A trio of males, Yuu, Kyo and Wil were made for the 10th Anniversary of Vocaloid. Their voices were made to blend well together, and provide vocals for all kinds of situations, be it as a group, solo, duet or even back-up. Their art was done by Yoshitako Amano of ''Franchise/FinalFantasy'' fame. Several impressive and realistic sounding demos have been release so far, such as [[http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/1369118889 this]] and [[http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/1369118695 this]].

!!CYBER DIVA
[[quoteright:240:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cyber_diva3.png]]

CYBER DIVA is the first new English Vocaloid for V4. She is notable for having been recorded with a new English recording script. It has been confirmed that she is part of the VY vocals, and is also known as [=VY3=].

She was released on 4 February 2015.

----
%%* CoolShades
* GoldMakesEverythingShiny: Just look at the amount of gold in her boxart.
%%* HairOfGold
* MeaningfulName: The term Diva is usually used to describe female singers that have reached idol status or [[{{Narcissist}} consider themselves to be]].
* ThemeNaming: As mentioned above, she is the native English female of the [=VY=] vocal series, but has a completely different name to [=VY1=] and [=VY2=]. She has a similar naming scheme to CYBER SONGMAN instead, with it being written as "CYBER" followed by a word applied to certain types of singers.

!!CYBER SONGMAN
[[quoteright:240:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cybersongman2.jpg]]

CYBER SONGMAN is YAMAHA's second English Vocaloid for V4. As CYBER DIVA was said to be the "female" half of the pair for the English [=VY=] vocals, CYBER SONGMAN is speculated to be the male half, [=VY4=].

He was released on 31 October 2016.

----
* CoolShades
* MeaningfulName: The latter part of his name is another word for a [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lay_clerk lay clerk]], or male choir singer.
* ThemeNaming: Carries the same "CYBER" in his name as CYBER DIVA.

!!Standard Vocals - Amy and Chris
A pair of English voicebanks issued as part of [=VOCALOID5=]'s Standard Vocals. They serve as the successor to the English VY Voicebanks.
----
* AmbiguouslyBrown: Averted; as CYBER SONGMAN has no official avatar, Amy and Chris' avatars are the first to be unambiguously black.
* {{Expy}}: Can be seen as this to LEON and LOLA, who have similar voice types. In addition, while LEON and LOLA don't have official designs, they have been officially confirmed to be voiced by black people, were specifically marketed as soul vocalists, and [[https://vocaloid.wikia.com/wiki/File:SoulVocalist.jpg early boxart for them unambiguously depicts them as black]], further cementing the idea Amy and Chris could be their counterparts.
* NonstandardCharacterDesign: While their designs have a low poly aesthetic (see {{Retraux}} below), they also have a more realistic art style in comparison to most Vocaloids.
* {{Retraux}}: Like Ken and Kaori, their designs have a low poly aesthetic typical of 90s video games/[=3D=] art.

!! Po-Uta
A high-pitched masculine vocal made in collaboration with and sampled from the musician Music/PorterRobinson. His voice is based on Robinson's as it appears in his album ''Nurture''.
----
* PunnyName: Po-Uta both uses "uta" (song) and sounds like a corruption of the Japanese pronunciation of his voice provider's first name (''ポーター'', pootaa, becomes ポーウタ).

!![=VY1=]
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Ofclboxart_bplt_VY1-img1_6620.jpg]]
Codenamed "Mizki" (as a reference to ''hanamizuki'', a type of flower), [=VY1=]'s announcement and demo files were made in the most mysterious way possible. Eventually it was revealed that it was developed by bplats and was eventually distributed by Yamaha themselves as the twelfth Japanese Vocaloid.

Unlike the other Vocaloids, [=VY1=] has no gender or personality, as it is intended to be used as a serious musical product. It is however described as "feminine".

