* BigBad: He is the main antagonist of "Journey to the Dark Head", which focuses on his pursuit of the protagonists, Ara and Toul, during which he tries to convert Toul.

* MaybeMagicMaybeMundane: She moves like a Jedi with her dancing and fighting being beyond human abilities, and at one point even casually blocked blaster bolts with her weapon, said weapon being a long a retractable stiletto blade that looks and acts like a Lightsaber minus the glow and heat. She even has a Padawan like apprentice in Hétis, but is never shown using the force nor referred to as a Jedi.
* ParachutePetticoat: Loi'e and Hétis have voluminous robes/silks which can act as parachutes to slow their descent from high up to the floor.

* AerithAndBob: Where Loi'e and Hétis have alien looking spellings of French names, Jon is just Jean spelled Anglophonically.

* MissingChild: He is [[spoiler: revealed to be the missing child of Loi'e, abducted in his youth by a white-uniformed Imperial officer.]]

However, his words to Livy and the kyber crystal he gave her inspire the people of the pit to cry out to follow the light and the city folks to rescue them, and later, it is implied that Livy connects to the crystal as it stands up on point in her hand and turns blue.]]

She starts in a wasteland created by the ancient Sith bleeding the kyber crystals of an entire world, she jumps across a chasm to answer the CallToAdventure, she is a literal rabbit person entering a magical world down a hole, and her apotheosis sets of a WorldHealingWave which purifies the kyber in the planet on at least a regional scale.

* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Kratu is somewhat impassive and regal in her bearing, but with Aau, she is curious, compassionate, and generous in giving her two weeks to chose, rather than just immediately hauling her off to the Jedi temple never to be seen again like Anakin and Ahsoka were.
