* SamusIsAGirl: Horrifically deconstructed. To Zolph, her gender wasn't immediately obvious until Maesterus pointed it out, but according to her sister, Grein, Emilin wasn't androgynous or flat-chested and her breasts were cut off sometime after her possession.

[[folder:Ilen Kosar]]
!!General Ilen Kosar

A Zabrak general who participated in the Battle of Christophsis. His loyalty is challenged after Emperor Valkor orders the annihilation of all life on the planet.

* AntiVillain: Kosar only antagonizes Zolph because [[IHaveYourWife Valkor threatened to eat his family if he didn't]].
* BenevolentBoss: He understands that some of his men have been demoralized by the annihilation of Christophsis, and as such, that they'd be unwilling to fight for Valkor after that. On the flipside, he does not tolerate infighting, and executes one of his men after said soldier tried to kill Private Varson for not wanting to kill Zolph.
* BetterToDieThanBeKilled: Discussed between him and Zolph. He points that if Zolph were to be taken in alive, Valkor would probably torture him further or eat him (which would be a FateWorseThanDeath). As such, he chooses to have their encounter be a battle to the death for one or the other.
* EveryoneHasStandards: He was clearly disgusted by what Valkor had done to Christophsis. He also does not tolerate infighting among his men. He only chooses to serve Valkor because his family was in danger.
* ExactWords: Valkor threatened to eat his family if he didn't comply with his orders to capture or kill Zolph. He's not happy about serving Valkor either, so he lets Zolph kill him once he gets close enough. When Valkor tries to have Kosar's family brought to him anyway, Maesterus reminds him that Kosar died while serving Valkor, and as such, his family should be spared.
* AFatherToHisMen: He offers Private Varson a chance to flee when he sees how stressed he is by the annihilation of Christophsis. As he's dying, he asks Zolph to spare his men, especially those that didn't want to continue serving Valkor.
* IHaveYourWife: The only reason he continued to serve Valkor following the annihilation of Christophsis was that Valkor used his family as a bargaining chip and threatened to eat him if he didn't try to do anything about Zolph.
* ImperialStormtrooperMarksmanshipAcademy: Invoked. He's ready to shoot Zolph at point-plank range, but misses on purpose to let Zolph kill him while trying to appear to make an effort.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: He's only relevant for one scene before being killed off, but his actions in that scene were enough to have a part in the formation of the Seferite Order.
* SuicideByCop: He lets Zolph kill him once he gets close enough. He didn't want to serve Valkor anymore, but if he survived and let Zolph live, he'd put his family in danger.

[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/emperor_valkor.jpg]]

The recognized leader of the Valkoran Empire. However, He's using the Valkoran as a proxy cult for the Forceless Collective, his ultimate empire.

