* MeaningfulName: Not only he watches over Yani, but also traps things in his cage.

He was the brother of now-runaway Aya. Has a huge drill in place of his legs. Also, he is the victim of massive decay and can tunnel using his drill. His opinion on you is neutral and he does not want to interfere in the way of other Brothers.

* StationaryBoss: He can teleport if being in danger, but will otherwise remain in place until he can teleport again.

Young Sister who lives at the top of the Void in a place that resembles a creepy flat in the house. She accepts azure and violet. Her Brother is Warden.

* ImpossibleTask: Likes to request these in international release.
* MrExposition: Subverted in case that he explains the rules of the Void to you, but never makes everything clear.
* TheStoic: Tries not to show excess of emotions, being a leaderly figure.

* CleopatraNose

* Rolling Attack: Averted for some reason: in his fight he rolls in his arena circumferentially, but is unable to do any damage should you step in front of his wheel.

* GravityMaster: On of his attacks involves pulling you to him. It can be avoided by hiding behind some obstacle.

* WheelOfPain: A strange take on this type of torture, but is clearly based on it. Funny enough, he is not able to roll on you with his wheel, preferring to use poisonous gas to attack.

Ire's Brother, locked in strange mechanism resembling a pipe organ with other sound-making devices attached. He is not very seroius and acclaims the reason to spend Colour, due to him and his Brothers being sinful.

* ChaoticNeutral: She openly states she wants to do something big and revolutionary, like the fire is burning inside her. Yet she is harmless and has her own goals.

Like Echo, Aya also wanders, and refers to Echo as "master". She accepts amber and crimson.

* ChaoticEvil: Aya is the only character in game who openly wants to destroy everything. She asks the Player to make her ascend so that she could spread chaos even at the higher plane of existence.

* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: Constantly tells crazy stories about he vision of the world, to the point that most of her dialogues are nearly incomprehensible.

She accepts amber and violet. Her Brother is Pit, but it's implied that The Spirit was intended to become her Brother.

* LighterandSofter: Not only her chamber is a lighter counterpart to Yani's, it is the only chamber that has windows and is lit enough not to be scary. It is still decrepit, but looks more positive and hopeful than chambers of other sisters.

Ava's Brother. He is friendly enough and Considers the Spirit to be a good person, but obeys the Void's rules nevertheless, meaning that he is as dangerous as other Brothers.

* FullFrontalAssault: since the game is in first-person, you never really see the player character... until you go into your menus to manage your stuff. Then you get to see a nondescript, featureless, naked male person floating in a void.

* DistressedDamsel: they're stuck in their chambers, their powers and free will restricted by [[CensorSteam chains]] and can only beg/trick/seduce you into freeing them.
* GreyAndGrayMorality: they seem like helpless damsels under duress, imprisoned by cruel captors, but many of them are just using you or are apathetically waiting to die.
* InnocentFanserviceGirl: the majority of them are naked and they don't seem to mind or notice. You can even take away the [[CensorSteam Censor Chains]] by giving them colour. Only [[TheVamp Ava]] really seems to notice.

* ToxicPhlebotinum: certain colours hurt and will eventually kill certain sisters, and damages their chambers.
* VideoGameCaringPotential: giving them colour and freeing them makes them happier and more responsive.
* VideoGameCrueltyPotential: poisoning them.

The Sister who lies in a boat suspended above the water. She accepts emerald and silver colours, but is poisoned by amber and crimson. Her Brother is Mantid.

She accepts violet and amber, but is poisoned by gold and azure. Her Brother is Whaler.

* TheTease: promises you a "reward" for giving her more colour, which also removes her censorship.

* FacialMarkings: white/blue curving lines that go from her forehead, over her eyes, down to her chin. She also has some sort of symbol on her forehead.

* OlderThanTheyLook: she has been waiting for The Spirit to arrive since she came into existence, to the point The Spirit looks old enough to be her dad. But Sisters aren't actually "born" until they reach the Surface, so that may be why.

* BerserkButton: there are a large number of things that can set them off, including giving the Sisters too much colour.
* BlueAndOrangeMorality: tying in with BerserkButton, the way they think and operate is a bit weird in our perspective.

* BossBanter: many of them will monologue while fighting you, and they usually don't stop.
* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: all of the Brothers are rather abusive to their Sisters, and refer to the Sisters as bloodthirsty beasts that must be put down for their own good and for the good of others. It's like [[MenAreBetterThanWomen they don't think women are actual people]] [[DomesticAbuse or something]].
* GreyAndGrayMorality: the majority of them are huge jerks, but many of them are just trying to protect what they care about; sometimes this includes you.

Uta's Brother. He is relatively nice to the Spirit, willing to tolerate him and give him a chance.

* BladeOnAStick: his main weapons, and what's mostly keeping him together. He also uses these as stilts, to walk around on, to make up for his lack of legs.
* HumanPincushion: he is impaled in multiple places. See BladeOnAStick.
* ImpossibleTask: likes to request these.

Ava's Brother

* FlunkyBoss: he has floating heads that accompany him.
* GlassCannon: a peculiar case in that the longer it takes for you to fight him, the easier he is to kill. His vulnerability wheel never falls off, so it's possible to OHKO him.
* LosingYourHead: of a sort. While his head's no longer on his neck, he hasn't lost it; it's strapped to his back.
* SurrealSymbolicHeads: his head is replaced with some sort of ornate metal spire.
* TimedMission/ NonStandardGameOver: during his fight, he'll try to attach floating heads to himself. Once he gets all four, it's GameOver.

Una's Brother, one of the nicer and calmer Brothers

* BigBrotherMentor: of a sort. He really cares about you and does try to help you sometimes.
* CarryABigStick: his main weapon, which he also uses to operate the wheels that substitute for his legs.
* DrivenToSuicide: implied, should you choose to fight him.
* MeaningfulName: he is the eldest Brother.

Ire's Brother

* StationaryBoss: he can teleport, but will otherwise remain in place until he can teleport again.

Eli's Brother

* NaturalWeapon: uses the [[BigFreakingGun gun turrets]] on his body to attack.

* FlunkyBoss: this is the only way he can hurt you. He's accompanied by a bunch of rolling balls, similar to the one he uses to move around.
