* TookALevelInKindness: ''Heavily'' downplayed, and it generally depends on the specific type of Orruk (i.e., the Orruk Kruleboyz are even ''nastier'' on average than the cruelest Orcs of the World-That-Was), but the various Orruks of ''Age of Sigmar'' overall trend closer to the "ChaoticNeutral" side of things than the "ChaoticEvil" side that the vast majority of orcs in the other ''Warhammer'' settings. What certainly helps is how ''Age of Sigmar'' puts more focus on their BlueAndOrangeMorality (with them all being such {{Blood Knight}}s that their wars against the various Order factions is based [[NothingPersonal less in genuine malice]] and more in [[WorthyOpponent that they provide great fights]]), and Orruks overall are more willing to not combat innocent civilians since they see them as NotWorthKilling. A good example of this can be seen in the ''WesternAnimation/HammerAndBolter'' episode "Double or Nothing," where the Stormcast Hamilcar Bear-Eater [[BavarianFireDrill bullshits his way into an Ironjawz war camp]], and instead of killing him on the spot, the Orruk guards are more just confused on why he's there, interested primarily in getting him to piss off, and even provide him directions on where to meet their Megaboss after he insists on it enough times.

* CompositeCharacter: Despite being the fusion of the old Orc and Goblin gods Gork and Mork, Gorkamorka is also worshipped as the Great Beast that Consumes the World by the Gutbusters, in the almost exact fashion according to which the Ogres of the World-that-was worshipped the Great Maw.

* TheStarscream: He promptly betrayed the Alliance once he grew bored of not being allowed to rampage as he pleased. Tzeentch whispering deception in his ears and him growing jealous of his "son" Behemat for having what he saw as more freedom certainly didn't help matters.

* DeityOfHumanOrigin: While he's not actually human, he eventually "ascended" to divinity as a powerful god of earthquakes and destruction.
* LastOfHisKind: He wiped out the rest of his race, the Drogrukh, as part of his ascension to divinity.

* Blood Knight: They're perpetually angry if they're not currently in a fight right now. fight. So it's safe to say they're the happiest race in Age ''Age of Sigmar.Sigmar''.
* BlueAndOrangeMorality: Orruks are such {{Blood Knight}}s that determining an actual ''reason'' for a fight more often than not doesn't really matter to them -- from their perspective, the mere option for a fight is more important than if it's for "good" or "evil."

* FunetikAksent: As is traditional for Creator/GamesWorkshop greenskins, orruk speech is rendered phonetically in heavily broken English.

to:

* DumbMuscle: Most Orruks are as dumb as rocks, and their primary battle strategy is a mix of ZergRush and WeHaveReserves. Naturally, this makes the ''actually'' intelligent Orruks all the more dangerous.
* FantasyCounterpartCulture: As in both ''Warhammer Fantasy'' and ''40K'', the Orruks of ''Age of Sigmar'' are in large part a parody of English Football hooligans.
* FunetikAksent: As is traditional for Creator/GamesWorkshop greenskins, orruk speech is rendered phonetically in heavily broken Cockney English.

* LargeHam: Virtually every Orruk is loud, boisterous and overdramatic to the max.
* LaughablyEvil: "Evil" is admittedly a ''bit'' of a stretch thanks to their BlueAndOrangeMorality, but the point still stands that the LargeHam nature and status as (predominantly) dull-witted savages makes the Orruks the surprisingly hilarious {{Lethal Joke Character}}s of the Mortal Realms more often than not.

* TookALevelInBadass: The Orruks are bigger and stronger than their ''Fantasy'' ancestors, closer to (though nowhere near on par with) [[TabletopGame/Warhammer40000 Orks]] in terms of size and strength, which is reflected in their stats. Case in point, while a regular Orc Boy was worth as many points as a standard human soldier in ''Fantasy'',[[note]]The Orc had 1 extra point of Toughness and got +1 to Strength in the first round only to reflect its moderate strength advantage (the Orc and human were otherwise both Strength 3). A State Troop, compared to an Orc, had 1 extra point in Initiative to reflect its moderate speed advantage, plus either 1 extra point in Weapon Skill (if a swordsman) or a better weapon (if a halberdier) to reflect better training.[[/note]] Orruk units generally have twice the per-model point cost as Freeguild ones.

to:

* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: Their status as basically Orc {{Super Soldier}}s and more often than not the leaders of various orc warclans paints them as the ''Age of Sigmar'' counterpart to the Black Orcs of ''Warhammer Fantasy''.

* DemotedToExtra: In [[https://www.warhammer-community.com/2024/04/04/whats-leaving-the-warhammer-age-of-sigmar-range/ early 2024]], Games Workshop announced that Bonesplitterz would be moved to Warhammer Legends for the 4th Edition of ''Age of Sigmar''. This means that Games Workshop will stop updating their rules & background after the summer of 2025, and they will no longer be supported for competitive play (though they are still available for casual play) but will still exist InUniverse and have a presence in the lore.

* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: To the Savage Orcs of ''Warhammer Fantasy'', to the point where they share many of the same models.

-->"Hammer God never understood Gorkamorka, never saw. Gorkamorka wants to fight forever, but the Hammer God doesn't. Hammer God wants to build walls and towers and castles... But what's the point of that if you never knock them over? Even the Chaos-things don't understand. They think the point is to kill everyone, but then who'd be there to fight? Nobody understands but Ironjawz, because we're the smartest and the toughest."

