* HeroicSacrifice: Deconstructed. As Ramses points out, Juno's willingness to throw his life away for the greater good isn't from a sense of nobility - it's because he simply doesn't value himself or his life very much.
* HopelessWithTech: Juno can play solitaire on a computer, but that's about it. He attributes this to not having any of this while he was a child.
* ImprobableAimingSkills: Juno has ''really'' good aim. Only gets better with the Theia Spectrum.
* ItsAllAboutMe: An interesting twist. Juno tends to blame himself for everything, something Sasha Wire calls him out for when he tries to take the blame for her sister Annie's accidental death when they were children, telling him that he uses his own misery to ignore others and justify his lifestyle.

* KnightInSourArmor: Is dedicated to making Hyperion City a better place, but is intensely cynical.
* NotStayingForBreakfast: Leaves Nureyev in the middle of the night at the end of Season 1, despite saying he'd leave to travel the galaxy with him.
* OddFriendship: Is or was friends with a high ranking official in a secret intelligence agency, his high-energy tech genius secretary, a TV personality and her psychotic brother, and Mick Mercury.
* PsychicPowers: Thanks to the Martian pill.
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: On the receiving end from Sasha.
* StepfordSnarker: No matter how bad things get, Juno is ''always'' snarking. This includes on a reality TV show where the host is trying to kill him, on a train where he is being murdered by a criminal ''and'' poisonous gas, and in a Martian tomb where he was tortured by Miasma for several days, and just ''killed two people''. This is definitely a coping mechanism, for the ''numerous'' things that have gone horribly wrong, or are going wrong, in his life.

* TookALevelInKindness: Over the course of Season 2. He's still a DeadpanSnarker, but he learns to stop lashing out at the people around him.

** BrokenAce: By season 3, he's also depressed and bitter about Juno leaving him at the end of season 1, [[HeroicSafeMode trying to cope with decades of repressed trauma and failing miserably]], terrified of aging, and [[spoiler:in massive amounts of debt]].
* AgentPeacock: A very feminine gay man who also happens to be one of the best thieves in the galaxy.

The real version of the story is a lot different - Peter and his mentor Mag successfully disabled the superweapon that [[EvilColonialist New Kinshasa]] was using to oppress the people of Brahma, and then when Mag revealed his plans to capitalize on the situation and destroy New Kinshasa in its entirety, Peter killed Mag in order to save everyone in the city.

He's a ConMan who commits crimes on the regular, but whenever he finds himself in a situation where innocent people are going to be seriously hurt, he always ends up stepping in to do the right thing. He steals artifacts for Miasma until he realizes that her ultimate goal is to use them to commit genocide, then actively works to stop her, and in "Juno Steel and the Man in Glass", while he does steal from [[spoiler:Nova Zolotovna, he refuses to bleed her dry because he doesn't think she deserves it (even though doing so would instantly pay off his debts)]].
