* OldMaster: He's been fighting for at least seventy years, if not more, and was responsible for forging Bash into the combatant he is today.

* BloodKnight: Relishes the opportunity to fight some humans, having heard they're all planet-destroying badasses, and scoffs at Finley's pacifism.

* ItsPersonal: Unlike his first encounter with the party, his second encounter was motivated entirely by his desire for revenge for being, in his eyes, cheated out of a fair fight.

* WellDoneSonGuy: He wants nothing more than to impress his father, Merqury, even though said father barely acknowledges he exists, and outright calls him a 'mistake' to his face.

* PokemonSpeak: Is so far the ''only'' character in the RP to play this straight, though with a slight twist as he can only say his species' ''Japanese'' name: Bashāmo. Max is the only one who can understand him, and as such has to 'translate' everything he says. It's later revealed to be the end result of an encounter he had with a Psychic legendary.

* HeterosexualLifePartners: To Goobert, as they're close friends come Finley's attack. However, this is more of a case of BashBrothers.

* ProperlyParanoid: Even before the meeting with Serris, he knew that something was very off-putting about Bella's very presence. Finally served up when Bella unveils her master plan.

* WouldHitAGirl: Punched Jillian in the face with little to no provocation simply because she caused problems with the group. Surprisingly, there were no negative repercussions.

* PreppyName: The family's last name is Terranport, a ground-tweaked version of the wealthy Davenport name. Lilly's full name is Lilith Ezri Terranport, and although not yet mentioned in game, Milly's is Millicent Emony Terranport and Tilly's is Matilda Lela Terranport.

* ActualPacifist: Heavily implied by Digda to be this, seeing how she'd [[HoldYourHippogriffs never hurt a Cutiefly]].

* {{Whipped}}: He's absolutely whipped by Triss, though it's more due of her own perfectionist tendencies than malicious one-way nagging.

Marsha's adopted brother. Owns and rents out a pontoon boat known as the ''Shifter'' at the Silversand marina.

* CharacterTics: Instinctively morphs into every new person he meets...much like wild Dittos do in the games.
* DistressedDude: Gets kidnapped along with Finley and Mila during the Argatha arc after being mistaken for an Electric-type Pokémon, being in the form of a Lanturn at the time of his abduction. (He is injured and knocked unconscious in the process.)

* ShapeshifterDefaultForm: Prefers the form of a Swampert (like his sister) to his standard form. He later chooses a female Noivern form as a secondary form in Hoard, but he predominately prefers his Swampert form.
* VerbalTic: Two. He calls everyone "kid", just saying...

* BloodKnight: Much to his distress, he becomes far more aggressive once a fight breaks out, relishing in his opponents' pain and even threatening to harm his allies. This has only intensified after he contracted [[HatePlague Viral Aggression]].

* HowDoIShotWeb: {{Downplayed|trope}}. While he has some difficulty adjusting to his new wings, it doesn't take him long to get off the ground.
* TheNicknamer: Nicknaming others is a habit of his, with some of his nicknames being {{Shout Out}}s to other works. In fact, at one point he even debates what his nickname for Goobert should be. So far there's...

* StepfordSmiler: {{Downplayed|trope}}. Though he does miss his old life, he does his best not to think about it and usually remains upbeat.

* OohMeAccentsSlipping: Occasionally slip into their native accent, which is pretty light due to generational decay. Do it in front of their mother, though, and she'll chide them.

* BerserkButton: The only times Goobert has picked a fight with anyone has been when another member of the party has been attacked or injured.

* TheMindIsAPlaythingOfTheBody: Goobert frequently has to resist giving other characters slimy hugs when particularly happy/relieved for them. (And occasionally failing to.) He is also embarrassed and disgusted when he discovers that he finds Delilah, a female Garchomp at Silversand Beach, and later Ripley attractive. It ultimately escalates into an internal struggle with his instincts when he realizes that he does have feelings for the former.