* ArchEnemy: While he has no small list of fools that he's planning on krumpin', he ''really'' despises the assorted forces of Chaos and wants to wipe them from the Mortal Realms. While this is in large part because they provide the best fights, it's also because he's worried about Chaos destroying the Mortal Realms entirely and leaving him with no more people to fight. Sigmar, however, is the primary target of Gordrakk's ultimate plans, as he sees the "Hammerboy" as a weakling who needs to be krumped to prove his own strength.

* DualWielding: Gordrakk is armed with a pair of brutal axes known as Smasha and Kunnin', each blessed by one half of Gorkamorka. Smasha has been filled with the essence of Gork so that it seeks out the blood of enemy Heroes (giving it a chance of doing extra [[UnblockableAttack mortal wounds]] against them), while Kunnin' is blessed by Mork to hunt for enemy magic users (also having a chance of causing extra mortal wounds). These weapons were originally part of a single axe known as Worldchoppa but Gordrakk broke it into two so that he could kill more enemies with them.
* MultipleChoicePast: While the most popular theory for Gordrakk's origins is that he was made by Gorkamorka from one of his knucklebones to free the orruks of Ghur from the yoke of Chaos, other stories also exist, including that he was originally a boy from the Fang-krushas warclan, and another that Gorkamorka has tasked him to lead the hunt for the Spirit of the Realm of Beasts itself. No orruk truly cares where Gordrakk came from, least of all the Fist of Gork himself, and are content to follow him as long as he leads them to the best fights.

These weapons were originally part of a single axe known as Worldchoppa but Gordrakk broke it into two so that he could kill more enemies with them.
* EvilVsOblivion: He loathes the forces of Chaos and wants to smash Archaon the Everchosen himself to pieces since he fears Chaos growing too powerful, tearing the Mortal Realms apart and leaving him with no more foes to krump.
* FatalFlaw: Impatience. It's specifically noted that if he hadn't tried to tear down the city's gates himself and had performed proper reconnaissance, he, Kragnos and their combined Waaagh! would've likely conquered the Free City of Excelsis easily instead of them getting routed by the forces of Order when he knocked himself unconscious (thanks to him not properly surveying the battlefield beforehand and thus getting thrown back by one of Morathi's spells) and Lord Kroak & Morathi worked together to teleport Kragnos away to make him Chaos' problem instead of theirs.
* GeniusBruiser: He's shown multiple times to be a pretty clever tactician and strategist, such as when he decided to take the Free City of Excelsis not just because... well, [[BloodKnight he's an Orruk]], but to test his [[TeethClenchedTeamwork strained alliance]] with Kragnos and to give the semi-divine battering ram he created specifically so he could smash apart Realmgates and make an easy avenue for him to reach Azyr a "practice run". That's right, Gordrakk's not just a good general for an Orruk, he's a good general for an Orruk ''who specifically tests his super-weapons and strategies ahead of time before using them.''
* HiddenDepths: He's surprisingly philosophical for an Orruk, especially when put into the context of all three ''Warhammer'' settings. As an example, he derides Sigmar & the other Order-aligned deities as dolts for not realizing that [[VictoryIsBoring building up civilizations only has meaning if they can get destroyed]] (or, from his perspective, there's no point in "building up walls if you never bother to knock them over"), and sees Chaos as the greatest possible threat to the Mortal Realms since there will be no one left to fight if they ever succeed in destroying ''everything'' like they did in the End Times.
* ItCanThink: Easily among the smartest of the Megabosses among the Ironjawz, and it's been noted multiple times that even for an Orruk, he's pretty brilliant in terms of both tactics and strategy.
* ManipulativeBastard: Gordrakk's best skill is his ability to manipulate and convince others to follow his directives. As an example, after his attempted conquest of Excelsis fell through, he started to invade the Eightpoints so he could defeat Archaon as a "warm up" in his ultimate plan to defeat Sigmar after Archaon inadvertently opened a Realmgate to Azyr for him. However, he was then interrupted by King Brodd of the Sons of Behemat, leading over a hundred gargants and who were demanding access to the Eightpoints so ''he'' could personally flatten Sigmar under his heels. Gordrakk then convinced Brodd to instead go back to Ghur & assault the resurgent Azyrite settlers attempting to colonize Brodd's ancient homelands, splitting Sigmar's forces between stopping Gordrakk's horde & defending the settlers from Brodd's stomp.
No orruk truly cares where Gordrakk came from, least of all the Fist of Gork himself, and they are content to follow him as long as he leads them to the best fights.
* SuperScream: He can shout loud enough ''that the game rules treat it as a ranged weapon''.
* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: To Grimgor Ironhide of ''Warhammer Fantasy'' in terms of them both being the most powerful, feared, dangerous and intelligent of the main Orc/Orruk special characters along with being the faction's primary leader character.

** Notably, Gutbusterss avoid eating [[OurGoblinsAreDifferent Gnoblars]] when possible; Gnoblars taste bad and there's not much in the way of meat to begin with, and they're generally more useful as gofers and lackeys than as meals. Note that Ogors are not above eating them; they're just never a first pick. Ogors will still eat them if no other sources of meat around, or if the Gnoblar annoys them.