* AGodAmI: As part of his promises to end all pointless conflict, he wants the entire universe to recognize him as the only deity it needs. Considering [[EldritchAbomination what he is]], he could almost pass for a god. This may also stem from his creator, Hazral Vangeli, trying to pass him off as one of Muriga's gods taking physical form.
* AxCrazy: He's usually very reserved, but if he gets agitated enough and his eyes become visible, he can get rather sadistic. He even tries to torture Zolph before killing him, including [[OffWithHisHead trying to have Mortaqa cut his head off]] [[CruelAndUnusualDeath slowly]].
* BadassCape: He wears a cape all the time [[spoiler: until his robotic body is cut in half]].
* BadBoss: After a failed attempt to execute Zolph, he snaps and [[IHaveYourWife threatens to eat one of his generals' family]] if he doesn't try to capture or kill Zolph. When said general dies trying to kill Zolph, Valkor tries to order the family to be eaten anyway, but Maesterus persuades him not to lest [[ZeroPercentApprovalRating he lose even more popularity]] after [[MoralEventHorizon killing everyone on Christophsis]]. After that incident, he's trying to avoid that behavior to keep his troops on his side but it's too little too late and he loses half his empire.
* BigBad: For the entire ''Paranormalities'' trilogy. However, the prologue of Episode III suggests that the real Valkor Vangeli is just a decoy Herald and his name is being used as an alias by an entity known as Yalbdalaoth, possibly the symbiote.
* BishonenLine: Zigzagged when it comes to his form progression in the Battle of Ockla Prime. His first form is a moderately menacing robotic humanoid form that occasionally oozes Black Matter and does something gross. His second form is a grotesque, formless BlobMonster with incredibly chaotic anatomy and uses half his first form as an interactive puppet. His final form, the colossus, is a bit more elegant but still lovecratian in appearance, and with a base that takes up the entirety of the capital's lowest levels.
* BlackHoleBelly: In fact, his "stomach" seems to be another dimension entirely, [[AndIMustScream where the life-forces of every person he's eaten is stored]], and that falls into the millions range. In fact this stomach, the Pool of Souls, is connected to his Forceless Collective as a whole, which eats any possession victims who have died while being possessed.
* BodySnatcher: According to Admon Onae, Valkor [[spoiler: Vangeli is not the one really in charge of the Forceless Collective. The real Valkor is being used as a decoy Herald by [[AbusiveParents Hazral Vangeli]] and the lead symbiote, Yalbdalaoth. In other words, all those avatars he's used were really all avatars of Yalbdalaoth.]]
* BrokenPedestal: He was once heavily revered thoughout the Valkoran Empire, but after the annihilation of Christophsis, half of the Valkoran Empire defected in disgust and under Maesterus's leadership, founded what would eventually become the Seferite Order.
* TheCaligula: Subverted, as [[DefiedTrope Valkor deliberately tries to avoid coming off as one]], but after [[spoiler: killing everyone on Christophsis to psychologically torment Zolph]], having a VillainousBreakdown and threatening to eat one of his generals' family, he starts playing this trope almost straight. After the campaign, Maesterus advises him not to take it further lest he [[ZeroPercentApprovalRating lose any more public approval]] (even lampshading his descent into madness by comparing him to Masochus), to which Valkor ultimately agrees, as he tries to avoid killing any more civilian populations when achieving victories through Mortaqa, not that it does anything to win their favor back. Suffice to say, while he is undoubtedly insane, he's still far more functional and competent than Masochus.
* CastingAShadow: Not exactly shadows, but the Black Matter coming from his body can work like this.
* ColdBloodedTorture: He decides to inflict a bit of this on Zolph before trying to kill him, as Zolph has been nuisance to him for years now that it would be unsatisfying for him to just kill outright.
* CombatTentacles: One way he uses the Dark Matter coming from his body.
* CombatPragmatist: He has lightsaber-resistant claws, and he defeats General Ven Choi in a duel the General initially seems to be doing well in by simply ripping his respirator mask off his face. He's also [[DefiedTrope not above attacking people]] [[TalkingIsAFreeAction while they are conversing with him or anyone else over comlink]].
