They're both monstrous beings who have been around for centuries and serve as the BigBad and the FinalBoss of their respective games. The Golden Diva cursed Princess Shokora and took over her pyramid, while Terrormisu destroyed Poobah's kingdom and sank his pyramid into the sand. They're both [[SequentialBoss Sequential Bosses]] who fight with masks, and while they initially seem to have beautiful faces, near the end of their respective fights the mask falls off to reveal an uglier face. They also both scuttle around helplessly when they're on their very last hit point. Lastly, after both are defeated, a non-human character reveals a human form. The black cat turns out to be Princess Shokora, while the wand Goodstyle turns out to be the founder of the Cannoli clan.