-----
* CurtainsMatchTheWindow: The revised version of the winning design that shows up in an artbook gives her pink hair and pink eyes.
* TheFaceless
* FlowerMotifs: All over the box. It's also where the code-name Mizki comes from (the flower ''hanamizuki'').
* IconicItem: The paper fan and/or the hair clip on its boxart.
* NamedByTheAdaptation: Her appearance in the now-defunct ''VOCADOL'' rhythm game named her after [=VY1=]'s codename.
* NonstandardCharacterDesign: Unlike the other Vocaloids, who are human or have humans on their boxart, [=VY1=] is represented as an inanimate fan/hairpin. Some fans try getting around this by turning her into a full-blown AnimateInanimateObject or [[AnthropomorphicPersonification personifying]] the items.
* TheTease: In ''[[http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm11970243 What a Lewd Sequencer!]]'' by Lamaze-P, she attempts to flash her underwear to the listener several times.
* UpdatedRerelease: [=VY1V3=], an update for [=VOCALOID3=], then [=VY1V4=], which came with a set of new voicebanks, ''then'' [=VY1V5=], which isn't much more than a port of [=VY1V4=].
* YamatoNadeshiko: Several personified designs for her tend to have these sorts of vibes.

Like [=VY1=], it was developed by bplats and was eventually distributed by Yamaha. It is the 16th Japanese Vocaloid. It is also given a codename of "Yuma."

Also like [=VY1=], [=VY2=] has no gender or personality, as it is intended to be used as a serious musical product. It is however described as "masculine".

-----
* CoolSword: The wakizashi on its boxart.
* CurtainsMatchTheWindow: His [=VocaFes=] contest design gives us pink eyes and pink hair. The revised version for an artbook keeps it that way, but oddly enough matches up with [=VY1=]'s winning design by pure coincidence.
* KatanasAreJustBetter: A wakizashi, technically.
* NonstandardCharacterDesign: He and [=VY1=] are the few Vocaloids to be represented by only items, in his case a sword. Double subverted by the V3 design: Nagamiso.SYS had drawn a concept of [[https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nagimisosys_vy2.jpg the kind of human who would hold the sword,]] but that's not his canon design.
* RidiculouslyHumanRobots: Downplayed -- [[http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-pGq2_IfgY5U/Tf6igic-s4I/AAAAAAAAA8A/tW82M9S6ZKM/s1600/18386232_big_p2.jpg As seen in this concept art for his contest design]], he looks more like a cyborg.
* SingleTargetSexuality: In "A Clingy Boy Sticking for 15 Years", he devotes all of his poems and letters to one single person. Even when he gathers the attention of some very attractive young women for his work, he still thinks them to be inferior to his loved one.
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: Yuma/Yuuma.
* UpdatedRerelease: [=VY2V3=], but unlike [=VY1V3=], he gets an additional "falsetto" voicebank to expand his singing range. He later received another update as [=VY2V5=], which is a port of his [=V3=] to [=VOCALOID5=]. Surprisingly averted in the [=V4=] era, as he did not receive an update for [=V4=] unlike [=VY1=].

A Vocaloid made by Yamaha, she is so far one of the 2 starter vocals offered for the [=VOCALOID3=] software, other than [=VY1=] above. Her voice provider is [[MeaningfulName Miu Sakamoto]]. The cat depicted in her artwork is based off of Miu's own cat, Sabami.

Her full design is [[http://otaniryuji.com/_src/sc384/mew2012zenshin3030.jpg here]]; the design is made by a Japanese artist "Otaniryuji".

* NonstandardCharacterDesign: She's drawn in a more realistic style than the previous Japanese Vocaloids.
* PrettyInMink: Not only does she don a scarf that looks suspiciously made from a feline, she also wears a leopard-patterned skirt.
* PunnyName: "Mew" has the same pronunciation as "[[TheDanza Miu]]".
* RavenHairIvorySkin
* TattooedCrook: The tattoo on her right arm is of the English phonetic spelling of her name.

