A dimension of many pockets, this series started in 1993, following Sonic and The Knothole Freedom Fighters battling & surviving the tyranny of Dr. Robotnik. But that wasn't all, as a rogues gallery of magic wielders, dopplegangers, demigods, & cosmic entities came into the fray.

Sonic's multiverse is vast & the amount of alternate versions of our favorite blue hero is always growing. One version of Sonic comes in the form of Scourge The Hedgehog. Previously only known to the rest of the multiverse as "Evil Sonic" or "Anti Sonic", This Sonic comes from a world where his father was born into royalty, making him the next in line for the throne when he came of age. His father brought about a period of absolute peace across the planet, but eventually something happened that caused the whole system to fall apart. This Sonic wasn't particular fond of the peace his father brought about anyway, & was actively rebelling against it in the same way Sonic Prime rebels against the efforts of Dr. Eggman.

Anti-Sonic's impatience for the throne & strained familial relationship brought him to the decision to kill his father & bring about a world of madness under his rule. Eventually, Anti Sonic put together a team of fellow rebels & traveled the globe with them on a massive crime spree. Eventually, this Sonic grew bored of his world & discovered the Cosmic Interstate, a gateway to the multiverse, where he realized that he was nothing more than an alternate version of another Sonic. This ticked him off, & he set out to prove himself superior & make a new name for himself.

Soon after traveling to the Archie Sonic Dimension, he teams up with the jewel-hungry Rouge The Bat & locates the Master Emerald. Before Knuckles' father could intervene, Anti Sonic used the Master Emerald's power to give himself a new form. Knuckles' father Locke swipes him off of the Emerald before he could continue, leaving a scar on the hedgehog's torso. The new look, combined with an increase in speed & power, gave him the idea to go by the new name, Scourge The Hedgehog.

Currently, Scourge is teamed up with a mysterious Echidna known as Dr. Finitevus & plotting an invasion of the multiverse. However, it seems as though the plans of Dr. Eggman may put Scourge's idea of a takeover on hold.

The Anti-Amy Rose herself. Like her original counterpart, she started out as a devoted fan of her dimension's Sonic (Now named Scourge) & wanted nothing more than to gain his affection. However, that's where most similarities end.

While Amy was able to turn her affection around into a healthy friendship with Sonic, Rosy's love for Scourge only turned into darker & darker obsession. She tampered with the magic of the rings to wish herself older, hoping that physical & mental maturity was all Scourge needed to fall head over heels in love with her. Unfortunately, the rings' magic shattered her mind, leaving her a complete mess. Her creepy, childlike nature only frightens Scourge even more now, although Rosy herself can't seem to realize the issue.

Violent, single-minded, & eager to cause pain & suffering, especially to anyone who she feels may have betrayed her. * VillainousFriendship: Has one with Sara, due to her being just as much of a "lose cannon" as her.

Most "villains" with large egos will often try taking over the world or universe. Meanwhile, the goals of Ixis Naugus, while seemingly smaller in scale, pose a threat greater than most realize.

In the dimension he comes from (The Archie Comics Dimension), Naugus is a cunning & manipulative troll who hails from the Order of Ixis, a legion of wizards who ruled over the city of Mobotropolis. (Now currently ruled by one of this Sonic's childhood friends, Sally Acorn.) After a long brutal war, most wizards of the Order were wiped out, leaving Naugus & his sister Wendy as the last of the Order's living lineage. While Wendy fled to create her own legion of bandits & magic wielders, Naugus stayed & acted as a royal servant to the land of Mobotropolis' new rulers. He was soon banished to another dimension (known as the Special Zone to many.) after betraying Sally's father, King Max. All that time spent in the Special Zone gave Naugus time to strengthen his magic abilities. He later escaped stronger than ever with a hunger for the title of Mobotropolis' true ruler.

Naugus has many spells under his belt, his favorite being those related to the summoning & manipulation of crystals, as well as shapeshifting.

Over the years, however, Naugus has become a master of the elements. Magical spells & attacks based on Earth, Wind, Fire & Water are plentiful in his arsenal.

Other spells are more subtle. Without moving a muscle, Naugus can temporarily channel into the minds of unsuspecting victims & alter their emotional states to manipulate events from afar. A real "Jack of All Trades", this one.

Sonic & his band of Emerald Hill Freedom Fighters duke it out against the forces of a good-natured scientist turned bad in Dr. Robotnik. While the comic is known for staying very true to the original games, it's also known for it's many differences. Namely, the turning of Sonic's powered-up alter ego, Super Sonic, into a horrifying entity of death & destruction.

Usually, when Sonic gathers the seven mystical Chaos Emeralds or comes into contact with Chaos Energy, he absorbs that energy & turns into Super Sonic; A golden, powered-up form that takes Sonic's good nature & channels it into immense magical power.

