* BigFun: Armstrong is a fairly stocky, almost chubby-looking guy, but is a fun-loving hedonist with a surprising amount of charisma.
* CompleteImmortality: The Eternal Brothers have been granted independent control over their souls, making their physical forms merely shells they sculpt through unconscious will. This renders them NighInvulnerable, with a powerful HealingFactor that allows them to restore any damage that they do take. Even complete physical destruction only temporarily renders them inactive, until they will themselves back into being. There is no known method to kill them.
* DisproportionateRetribution: The Sect's pursuit of Armstrong ultimately began with the Order of Saint Phoebe, a sect of the Knights Templar who believed their titular leader, Mademoiselle Phoebe, was a living saint -- in fact, she was actually a con artist playing them for a fool and secretly allied with King Phillip II of France. When Armstrong inadvertently spoiled Phoebe's efforts to seduce an important young English knight, Lockinbar of Kent, by taking his place and seducing her instead -- and getting her pregnant. When her condition came out, she deflected the blame by accusing Armstrong of being a demon who raped her. The Order of Saint Phoebe became the core of the Sect, a religion-spanning cult that has spent centuries hunting down Armstrong in an effort to kill him dead for this.
* HealingFactor: Part of the package powers from his immortality; Armstrong is [[SuperToughness hard to hurt in the first place]], but once he ''is'' injured, he quickly reverts to his uninjured self.
* ImmortalImmaturity: Unlike his similarly immortal brothers, who are stoic, serious heroes, Armstrong is a laid-back hedonist whose ambitions start and end at enjoying himself for all eternity. He cares only for good food, strong drink, and plenty of willing women, and has no real interest in being a hero.
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: The Sect first took shape and began its centuries-long crusade against Armstrong when he inadvertently destroyed a mosque sacred to the family of the Islamic emperor Saladin whilst trying to flee a band of angry Knights Templar.
* ReallyGetsAround: Armstrong openly boasts about the ''thousands'' of hot women he's shagged over the centuries he's been alive, and is ever-ready to increase the score.
* SuperStrength: He possesses incredible strength that allows him to achieve feats like uprooting trees and casually punching out T-rexes.
* SuperToughness: As a side-effect of his immortality, Armstrong is incredibly resistant to physical injury, although he can be hurt.

Gilad Anni-Padda is the youngest of three eternal brothers. His siblings are Ivar (Timewalker) and Aram (Armstrong). They all are immortal and were born before recorded history. Gilad is the Fist and Steel of those who guard the earth, the Geomancers, and his battle is never-ending.
