], with the realization of how inescapable the war is causing them to draw into themselves and come to see strength as the only measure of worth. It ends up being subverted as the game goes on - Moebius aren't inherently evil, their hedonism and power means they usually just naturally end up becoming psychopathic monsters as a result. Triton found other ways to live out his immortality that were much less destructive, travelling the world and seas, I, despite her actions is implied to have honestly cared for Fiona, and M didn't even want to be Moebius in the first place.]]

* GoMadFromTheRevelation: J reveals that [[spoiler:when a person is elevated to a Moebius, they immediately regain all of the memories of their past selves at once, which explains why many of the Moebius members have gone insane despite having previously been regular humans.]]

* TheHedonist: The main motive they have beyond eradicating Ouroborous, their natural adversaries, is finding ways to entertain themselves. [[spoiler:This is part of the pitch Z gives to potential members, because as immortals, the only thing they need to do is stave off boredom, allowing them to live in an "eternal now" where they don't need to give a rip about the future or the past.]]

* LifeDrinker: Consuls are capable of absorbing the life-force of others. They can do this by sucking it up directly from those closest to them or by taking it from a nearby Flame Clock.

** Their true name and their transformation power Moebius, likely refers to the Möbius strip, a 3-dimensional object that has only one uninterrupted side. This is a direct contrast with the Ouroboros, which is also named after a shape forming an uninterrupted circle.
* MonsterOfTheWeek: While some of the Moebius get more screentime to themselves and serve as primary villains, a fair number of them only serve to be the final boss of a Hero's recruitment quest.

* OptionalBoss: A good number of the Moebius are exclusive to Hero Quests.
* OrderIsNotGood: They are the protectors of the world, as opposed to Ouroboros, the enemies of the world. Said world is [[CrapsackWorld an utter nightmare]], so the Moebius are AlwaysChaoticEvil.

* TinTyrant: The Moebius are an antagonistic force who are all dressed in intimidating metallic armor, and the Direct Trailer has characters note them to be the real power behind the war.

* LightIsNotGood: The Moebius in golden armor who looks like a noble samurai is just as twisted as the rest.

* HopeCrusher: All his NobleDemon qualities go out the window when faced with Noah, seeking only to drive the man to a DespairEventHorizon. [[spoiler:He wants to prove that if push came to shove, [[WhatYouAreInTheDark our Noah would make the same choices as he did]]. Seeing how Noah [[HeroicWillpower refuses to give up his ideals]] even after he thinks his Mio is DeaderThanDead causes quite the VillainousBreakdown coupled with the fact that M (his Mio) performed a HeroicSacrifice due to [[DeathSeeker no longer wanting to exist as a Moebius]].]]

* SmugSnake: He thinks he's got Alexandria under his thumb, but the truth is that Alexandria sees through his deceptions and is actually trying to gauge the Ouroboros's strength before getting them to attack Colony Iota and depose the Consul.

* AffablyEvil: Tries an honest effort to get Ouroboros to work with him - though unlike most examples of this trope, this only shows how detached he is from human life.