* CoolMask: His face underneath his mask is made completely of Black Matter while his head is a blank robotic head module.
* TheDreaded: When he's about to show up, most people react with fear.
* EldritchAbomination: Don't be fooled by [[HumanoidAbomination his initial shape]]. That's just a robotic shell containing his true form, which could be described as an infinitely expanding pool of Black Matter. He heavily emphasizes the Eldritch part after Maesterus cuts his shell in half and when he turns himself into a colossus. [[spoiler: And the avatar on Ockla Prime was one for Yalbdalaoth, the lead symbiote of his Forceless Collective.]]
* EvilerThanThou: Gestroma learned this the hard way.
* ExtraEyes: He can generate lots of these, especially outside his robotic body.
* FateWorseThanDeath: Being EatenAlive by him and trapped in the Pool of Souls can be considered this.
* FauxAffablyEvil: He's very soft-spoken and polite, but inside, he's a remorseless sadist. For example, he tauntingly commends Zolph for resisting his attempts to bring him over the DespairEventHorizon.
* FemmeFatalons: A male example ([[EldritchAbomination if you consider him male]]), and on a mechanical body.
* GalacticConqueror: He doesn't rule the main Star Wars galaxy, but he has already conquered several others in the course of a thousands of years.
* HalfTheManHeUsedToBe: Maesterus diagonally bisects his humanoid body. However, since said body is just a shell, it hardly fazes him.
* ImAHumanitarian: He may be about the size of human being, but he's capable of devouring other people his size. Unfortunately, [[AndIMustScream those eaten alive by don't become one with the Force]], but are kept in a pseudo-afterlife he calls the [[{{Room101}} Pool of Souls]]. It's also suggested that [[ForTheEvulz he doesn't eat people for nourishment and prefers to eat them alive, when they haven't become one with the Force yet]].
-->'''Valkor:''' Don't give me that look, dear. It isn't cannibalism if we're not the same species.
* KickTheDog: He was the one who ordered Dynn Manthis's [[BodyHorror mutation]]. He also murders an entire planet just to psychologically torment Zolph and let him know how he's going to kill him, and he kills Maesterus in a disturbingly elaborate fashion for all on Ockla Prime to see.
* KickTheSonOfABitch:
** Subverted when he ordered the genocide of the Kur'Ada Equalists and then devoured their leader alive. Sure, the Kur'Ada were a group of [[ANaziByAnyOtherName anti-Force sensitive terrorists]], but they began to realize how evil Valkor was, and [[AndIMustScream what he did to Mursama]] is [[FateWorseThanDeath far worse than killing her]]. Then he tries to order Maesterus to bring the rest of the survivng Kur'Ada over to him to be eaten, including the civilians.
** However, he plays it straight when he assimilates Gestroma into his Forceless Collective. He also plays it straight again when he places a sleeper symbiote inside of Masochus and refuses to help regenerate his body when Grein and Armogeist are about to kill him.
* KnightOfCerebus: Even though he didn't make an appearance yet, his name being mentioned in the last chapters of Episode I makes it pretty clear that not only is Maesterus not the BigBad, Valkor is an even bigger threat. When he first appears in "The Enforcer", he greatly demonstrated that not everyone in the Valkoran Empire is an AntiVillain. He then takes it up a notch in "The Weapon".
* LovecraftianSuperpower: Just having Black Matter for most of your abilities qualifies for this.
* MalevolentMaskedMan: A mask that also doubles as a face of sorts.
* MoralEventHorizon: Deconstructed in-universe. Several Valkoran soldiers grow disillusioned with their loyalty to him after they witness him order the annihilation of Christophsis. Even Maesterus tells him he's crossing a line (for specifics, this is the first time the Valkoran Empire has committed planetary genocide in its four-thousand-year history), and it's confirmed one month later at the end of "Facade" that half the Valkoran Empire has defected.
* NiceJobFixingItVillain:
** If he had just ordered Mortaqa to kill only the Galactic Alliance forces on Christophsis and not the civilian population as well and [[WhyDontYouJustShootHim just killed Zolph quickly]] instead of [[ColdBloodedTorture torturing him]], he wouldn't have lost half his empire's loyalty and Ockla Prime wouldn't be vulnerable to a full-scale invasion from the Alliance.
** As Maesterus points out, had Valkor not sent him to kill his own descendants (banking on the hope that Maesterus forgot who he was over four-thousand years) and sent someone else to do the deed, Maesterus might not have actively conspired against Valkor and started a war to get the Galactic Alliance and Jedi Order's attention and get the Valkoran Empire's activity on the galactic radar.
* NightmareFace: Concept art shows he doesn't actually have a physical face, but rather one made from Black Matter. When he does take his mask in front of Maesterus, he's deliberately trying to invoke this.
* NightmareFuelStationAttendant: Suffice to say, a lot of people in-universe are scared of this guy, even without knowing exactly what he's capable of.
* NotSoStoic: He's usually calm, but when he snaps, [[ChewingTheScenery he can be shouting at the top of his lungs]].
* ObviouslyEvil: Even when most of the Valkoran are sympathetic, this guy just screams bad news from the get go.
* OhCrap: He has a very subtle one when Zolph is able to properly control his Force channeling for once and fails to stop Zolph from completing the transformation, as Zolph now has the power to destroy him.
* OneWingedAngel: He does this twice in the Battle of Ockla Prime. First, after his robotic body gets cut in half, revealing his true form. Then, he assimilates the severed head of the Ragnirathan and a few other Forceless to turn himself into a Black Matter colossus with a base that floods the surface level of the capital.
* OrcusOnHisThrone: Lampshaded by Maesterus and defied when he comes to Alpheridies. Just to note, if he ever gets off his throne, terrible things happen.
* PsychopathicManchild: He sometimes treats his actions like he's playing a game, which often leads him to drawing out the pain he inflicts on people. He'll only take the practical route if he realizes his own vices are causing problems for him. Also, if something doesn't go his way, he'll break his cool demeanor and lash out.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: Just like most Forceless. In fact, if his eyes become visible at all... RUN!
* SlasherSmile: Some of the Black Matter coming out of him sport these.
* SmugSnake: He's very arrogant and condescending, but when you are commanding one of the biggest armies in the universe and are a near-unstoppable demigod, you can't blame him for being smug. This is also subverted in that he acknowledges that he can and has made mistakes before, and he acknowledges the power and resolve of certain individuals. He's also more competent than most examples of this trope.
* TheSociopath: LackOfEmpathy? Check. [[ItsAllAboutMe Self-serving]]? Check. [[ManipulativeBastard Manipulative and influential of others]]? Check. Sadistic? Check. He's a high-functioning example of this.
* SoftSpokenSadist: When he's not visibly angry, he can off as this.
* TimeAbyss: He's even older than the Infinite Empire.
* TooManyMouths: He doesn't have a visible mouth on his robotic body, but he can generate mouths from the Black Matter.
* {{Troll}}: He really loves to push the buttons of any enemies he's emotionally tormented for a long time, such as his various attempts to break Zolph and treat them like something [[ButForMeItWasTuesday he does every day]]. During the Battle of Ockla Prime, he deactivates the elevator to his throne room (which is set atop the tallest building on the planet) just to make Zolph and Maesterus "tour the palace" (for the first time in four-thousand years in the latter's case).
* VillainousBreakdown: He has a rather notable one after a failed attempt to execute Zolph Vaelor.
* VillainWithGoodPublicity: According to Juganak, he has some followers that are [[PsychoSupporter fanatically loyal]] to him, especially if they were ''born'' in the Valkoran Empire. This changes after the annihilation of Christophsis, putting him between this and ZeroPercentApprovalRating and causing half the empire to defect.
* WouldHurtAChild: He tried to have Zolph killed when he was only thirteen years old, all because he was one of the few beings in the universe to have an immunity to Forceless possession, and thus could not be forced to serve him. He also undoubtedly killed a lot of children by ordering Mortaqa to LifeDrain all of Christophsis.

