* AdaptationalSympathy: The ''Legends'' version of [=9D9=] was not only a lot crueler than her canon counterpart was shown to be, she had a criminal record that included terrorism on Cloud City and predated joining Jabba's criminal empire. In Canon, not only is that larger criminal record non-existent, she subconsciously longs for her previous life and Jabba has been preventing her from growing beyond her error-induced sadism through constant memory wipes. After meeting R2-D2, she not only enables his plan, she loses some of her sadism, realizes droids gain their feelings and fears through memories and experience, and sets up a memory wipe blocker to gain her own freedom. In fact, she's now in charge of the old cantina in Mos Eisley and stands up for R5-D4.
