The Cluster has many elements of other Sci-Fi, such as [[StarWars Star Wars]] and [[StarTrek Star Trek]].
Currently, Cyrannus and the Quadrants are being swallowed up by what is literally [[TheEmpire the Empire]], but the imperialistic regime is far from the only threats, which include [[TheAssimilator Assimilators]] and of course, [[TheEmperor the Emperor]].

* ObviouslyEvil: Somewhat subverted. The Empire is considered by many on SporeWiki to be a nice place to live. It's enemies would disagree.

* ManipulativeBastard: Antediluvian to basically everyone.
* BigBad: Antediluvian is Cyrannus' primary antagonist.