* KarmaHoudiniWarranty: Discussed in Episode II - Chapter 15. Even after the Valkoran Empire splits in two and Maesterus's faction made the HeelFaceturn, the latter is still guilty of several war crimes and acknowledge that they probably aren't going to get off scot-free just because they had an EnemyMine with the Galactic Alliance. However, Zolph Vaelor and Admiral Cephal discuss trying to get them some degree of amnesty, as they can't afford to have one of their potential allies bad crippled in the wake of the Forceless Collective.

* VillainDecay: By the time of Episode III, what's left of the Valkoran Empire isn't even pretending to be its own government. While some [[HeadInTheSandManagement rather incompetent Galactic Alliance politicians]] try to play them up as the biggest threat, Zolph and company acknowledge that ultimately, the Forceless Collective is at the top of the totem pole.

This Force-user led the attack that orphaned Zolph and is the public face of the Valkoran Empire. He served as the main antagonist for Episode I. He is also a long-lived ancestor of Zolph Vaelor's.

* AffablyEvil: A subversion. Throughout Episode I, he frequently asks for his enemies to stand down and actually attempted to ask for Alec's consent to train Zolph, and he tries to avoid killing people as much as possible. The subversion comes from him not really being so evil to begin with.
* AntiVillain: [[SlidingScaleOfAntiVillains A mix of Type I, III and IV]]. He is not even interested in ruling the galaxy. He only wishes the galaxy to have a more efficient government. And he's very suspicious of Valkor now.
* BadassCape: Which he continues wearing even after he grows his wings.
* BatmanCanBreatheInSpace: Possibly because of the Forceless symbiote.
* BenevolentBoss: He's very caring towards his men as well as his prisoners, but according to Doctor Thilid, he'll only kill his own men if they are posing an active threat from within or kill prisoners for no practical reason.
* BerserkButton: Killing prisoners or other BadBoss behavior. Also, DO NOT threaten those related to him either.
* BlackKnight: He's Valkor's top enforcer and wears a black suit of armor.
* BodyHorror / LovecraftianSuperpower: He can shoot spikes made from bones out of his palms, and the coverart typically shows his own blood running down these spikes. He also grows four pairs of wings by having them rip out of his back, and the second two out of his other wings. This is because of his Forceless symbiosis.
* CassandraTruth: Despite dressing as such, he's not really a Dark Jedi, but nobody affiliated with the Galactic Alliance or Jedi Order initially believes him when he insists that he isn't. When he tries to explain the circumstances of Alec Vaelor's death to Zolph, the latter doesn't initially believe that Maesterus had no intention of killing Alec. However, he is able to successfully relay this truth later.
* CoolHelmet: With a red visor, and it conceals the fact that he's related to Zolph.
* CruelAndUnusualDeath: After getting skewered through his arms, Valkor cuts off all of his wings before impaling him with multiple tentacles.
* DarkIsNotEvil: Despite looking like a stereotypical Sith Lord and being the most prominent villain in Episode I, he's not very Dark-Sided for a Force User nor is he really that evil to begin with.
* DarthVaderClone: Let's see... black armor? Check. Most prominent villain in the first part of the trilogy? Check. Blood ancestry to TheHero and very protective of them? Double check.
* DeadpanSnarker: [[LikeFatherLikeSon Like ancestor, like descendant]].
* DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu: He not only killed an Archfiend, he also defeated Zolph's dark Force Channeling form by waiting for it to wear off.
* DidYouJustFlipOffCthulhu: He's also willing to backtalk Valkor.
* DiscOneFinalBoss: He seems to be the main villain for Episode I, but he's really a pawn of Valkor's, and is now working on a HeelFaceTurn.
* DragonWithAnAgenda: To Valkor, although you wouldn't think this initially [[TheHeavy since he's the most prominent villain in Episode I]].
* EvenEvilHasStandards: He finds [[BrainFood Doctor]] [[TortureTechnician Thilid]] disgusting, making sure to point out that ''he'' didn't recruit her. He is even appalled by the idea that he would molest Zolph. He's also against mutating people, attaching symbiotes to them (even though he's a Forceless host himself), genocide and condemning people to [[AFateWorseThanDeath Fates Worse Than Death]]. These last few standards push him towards a HeelFaceTurn.
* AFatherToHisMen: And if you murder them, you will regret it, even if you're a [[EldritchAbomination Forceless Archfiend]].
* TheHeavy: The most active villain in Episode I, with most of his actions driving the plot.
* HeelFaceTurn: He still works with the Valkoran, but he does what he can to oppose Valkor without getting his attention. It comes full circle after the Valkoran Empire splits.
* HeroicSacrifice:
** Subverted in the climax of Episode I, where he flies Belluzub [[HurlItIntoTheSun into Krantisi's star]] [[PapaWolf after he threatened Zolph]]. However, he just launches him into the sun when he gets close enough and flies away.
** Played straight at the end of Episode II, where he leaves himself open to being skewered by several CombatTentacles when he saves Zolph from being crushed to death by Valkor, eventually resulting in his own death.
* HumanoidAbomination: He's not an abomination himself (he's just a possessed and altered human), but he's bearing a Forceless symbiote. Thankfully, he still has control of his body and isn't subservient to the Collective.
* LaserBlade: His lightsaber.
* LightningBruiser: Not only is he incredibly fast (especially with wings) and strong enough to lift an Archfiend a few times his size, he has survived a lot of punishment.
* LukeIAmYourFather: He is actually a distant ancestor of Zolph's.
* MadeOfIron: Every encounter Zolph's had with him, he's proved almost impossible to kill. He has survived getting thrown through a wall, hit by a piece of a large statue, thrown out a stories-high window, drenched in acid rain, shot by ship blaster fire and knocked into a lava pit, exposure to the vacuum of space and flying close to a star. He lampshades his tendency to survive things that would kill most people after Harphscor tries to kill him with a strong wind and Maesterus attacks him. However, Valkor manages to pierce his defenses and [[ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice do some fatal damage]].
* ObviouslyEvil: A deconstruction and subversion. Because he dresses so similarly to a Sith Lord, a lot of the Jedi and Galactic Alliance are quick to attack him on instinct despite not actually being a Sith (he'd rather negotiate peacefully with them). The subversion comes from the fact that he isn't really as evil as his appearance suggests.
* OneWingedAngel: Sprouts two pairs of [[WingedHumanoid wings]]. The first pair out of his back, [[SerialEscalation the second pair out of his first pair]].
* PapaWolf: Belluzub learned this the hard way about trying to kill Zolph. Also, don't try to harm Arcidus in front of him.
* ParentalSubstitute: To Arcidus, as not only did Aiken lose his parents at an early age, Seferin was the only Jedi to really understand the difficulties he was going through..
* RedEyesTakeWarning: His helmet has a red visor. Underneath his helmet, he has red eyes due to being a Forceless host.
* SpikeShooter: He can fire spikes made from bone out of his palms.
* StalkerWithoutACrush: He seems pretty obsessed with capturing/recruiting Zolph Vaelor. May have to do with their blood relationship.
* TheStarscream: A more benevolent example of this in that he's trying to overthrow Valkor because he knows he's dangerous.
* SuperStrength: He's apparently capable of lifting (and flying with) a Forceless Archfiend several times his size and capable of swallowing him whole.
* WingedHumanoid: Becomes one in Chapter 7 of Episode I. Grows two more wings on them in Chapter 10.