-----
* ArtShift: Go through numerous instances of this thanks to the variant covers. Each member has about 4 different shifts.
* AmbiguouslyBrown: Wil, considering his skin tone is darker than the extremely pale Yuu and Kyo in official artwork. As a bonus, his voice actor, Maui, is Filipino.
* EightiesHair
* FreudianTrio: Their voice types, with Kyo having a loud, energetic voice, Yuu having a sweet, deep-toned voice, and Wil having a husky, somewhat cold-sounding voice. It's further emphasized by their respective [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zztNhWUGqU8 [=EXVoice=]]] samples.
* FunWithAcronyms: "ZOLA" is an acronym for "'''Z'''enithal '''O'''perated '''L'''iaison '''A'''ggregration".
* NonstandardCharacterDesign: It's what's to expect from the guy who did art for ''Franchise/FinalFantasy''.
* OurVampiresAreDifferent: One of Kyo's designs has a distinct vampire theme, complete with bat wings.
* PersonalityBloodTypes: Yuu and Kyo are blood types B, while Wil is a blood type A.
* VocalDissonance: Despite having the youngest-looking design, Yuu has the deepest voice of the three.

[[http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140218053834/vocaloid/images/b/b7/Anon_%26_Kanon.png anon & kanon]] were released by Bplats in March 2014. The two girls are sisters, Anon being the younger of the two, in high school, and can cover a variety of songs. They are the first Vocaloids to be confirmed as twins, but the second to be confirmed as siblings. Their voice providers have yet to be released.

-----
* AllLowercaseLetters: Their names are officially spelt this way.
* BoyishShortHair: Anon has short hair, contrasting with her sister's long hair.
* ColorContrast: The classic black/white version; Anon wears a white outfit, Kanon wears a black outfit.

* IdiotHair: Both girls have a very small ahoge.
* MeaningfulName: Their names mean "apricot sound" and "bird sound" respectively.
* RedOniBlueOni: Anon is the Red Oni, described as 'airheaded' and 'scatter brained.' Kanon is the Blue Oni, described as 'a focused and level headed girl.'
* ThemeTwinNaming: The "non" (which means "sound") at the end of their names.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: Their designs give off this vibe, with Anon being the tomboy, and Kanon being the Girly Girl.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Both of the girls like bread.

[[folder:Fukase]]
!!Fukase
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fukase_transparent_notxt.png]]

A Vocaloid released for the [=VOCALOID4=] engine. He is based off of the singer Satoshi Fukase of ''SEKAI NO OWARI'' fame.

In 2015, YAMAHA ran a Pixiv design contest for the representation of Fukase's voice bank. The winner (3kuma) was selected on September 18, 2015.
----
* BodyHorror: Whatever the hell is up with his left side, and most notably the [[FacialHorror left side of his face]]. No one's really certain if it's burns, an unnerving pattern of veins, scales, or something else entirely. But whatever it is, it's kind of freaky. Not to mention that fully blood red eye.
** Initially in the Pixiv contest drawings, his arm didn't have any anomalies; it was merely bandaged. However for the boxart cleanup, the arm became just as strange as his face.
* CartoonCreature: Point, the small white humanoid hanging off of his cane in his official art.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: While he has no set personality, it's not uncommon to see him portrayed with a strange personality to match his appearance, especially in the Western fandom.
* CurtainsMatchTheWindow: Curly red hair to go with his red eyes.
* DarkHorseVictory: Most people thought that the design made by Miwasiba (who also did the design for V4 flower) would be sure to win the design contest. And indeed, there was a lot of votes for Siba's design during the first leg of the contest. Instead, the winning design came right on the ''very last day'' before judging.
* VocalDissonance: His voice sounds like that of a teenage boy's. His character design makes him look around Oliver's age. Art by [=3kuma=] after the fact makes Fukase look much older and more voice-appropriate.

!!Standard Vocals - Kaori & Ken
Along with English banks Amy and Chris, these Japanese vocals were released as part of the standard [=VOCALOID5=] package. They serve as successor voices to [=VY1=] and [=VY2=].

-----
* {{Expy}}: Can be seen as this to [=VY1=] and [=VY2=], as they are intended to succeed them as standard voices. Arguably, they can also be seen as this to MEIKO and KAITO, who were also intended to be standard voices up until Vocaloid's boom and the release of the [=VYs=].
* NonstandardCharacterDesign: While their designs have a low poly aesthetic (see {{Retraux}} below), they also have a more realistic art style in comparison to most Vocaloids.
* {{Retraux}}: Like Amy and Chris, their designs have a low poly aesthetic typical of 90s video games/[=3D=] art.
