* FemaleGaze: Most of her first impressions with Seiya are about being stunned with his appearance or muscular build. In particular, Rista barged in the room without knocking, only to catch sight of his six-pack abs.

* HasAType: She likes tall, muscle toned men with dark hair. Seiya fits this to a T. [[spoiler:The reason why is because she subconsciously remembers that she was his lover in her previous life.]]

* GratuitousEnglish: In the Japanese dub, his catchphrase is "ready perfectly".

* KnowWhenToFoldem: He knew he stood absolutely no chance fighting Seiya directly, so he sacrificed himself and his family to summon something that could.

* AuthorityEqualsAsskicking: Is the leader of the demon army and the strongest entity on Gaeabrande. Even outside of his OneWingedAngel form his immune to every attack by Seiya [[spoiler: except for Valhalla's Gate, and even then he nearly breaks out of it forcing Seiya to use a second one on him.]]

* HeroKiller: Is said to be invincible and can only be harmed by the sword Igzasion. [[spoiler: After Seiya's fight with Emperor Rosegaurd, it is made very clear he has little chance of beating the Demon Lord. Even with Ristarte's help, Seiya dies in the fight.]]

* IAmNotLeftHanded: His favorite tactic is to appear weaker than his opponent to analyze their fighting style, then reveal his true power and then overwhelm them.

* SelfDuplication: It can split and duplicate itself whenever someone attempts to cut it. Unlike most examples of this trope though, it never ''stays'' that way, as the duplicates always merge back with the real one a short time afterward.

* AwesomeButImpractical: His Meteor Strike spell is capable of destroying entire armies just one cast, but it's capacity for incredible destruction means it can't be used anywhere else other than an open plain far away from civizilation. Seiya never uses it again after wiping out Deathmagla's undead army for this reason.

* NoodleIncident: She mentions that she once summoned a ''Martian'' as a hero for a low-difficulty world and had to get them up to speed with the situation.

** She initially believes the tactics she used in low-difficulty worlds, such as level grinding in a weak area, will work against the demons of Gaeabrande and that Seiya's cautiousness is overkill. She's proven wrong when the demons of Gaeabrande turn out to be wise to the tactics that defeated their brethren in other worlds.

* WhiteMagicianGirl: Downplayed. She specializes in healing and usually means well, but she can also be petty when arguing with Seiya. There's a justification for this as well, [[spoiler:before she became the Goddess of Healing, she was the healer in Seiya's party back in Ixphoria]].

* CruelToBeKind: He intentionally pushes his allies away and refuses their help, since he doesn't want to risk them dying in battle. [[spoiler:Ariadoa later reveals to Ristarte that she summoned Seiya save Ixphoria 100 years back. Unfortunately he was reckless and charged into battle, hoping things worked out. It does until they defeat the Demon Lord, who turns out to have a 2nd life, and kills the exhausted party by eating them, including Tiana, Seiya's healer and lover who was pregnant at the time she was eaten. Though neither he, nor Ristarte who was a resurrected Tiana remember anything from Ixphoria, his extreme guilt at not planning ahead and preparing for contingencies carried over and triggered his "overly cautious" status.]]

* FreudianExcuse: Seiya's tendency to use ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill by repeating blowing up the ashes and corpses of the Demon Lord's minions at first seems comical due to his nature of being overly cautious. [[spoiler:However, this came about because when he was in Ixphoria 100 years prior, his lack of planning and gathering information ahead of time meant he didn't know that the Demon Lord of that world had a 2nd life, which revived him and let him kill off Seiya's exhausted party who barely defeated him the first time around. Consequently this carried over when his "Overly Cautious" status showed up the next time he was summoned in Gaeabrande.]]

** When faced against [[spoiler:Crossed Thanatus, an opponent that he cannot defeat head-on, Seiya runs across the Divine Realm in order to bait it and find someone capable of killing the monster.