* PutOnABus: The Silversand arc sees Goobert leaving the group to help out Benji at his marina after Benji loses the help he originally had. He returns for the Castle of Coral arc, but stays behind in Silversand as the others go to Hoard. He soon returns for good during the Hoard arc.

* BigSisterInstinct: Journeys to the Castle of Coral with everyone else when she learns that Benji is imprisoned down there along with the rest of the ''Shifter'' crew. (As well as Goobert's body, which, at the time, was inhabited by Belle after a FreakyFridayFlip.)

* GuestStarPartyMember: She joins the party in their search for the kidnapped party members, partially because she feels it's necessary for her to be there as she was a witness to one of the kidnappings, and partially because she wants to meet Benji again (being fascinated by the fact that she's a Ditto).

* AdaptationDeviation: Dugtrio only have one egg at a time in the games -- but for Agarthan Dugtrio mating together, they have three simultaneously. They were born not all that far apart, either.

** Later defied when Digda manages to identify key similarities between Jani and Milly -- while he spent a lot of time doing so, one can infer that he originally got these tells from the real Milly with a mere cursory glance.

* HeroAntagonist: The mother, sisters, and father all serve as minor antagonists, but they're also somewhat justified. The situation regarding Jani's arrival in the world is the only reason they even qualify as such -- and they're certainly not villains.

* SameSexTriplets: The "components" of Agarthan Dugtrio tend to be born in the same litter within hours of each other, and are always ([[{{Mutants}} with rare exception]]) the same sex. The Diglett sisters are no exception.

Milly is the original owner of the body Jani ended up in when she was forced into the WHABP world. Presumably, her soul is in Jani's human body in the human world, and is most likely never to actually be shown -- merely talked about.

* MrExposition: Masked better than it often is, but manages to inform the party of Agartha and the orbs situation during their initial encounter.

* ManipulativeBastard: Demonstrates this during the "tense dinner" scene, where she plays all sorts of mind games to uncover the truth about Jani/Milly.

* OohMeAccentsSlipping: As a politician, she has trained herself to suppress her natural Agarthan southern accent -- limiting it to terms like y'all and tarnation for the sake of town pride. (though she's trying to get her kids to rid it altogether, as a forward-thinker) She still occasionally slips back into it, though -- becoming almost as thick as her husband, Doug.

* ParentalFavoritism: Makes it pretty clear that Tilly, the rational one, is her favorite. Given that Milly was sponsored into Orichalcum, however, this may not have always been the case.

* ActualPacifist: Not unlike Milly, the other two sisters are also pacifists. This is in line with Triss' insistence they solve problems with words, not violence.

* Telepathy: Shoehorned AF trope but it's worth pointing out -- obviously, Agarthan Dugtrio share thoughts through physical connections. Related to the kidnapping of Fila. Tailed by Jani and Lilly to his house. Provided the clue "CLUEHERE".

Milly's sisters. The three were intended to join (evolve into a Dugtrio together) since birth, but Milly's "disappearance" completely upended their lives.

A somewhat surly but out-going Swampert who is a lifeguard on the beach in Silversand; beleagured by certain pranksters misbehaving and being upstaged by Delilah. Is Benji's sister.

* TheNapoleon: Marsha is shorter than usual for a Swampert (only being about 3' 11') and loud-mouthed at times. (Though this is balanced out by her [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold genuinely good nature]].)

!!Vince (Tangrowth)

Originally encountered in Silversand, was a mild annoyance, attacked one of the humanmons. Eventually got curbed stomped by Marlon in Round 3 of the tournament.

* EarlyBirdCameo: Appeared all the way back in Silversand before suddenly showing up in Hoard as part of the Tournament. %%And playing a larger role from then on.

Father of Milly, owner of the house the party ends up in when Jani is struck with an Escape Orb.

* LargeHam: If her use of mild, unsettling earthquakes to make an entrance when annoyed aren't enough of a hint, her manner of speaking pretty much locks her into this trope.

* SameSexTriplets: All three were born in the same litter.