Another one of the Force Sensitive Valkoran leadership, this hulking Miraluka possess inhuman strength.

* AntiVillain: [[SlidingScaleOfAntiVillains Type IV]]. He's secretly conspiring against Valkor. Not to mention he also saved Zolph from being killed by a Force apparition.

* EnemyMine: He temporarily (temporary because he has to keep his true agenda hidden) teams up with Zolph to kill Mandoculus.
* EyelessFace: Underneath that mask.
* GeniusBruiser: He was also Maesterus's mentor.
* HeelFaceTurn: He sided with Maesterus when the Valkoran Empire split. That said, he was always wary of Valkor.
* HumanAlien: Miralukas are essentially humans born without eyes, but can "see" with the Force.
* LargeAndInCharge: He's big, well-toned, and commands a lot of respect from his troops.
* LightningBruiser: Really big, can take more punishment than most beings without armor, pretty fast, and strong enough to dismantle a vehicle with his bare hands.
* LoveMakesYouEvil: Defied. Despite once being Jedi Council member, he's surprisingly moderate when it comes to Jedi falling in love. He's aware of the negative temptations that can come with love, but he knows those temptations can be kept in check if the relationship is handled responsibly. That, and he's probably aware of [[LoveRedeems the opposite]] happening throughout galactic history.
* MadeOfIron: He has been shown to survive lightsaber slashes with just his muscles alone.
* OnlySaneMan: Compared to the other Valkoran leaders, he doesn't have any notably freakish traits (aside from SuperStrength) nor does he have lingering mental issues, aside from being Maesterus's mentor in the Jedi Order. This gets lampshaded by Armogeist.
* ReverseMole: Subverted. He still works directly for the Valkoran, but he's secretly suspicious of Emperor Valkor himself.
* ScaryBlackMan: [[HumanAlien Near-human]] example. He's calm and collected most of the time, but that doesn't change the fact that he's strong enough to rip an [[HumongousMecha AT-AT's]] leg off and bludgeon you with it.
* SuperStrength: Unknown whether this is Force-enhanced strength or [[CharlesAtlasSuperpower he's naturally that strong.]] Still he can dismantle an AT-AT with his bare hands, and that is nothing to sneeze at.

