!!Fern Wilder

An associate of Kharl's from the Expedition. She's spontaneous and laid-back, but he main focus in Atlas is protecting the people living there from the Legion, Outlaws, and whoever else might threaten them. She specializes in biology, but is passionate and fascinated by science of all kinds. She joins Starlink on Vylus after defeating their first Prime.

* GranolaGirl: Has the look and the love of nature, but subverts it by having a keen intellect and thirst for science.
* WomenAreWiser: Wants to destroy [[spoiler:The Anvil]] while Kharl wants to activate it. Taking Kharl's advice leads to [[spoiler:a version of the ''Equinox'' from an alternate timeline appearing, stealing it, and disappearing]] while Fern berates him for his rash, end-justify-the-means attitude.

!!Galla Joust

A mantis-like, six-armed Vigilante who heads the Armory on Vylus. She has a strong sense of justice and fights to protect the Prospectors. She and her crew defeated the first Prime make planetfall, but she was the only survivor. After showing the Starlink team the ropes on establishing defense forces on the planets in Atlas, she joins as a pilot to avenge her comrades.

* {{Foil}}: Far more idealistic and compassionate than Eli, though they both have a strong sense of honor.
* TheHero: She's straight to the point about her choice to defend Altas - it's the right thing to do, and the only way the Expedition will get enough research done to make the system safe. Eli tells her she'll end up giving up on all of that when she gets to be his age, but she pushes back that maybe he's just forgotten what it means to believe in something.

!!Rankor
A bombastic Krakna Outlaw who the Starlink crew run into a few while traveling between planets early on, he just sort of joins the crew after disappearing for a short time. An enthusiastic looter, he tried to start his own gang but it never grew beyond him and Startail. He's gruff and nasty, but has a lot of respect for underdogs clawing their way up and shows mercy to scrappy, green fighters.

* BloodKnight: Not to the extent of some other Outlaws, but he loves the thrill of combat. The difference is, he respects the little guys trying to make names for themselves and doesn't hold a grudge if he loses... usually.
* BoistrousBruiser: He's loud and mean and loves a good fight.

!!Startail
A young Outlaw who joined up with Rankor. Not too much is known about her, other than her love of explosives and confusion tactics. She follows her boss when he joins up with Starlink, more or less unannounced. In combat, she can use explosives that are effective at taking out densely packed enemies like Imp swarms or Outlaws that sit too close together.

* BloodKnight: If she finds Outlaws from another faction or Legion robots, she's all too excited to start blasting things to cinders. She's also the one who informs the player of the Sloop Tank's weaknesses, apparently being very familiar with tearing them to shreds.
--> '''Startail:''' "That's a homing mine! You can send them back, if you don't want 'em. Heh heh."
