* AvengingTheVillain: She appears to have a grudge with Kazuya because he killed Heihachi, their father and one of the series' villainous characters.

* TokenEvilTeammate: For Yggdrasil. Reina joins them after her bout with Jin, as he wants to keep an eye on her due to her displaying Mishima-style techniques. While she works with Yggdrasil seemingly with no intention of betraying or working to destabilize their plans, it's clear that she has her own agenda, which primarily involves awakening her own Devil Gene so she can rival Kazuya without any thought for Yggdrasil soldiers killed in the crossfire when an enraged Kazuya goes berserk and attacks her. For what it's worth, her Character Episode ending daydream does show her allied with her other relatives (Lars, Lee and Jin) in addition to Kuma and Victor, implying that she does have some fondness for them.

* SmugSmiler: Is constantly sporting a devilish grin in every moment she's shown, and has the ArrogantKungFuGirl attitude to match. Like father, like daughter.
* SmugSuper: She has an incredibly high opinion of her own strength, but considering that she's the first person in the entire cast that proves capable of standing up against the likes of True Devil Kazuya for some time, it isn't unwarranted.
* TheSpook: No one knows ''anything'' about her beyond the fact that she is a student from Mishima Polytechnical, the same college Jin went to. Not only does she use this to her advantage, she later reveals that she's actually Heihachi's illegitimate daughter, making her ''another'' Mishima.

* AWolfInSheepsClothing: The first we see of her in the story she acts very cheery and formal to Jin, though her inner monologue later on has her talking in a much more menacing and ruder tone. And while she does ally with Yggdrasil, she has her own plans of cultivating the Devil gene within her to take vengeance on Heihachi's death, which she succeeds in. In regular matches, she shows a lot of arrogance in her skill and will talk down on certain opponents, namely her relatives.

* TeensAreMonsters: Being the illegitimate daughter of a powerful and corrupt businessman who hosts a worldwide martial arts tournament, it goes without saying that Reina embodies Heihachi's ruthless to extreme degrees, and being another carrier of the Devil Gene, she's literally a devil doing the impression of a ''teenager''.

* TeensAreMonsters: Being one the illegitimate daughter of a powerful and corrupt businessman who hosts a worldwide martial arts tournament, it goes without saying that Reina embodies Heihachi's ruthless to extreme degrees, and she's still basically a ''teenager''.

* AvengingTheVillain: She appears to have a grudge with Kazuya because he killed Heihachi, their father and a one of the series' villainous characters. .

* ArtisticLicenseMartialArts: Make no mistake, that fighting style of his doesn't even remotely resemble "Super Spy CQB". It's ninjitsu in all but name, right down to the usage of a high-tech katana alongside hidden knives and a pistol.

* AvengingTheVillain: She appears to have a grudge with Kazuya because he killed Heihachi, their father and a villain.

Her true identity is that of the illegitimate daughter of Heihachi and an unknown woman. She enters the tournament with ulterior motives, coercing Jin into allowing her to join the ranks of Yggdrasill to fight against Kazuya and G Corporation. Though she successfully feigns camaraderie with the rest of Yggdrasill, she seems strangely fixated on fighting Kazuya and potentially dying by his hand, carefully and intently listening in on their discussions about the Devil Gene. After Kazuya absorbs Azazel's power and becomes True Devil Kazuya and appears in the final battlefield between Yggdrasill and G Corporation, she intentionally takes a blast from one of his lasers, seemingly dying in the process, but not long afterward she awakens with her eyes glowing red -- the mark of a Devil. After awakening her Devil Gene, she begins her plans to take control of the Mishima Zaibatsu, to carry on the work of her father.

* ObfuscatingStupidity: In her interactions with others, she puts on a more foolish and silly persona, such as telling Jin that she learned the Mishima style by "copying it off the internet" rather than revealing her heritage. She also only joins Yggdrasill and [[NotInThisForYourRevolution plays along with being an ally to them]] just so she can be put in a near-death situation, in order to awaken her latent Devil Gene.

* EvilLaugh: Does several of these but most notably, in one of her stomp attacks. She jams her knee into the opponent's back to trip them up, slams their chest against the ground, and grinds her foot into their back, laughing maniacally all the while.

Reina is a [[PurpleIsPowerful purple-themed]] DarkActionGirl introduced later in the franchise's run, on top of being a massive BloodKnight with a penchant of stomping down their opponents, wanting {{Revenge}} on the BigBad for the death of her father ([[EvilVersusEvil albeit while being evil herself]]), and [[WildCard playing both sides of the conflict she's involved in for her own ends]].
