They accomplish While this by harnessing would seem to make them a much-needed ally for Mulder (and humanity), they care nothing about humans, only destroying the power Colonists (and their pawns) ''by any means necessary''. Their favorite method of fire.attack is by burning their targets to death with a specialized weapon, and they're of the same species as the Alien Bounty Hunters.

* AlienBlood: When killed like the other aliens, there is a green ooze inside them. Though unlike the colonists, their blood isn't toxic to humans.
* AliensAreBastards: They are fighting the colonists trying to colonize Earth, but the way they do it almost makes them as bad as the colonists. Such as their ruthless burning of abductees... though given we find out the colonists were turning them into alien-human hybrids and alien Super Soldiers to serve them all along, as foot soldiers of the colonists, their actions are more understandable.

* BewareTheSillyOnes: He's a bit of...okay, he's a ''lot'' of an eccentric and few take him seriously due to his obsession with aliens, belief in conspiracies and his generally odd behavior. But piss him off and you'll discover that he's also an extremely skilled agent and profiler who can tear your life apart if he wishes and he's a trained FBI agent who knows how to handle himself in a fight if he has to.
