The "Big Sleep" trope refers to characters dying with their eyes closed. The one you probably wanted was "Rip Van Winkle."

** He's also got some similarities to the various incarnations of [[VideoGame/TheLegendofZelda Link]]. He grew up as the only human in a village of spirits (Ocarina of Time), he's the successor to a line of heroes, it's been a while since the last hero showed up (Wind Waker), and he has a mystical sword with a spirit tied to it (Skyward Sword). The pattern grew even stronger from the opposite direction when Link picked up Sorey's BigSleep in Breath Of The Wild.

Misuse of Adapational Jerkass. Sorey isn't a jerk at all and the person who added this clearly is using it as a way to skirt past YMMV to be negative about Sorey.

In the anime it is specifically stated that no one ever figured out that dragons could be purified because no one ever tried to do so. The anime's continuity and the game's continuity aren't the same.