\nAnother one of See his entry on the Force Sensitive Valkoran leadership, this hulking Miraluka possess inhuman strength.

* AntiVillain: [[SlidingScaleOfAntiVillains Type IV]]. He's secretly conspiring against Valkor. Not to mention he also saved Zolph from being killed by a Force apparition.
* BaldOfAwesome: His head is completely shaved, exposing some tattoos on his scalp. He avoids being BaldOfEvil despite being with the Valkoran in the fact that he is one of the few secretly conspiring against Valkor.

* BlindSeer: Miraluka don't have eyes, so he sees with the Force.

A Twi'lek-Human hybrid from Dathomir suffering from severe brain damage since childhood, she had her lekku (her head-tails) replaced by Machinus and became his surrogate daughter. She has two different personalities.

* AbusiveParents: The Nightsisters. They are responsible for her forced lobotomy and they made her childhood really miserable.
* AffablyEvil: When her brain's working properly, she's pretty pleasant.
* AmazonBrigade: She was raised among the Nightsisters, but it's implied they never truly accepted her.
* AntiVillain: Type II. It's her abusive childhood with the Nightsisters that has made her mentally unstable without her prosthetic lekku. When she does have them, she can be really friendly.
* BadassAdorable: She's got a very bubbly personality ([[CuteAndPsycho at least when her lekku are working]]), but she's just capable of giving Zolph a challenge as the other Valkoran leaders.
* BareYourMidriff: The only not-so-modest thing about her attire.
* BreakTheCutie: Her backstory amounts to probably having her father killed, being lobotomized by her people under the pretense of having [[AlienHair "brain tumors"]], and being abused for being a half-breed.
* CloudCuckoolander: In both mental states, she can come off as very eccentric.
* CoolSword: Her lightsaber has a curved hilt like [[Film/AttackOfTheClones Count]] [[Film/RevengeOfTheSith Dooku's]].
* CuteAndPsycho: She's normally enthusiastic and socially upbeat until her lekku get damaged. [[AxCrazy Then she goes berserk]].
* {{Cyborg}}: Her lekku (the head-tails on Twi'leks) are cybernetic. For specifics, they are part of her brain and she needs them to stay mentally stable.
* DelayedReaction: When she's insane, she won't react to injuries recent received until minutes later, and it goes even further than that: she even reacts to all the previous injuries she's received throughout her life. Again, this a result of her brain damage.
* EvilAlbino: Due to being half Dathomirian, she's very pale compared to pure-blooded Twi'leks. Downplayed in that, violent split-personality aside, she's not really that evil, and drops the villain part completely when she sides with the Seferite Order.

* FriendlyEnemy: When she's sane, she's even hoping Zolph would join their side.
* GenkiGirl: Deconstructed. She's only really cheerful when her head-tails are functioning, but is very unstable when they're broken, and a result of having a very hellish childhood until Machinus found her.
* HalfHumanHybrid: She's half-human half-Twi'lek. This is what led to her brain damage when she was young.
* HandicappedBadass: She's not physically crippled, but she does have brain damage only kept in check by her replacement lekku.
* HeelFaceTurn: She sided with Maesterus after the Empire split, but according to her, she didn't just do it just because Machinus did.
* LargeHam: When her lekku gets damaged and [[CuteAndPsycho her other side]] crops up, she can milk the scenery for all it's worth. This is especially true in the Battle of Ockla Prime.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: Inverted. Neur is her real name, and unlike the other members of the Valkoran leadership (barring Dynn Manthis), she's the only one not to have a codename.
* TheSouthpaw: She's one of the only characters stated to be left-handed.
* [[GreenSkinnedSpaceBabe White Skinned Space Babe]]: Her skin's chalk-white unlike most Twi'leks (but then again, she's half-human, and she was raised with the Nightsisters).
* WomanChild: Deconstructed. She's biologically 21 years old (chronologically [[ReallySevenHundredYearsOld 400+ years]]), but due to the fact that her own people were violently abusive towards her and lobotomized her when she was little, she acts like a teenager to make up for her lost childhood under Machinus, and she turns into a PsychopathicWomanchild whenever her lekku is damaged or malfunctions. It is reconstructed after the Valkoran Empire splits in half and Neur confesses her reasons for acting this way to Zolph, resulting in her showing a degree of maturity when the Battle of Ockla Prime comes (however, her psychotic side is still around).
* WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds: Considering her backstory, she definitely qualifies.
* {{Yandere}}: She is this towards Zolph when she's in psycho mode. She thinks Grein is taking advantage of him [[InsaneTrollLogic just because she's there]]. Of course, this is partially justified due to the fact she grew up in a society of abusive misandrists. * BlackComedy: His existence is essentially dying over and over again.

