* SpellMyNameWithAnS: Supercommando? Super-Commando? Super Commando? Not even official sources seem sure.

* AmbiguousSituation: [[RashomonStyle Judging by Pre Vizsla and Fenn Rau's different accounts on the theft of the Darksaber]], we can assume that there are polarizing views on Tarre's status as a Mandalorian Jedi that have also caused some information bias about him. Also, judging by Rau saying that Tarre was the ''first'' Mandalorian Jedi, it can be inferred that that there may have been ''multiple'' Force-sensitive Mandalorians in the past, some even becoming Jedi. But we don't know how Tarre became a Jedi nor has it been explained why there seem to be no Force-sensitive Mandalorians in the present era.

** {{Pride}}. Vizsla's arrogance leads him to make some costly mistakes, such as attempting to engage a Jedi Master in a lightsaber duel (which Vizsla likely survived only because Obi-Wan didn't want to kill anyone in front of [[ActualPacifist Satine]]), and forging an alliance with Count Dooku. The trope name becomes literal in "[[Recap/StarWarsTheCloneWarsS5E15ShadesOfReason Shades of Reason]]"; Vizsla's sense of warrior pride causes him to face Darth Maul, a superior warrior, in single combat, which results in Vizsla's own death.

Later, after Bo-katan's revelation that she saw a [[AllMythsAreTrue Mythosaur]] in the depths, and with their victorious debut back in the open on Nevarro, Armorer realizes that it's time to dispense with such exclusionary notions and rally all Mandalorians regardless of their level of adherence to the Creed's strictures to retake their homeworld.]]

* CoolSword: Tarre Vizsla's physical legacy is the Darksaber, a weapon that, like it's creator and original owner, is an ideal marriage of Mandalorian ideology and Jedi mysticism, being powered by a unique [[BlackSwordsAreBetter black]] kyber crystal, with a hilt made of beskar, and, unlike any other lightsaber seen in canon, producing a flat, [[KatanasAreJustBetter katana-esque]] blade. The Darksaber is so cool that Tarre's family refused to allow it to be enshrined in the Jedi Temple after his death, and after they retrieved it, the weapon became a symbol of leadership for the Mandalorian people (and [[{{Irony}} would often be used against Jedi]]), being wielded by many great warriors.

* HoistByHisOwnPetard: Unlike other Imperial Supercommandos, Tiber wears actual stormtrooper armor, not traditional Beskar armor modified to look Imperial, as a demonstration of his loyalty to the Empire and abandonment of Mandalorian culture. [[spoiler:When Sabine modifies the Duchess to target Imperial armor, Tiber is affected as well.]]

* TheRemnant: It’s stated their lack of numbers and need to hide are the result of [[ThePurge the Great Purge]], which forced them into hiding, relying on foundlings for their future generations, and with much of their Beskar in Imperial hands.
* TokenHeroicOrc: Out of all the various clans, the Children of the Watch are the only group that makes the protection of others- particularly children- a sacred part of their tenant.

* SoldierVsWarrior: Even compared to other Mandalorian factions, these guys come down firmly on the “warrior” side of the equation, eschewing any kind of chain of command and generally operating without anything beyond very basic strategy and tactics. Being Mandalorians, they’re all personally very dangerous… but against organized, professional militaries like Gideon’s Imperial Remnant or even just overwhelmingly massive monsters, they struggle.
** This is further shown in ''The Pirate'' as when they are put under the command of Bo-Katan, who has actual experience as a military leader. Despite being outnumbered 10-1 by the pirates, Bo-Katan's soldier-like manner allowed them to triumph with minimal casualties.

* WeaponsOfTheirTrade: Strikes stormtroopers using her smithing hammer with the same force that she strikes her Beskar crafts.

to:

* WeaponsOfTheirTrade: Strikes The Armorer is seen using her blacksmith's hammer and tongs to work as improvised weapons with great skill on several occasion, notably against stormtroopers using in "[[Recap/TheMandalorianS1E8Chapter8Redemption Chapter 8: Redemption]]", or space pirates in "[[Recap/TheMandalorianS3E5Chapter21ThePirate Chapter 21: The Pirate]]". Of course, her smithing hammer with the same force that she strikes her Beskar crafts.tools are strongly implied to be made of beskar, so it's not like a flimsy stormtrooper helmet or a skull are going to damage them.

* MightyGlacier: He is plodding in his movement, but his formidable strength allows him to wear particularly thick and well-covering Beskar plate armor, and he also wields a heavy repeating blaster that's not quite as big as an Imperial E-Web with which he lays down withering blaster fire. His armor is protective enough that he is able to take a light blaster cannon shot square in the chest and walk it off. [[spoiler:This ends up being why the Praetorian Guard make short work of him -- their quick, cooperative fighting style meant that an already worn-down Paz was an easy target, as despite him mowing down dozens of soldiers moments before, he was unable to deal with a set of nimble opponents on his own.]]

Drop The Hammer is now a disambiguation page.

* DropTheHammer: Strikes stormtroopers using her smithing hammer with the same force that she strikes her Beskar crafts.

* ImprobableWeaponUser: Her skill with the [[DropTheHammer hammer]] isn't too remarkable in itself, except that it's a Beskar smithing hammer... as are the tongs she also uses in concert with it. Normally, they're her two main beskar smithing tools. She first used them when ambushed in her forge, which would make them {{Improvised Weapon}}s, but she later uses them during a battle the Mandalorian were well prepared for.

* SwordAndGun: He uses a blaster pistol in conjunction with the Darksaber during his fight with Sabine to keep her at a distance. Ultimately, it doesn't do him any favors.

Added DiffLines:

* UnskilledButStrong: During his lightsaber duel with Sabine, he's visibly the stronger fighter and his strikes and swings are clearly overpowering Sabine's. However, he has little-to-no training in lightsaber combat unlike Sabine and resorts to swinging the Darksaber around like a machete rather than an actual sword. Sabine's superior training eventually allows her to brutally disarm Saxon of the Darksaber and win the duel.

* HighPriest: She carries herself in the manner of a high priestess, and her words of wisdom on the ways of their culture carry great weight with the titular character and all others in the Covert. After explaining the clear course of action in accordance with the culture, she emphasizes her point with the CatchPhrase "This is the Way", which is usually echoed in compliance by whomever she was lecturing.

** The Armorer clearly guided The Children of the Watch in believing their practice of "The Way" made them true Mandalorians. However, [[spoiler: after Bo-Katan sees a mythosaur and The Armorer asks her to remover her helmet]], The Armorer makes great strides in reunifying various Mandalorian splinter groups and demonstrating by example to her clan to support their fellow Mandalorians. She is one of the first to volunteer to scout out Mandalore, she evacuates the wounded Mandalorians they find on the surface to medical treatment, and [[spoiler: after retaking Mandalore she relights the Great Forge alongside Bo-Katan, while also allowing Bo and some of the other Nite Owl's to stand witness as Ragnar Vizsla takes the Creed at the Living Waters.]]
