* TokenEvilTeammate: For Yggdrasil. Reina joins them after her bout with Jin, as he wants to keep an eye on her due to her displaying Mishima-style techniques. While she works with Yggdrasil seemingly with no intention of betraying or working to destabilize their plans, it's clear that she has her own agenda, which primarily involves awakening her own Devil Gene so she can rival Kazuya without any thought for Yggdrasil soldiers killed in the crossfire when an enraged Kazuya goes berserk and attacks her. For what it's worth, her Character Episode ending daydream does show her allied with her other relatives (Lars, Lee and Jin) in addition to Kuma and Victor, implying that she does have some fondness for them.

Added DiffLines:

* ImagineSpot: Her Character Episode seems to conclude with her daydreaming. She wins the tournament to become the new head of the Mishima Zaibatsu and crushes Kazuya underfoot with an EvilLaugh...only to cut back to the tournament right before the final match where she says, "Just Kidding."

* TakingTheBullet: A rare non-heroic example. When True Devil Kazuya scorches the battlefield with his Devil Beam, she hurls herself in the way, not to protect anyone; mind you, just to try to use the near-death experience to activate her dormant Devil Gene. It works.

More specific trope.

* BitchInSheepsClothing: The first we see of her in the story she acts very cheery and formal to Jin, though her inner monologue later on has her talking in a much more menacing and ruder tone. And while she does ally with Yggdrasil, she has her own plans of cultivating the Devil gene within her to take vengeance on Heihachi's death, which she succeeds in. In regular matches, she shows a lot of arrogance in her skill and will talk down on certain opponents, namely her relatives.

* SmugSmiler: Is constantly sporting a devilish grin in every moment she's shown, and has the ArrogantKungFuGirl attitude to match. Like father, like daughter.
* SmugSuper: She has an incredibly high opinion of her own strength, but considering that she's the first person in the entire cast that proves capable of standing up against the likes of True Devil Kazuya for some time, it isn't unwarranted.
* TheSpook: No one knows ''anything'' about her beyond the fact that she is a student from Mishima Polytechnical, the same college Jin went to. Not only does she use this to her advantage, she later reveals that she's actually Heihachi's illegitimate daughter, making her ''another'' Mishima.

* TeensAreMonsters: Being the illegitimate daughter of a powerful and corrupt businessman who hosts a worldwide martial arts tournament, it goes without saying that Reina embodies Heihachi's ruthless to extreme degrees, and being another carrier of the Devil Gene, she's literally a devil doing the impression of a ''teenager''.

"Super Spy CQB" isn't even a real martial arts period. Strikes as a misuse in a clearly fantastic fighting style.

Yggdrasil is spelled with one 'l' at the end, not two.

Her true identity is that of the illegitimate daughter of Heihachi and an unknown woman. She enters the tournament with ulterior motives, coercing Jin into allowing her to join the ranks of Yggdrasill to fight against Kazuya and G Corporation. Though she successfully feigns camaraderie with the rest of Yggdrasill, she seems strangely fixated on fighting Kazuya and potentially dying by his hand, carefully and intently listening in on their discussions about the Devil Gene. After Kazuya absorbs Azazel's power and becomes True Devil Kazuya and appears in the final battlefield between Yggdrasill and G Corporation, she intentionally takes a blast from one of his lasers, seemingly dying in the process, but not long afterward she awakens with her eyes glowing red -- the mark of a Devil. After awakening her Devil Gene, she begins her plans to take control of the Mishima Zaibatsu, to carry on the work of her father.

* ObfuscatingStupidity: In her interactions with others, she puts on a more foolish and silly persona, such as telling Jin that she learned the Mishima style by "copying it off the internet" rather than revealing her heritage. She also only joins Yggdrasill and [[NotInThisForYourRevolution plays along with being an ally to them]] just so she can be put in a near-death situation, in order to awaken her latent Devil Gene.

She attacks where she jams her knee into the opponent's back to trip them up, up and slams their chest against the ground, and grinds ground while grinding her foot into their back, laughing maniacally all the while.during her choke hold grab, and an ''epic'' one that's a dead ringer for Heihachi's during her Character Episode ending. Notably unlike Heihachi, her take on his iconic laugh borders on NoblewomansLaugh.

The laconic for this trope reads: "A blond Ace with a Cool Mask and a Red Baron title who usually has a rivalry with The Hero." ....which doesn't sound like Reina, and the latter half of this write-up argues with itself, suggesting a "however" alternative point. I feel this is a shoehorn.

* CharClone: A variant. Unlike Lars, Reina is a straightforward example; a {{Hidden Agenda Villain}}ess who exudes a very evil aura and is Heihachi's daughter, making her [[CainAndAbelAndSeth both Kazuya and Lars' sister]]. A practitioner of Mishima-style Karate that neither active member(s) of the Mishima bloodline have no knowledge of, and her character epithet is titled "Purple Lightning". Additionally, she sports a red oni-themed faceguard in her alternate costume. On the other hand, Reina acts more like [[Anime/MobileSuitZetaGundam Haman]] [[Anime/MobileSuitGundamZZ Karn]] as opposed to Char himself, as she is, if anything, considered to be Char's DistaffCounterpart in every way, right down to their shrewd and ambitious personality and goal to bring the Zabi family back into power for Haman, and preserving Heihachi's legacy for Reina, respectively.