** TheChewToy: Sometimes literally if his deaths involve getting eaten or chewed on.
** CosmicPlaything: While it's pretty obvious the whole galaxy is out to kill him, Zolph just assumes that the Force keeps killing him (sometimes to keep him from saying anything about it) and bringing him back for its own amusement after giving up on figuring it out.
* DyingMomentOfAwesome: He fills in for a squad of Skakoan Commandos to blow up a [=HyVel=] cannon full of Forceless, knowing that, unlike the Skakoans, he can always come back.
* HeelFaceTurn: He sided with Maesterus after the Empire split.
* MeaningfulName: The nickname "Phoenix", which he got after being promoted. Phoenixes can die as many times as they'd like and still rise from the ashes, [[TheyKilledKennyAgain just like Helms does]]. It's debatable whether it's an awesome name or an UnfortunateName.

Added DiffLines:

* {{Gonk}}: Even for a man without skin, his artwork depicts him as really ugly. This is implied to be a result of the inbreeding that created him.

Added DiffLines:

* HateSink: He was written to be, bar none, the most despicable member of the Valkoran Empire. He is not even the BigBad of any part of the story, yet he's also caused a lot of pain for some of the protagonists.

Added DiffLines:

* LastOfHisKind: He was the last pure-blooded member of the Sith species (whereas all other so-called "Sith Purebloods" were at least partially human) after he murdered his relatives, but this is only a result of eugenic inbreeding. By the time of the Valkoran War, he actually is the last of the Sith species.

Added DiffLines:

* RoyalInbreeding: He is the product of a Sith eugenics program to preserve the blood-purity of the Sith species.
* RoyallyScrewedUp: Because of the aforementioned inbreeding program, he's violently insane and [[SelfMadeOrphan murdered his parents]] and siblings. And [[TheCaligula then it got worse from there]] and eugenics program was completely shut down.

[[spoiler: Subverted later when General Choi reveals that she was sent as a ReverseMole [[GoodAllAlong to get a better understanding of the Valkoran Empire early in the war]], but she was unable to contact him after she got the Forceless arm.]]
* BackFromTheDead: [[spoiler: She was resurrected by Valkor sometime after the Battle of Krantisi, but it happened so far away from the galaxy that nobody knows about this for months. When Valkor tells Zolph about this at the end of Episode II, he only does so just to torment Zolph further (because Zolph suspects he's most likely [[BlatantLies lying]] [[HopeSpot just to crush his spirit later]] or [[CassandraTruth telling him the truth]] but taunting him with the unlikelihood he'll ever see her again (or if he does, [[YanktheDogsChain lose her again]]). Episode III's prologue reveals that the Forceless Collective revived her one month after Krantisi with the intent of using her as a psychological weapon against Zolph again. However, she wasn't letting it happen that time and escaped with Admon Onae and few other Sleheyron victims.]]
* BadassTransplant: Her Forceless arm gives her a whip. Unfortunately for her, it also has a mind of its own. [[spoiler: When the Forceless Collective resurrects her with the arm, she wastes no time trying to get rid of it before it can mutate her again]].

* DeathEqualsRedemption: She and the Valkoran weren't really all that evil in the first place, but their actions were [[WellIntentionedExtremist kind of extreme]]. As she's dying, she tells Zolph to make sure the Valkoran understand the errors of their ways.