In the universe of Sonic The Comic (known as the Fleetway Dimension), any amount of extreme stress or exposure to Chaos Energy turns Sonic into the ultimate embodiment of evil. The Super Sonic from this universe is a sadistic & remorseless creature with enough power to destroy an entire planet.

His speed & strength are increased immensely from his normal blue self, with added abilities like lazer vision, flight, the ability to transfer Chaos Energy into an unsuspecting victim (this usually kills them) & the power to turn himself into a ticking electron bomb. Formerly a soldier of war named Lucas, Dark Oak is actually a member of a species of plant-like creatures from a faraway planet. His enhanced metalic body came to him as an idea to help turn the tide of the war he & his forces were waging against an unknown alien race.

The countless casualties of his men & his unwavering desire to keep fighting, led to him using he & his soldiers' new bodies to strip their home planet of it's life source (known as a 'Planet Egg' amongst his species). The females within Lucas' species hated the idea from the start, including Lucas' family; His wife Earthia, along with his daughters Galaxia & Cosmo, who ordered a nuclear strike on Lucas & his men for their betrayal & corrupted new forms.

Lucas & his men survived, however, & with most of his species & homeworld dead (save for his daughter Cosmo, who escaped during the planet's destruction), he took on the name of Dark Oak (based on his skin color prior to the transformation), named the last of his army the Metarex, & vowed to strip the galaxy of all non plant life. With a galaxy devoid of humans[=/=]humanoids, Dark Oak's twisted version of peace can finally be achieved. Free of war. Free of destruction.

In spite of his seemingly noble goal to obtain peace, Dark Oak isn't exactly against using brute force to get what he wants. He'll gleefully take joy in the destruction of all non-plant based organics & cut through them like candy with the help of his Metarex drones. Once finding out that his daughter Cosmo was about to escape their home planet, he forced her to surrender & made her a spy for the Metarex, implanting trackers within his own offspring just so he could get a leg up on Sonic & Co. to ensure they didn't foil his plans.

The process behind his Forestation Project is terrifying. Locating the source of the planet's energy, he uproots it, leaving all organic life to die until he can use Chaos Energy to create an endless sea of forests overtop. If any non-plant organics are still alive after stealing the Planet Egg, the Chaos Emeralds' magic will fuse the bodies of any human/ humanoid into the ever growing plantlife, leaving said bodies as withering husks for nature to take over.

* AliensAreBastards: Is mainly responsible for the destruction of Cosmo's world after trying to gain power.
* AdaptationalPersonalityChange: Dark Oak is a serious stoic villain, and no joke is ever made at his expense in the ''Sonic X'' anime. In here, he is bombastic and more comical in his goals, and a BumblingDad (which doesn't even describe his relationship with Cosmo in the series).
* BewareTheSillyOnes: On occasion he comes off as a lot more goofy than the other villains, but make no mistake, he's still the same one ''beat Super Sonic in combat''.
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: Genuinely loves his daughter Cosmo and wants her to rule the galexy by his side, sadly for him the feeling isn't mutual.
* EvilSoundsDeep: He has a pretty deep baritone.
* KnightTemplar: Believes that only plant life is worth any value while all else in the universe is too flawed. Thus he seeks to reset everything in order to end all wars and conflict, regardless of how many have to die in the process.
* LukeIAmYourFather: He's Cosmo's father.

A dimension with ancient lore depicting a never-ending battle of nature vs. machines. In present day, the battle is continued by the unlikeliest of heroes in Sonic & co. The teens fend off the plans of a fiendish Dr. Eggman from a mystical island full of surprises.

A powerful being embedded with energy from the mysterious Chaos Crystals (The Sonic Boom universe's take on Chaos Emeralds), Shadow's past is mostly unknown to everyone besides him, with others thinking he's just some freak that hangs out in a cave & broods his way through life.

One thing this Shadow has in common with his Prime counterpart is an intense competitive streak, always up for a challenge of strength & ability when it concerns him most. He also has quite the sketchy history with Sonic, holding a passionate grudge against him nowadays & never wasting an opportunity to battle him to prove superiority.

This Shadow is riddled with feelings of being betrayed in the past, driving him down a vengeful path of villainous cruelty & a lack of care for most things around him. He's willingly endangered his own universe by trying to create a paradox, & will often leave any hero work to Sonic & his friends while he goes his own way. Clearly the only justice he even remotely cares for is his own. And so long as he can get Sonic to pay for what he's done to him in the past, this Shadow is willing to go along with whatever evil scheme necessary.

* NeverLiveItDown: Shadow was once shown a poorly edited video of Sonic dissing him by Eggman so he would attack Sonic and his friends, Scourge wastes no time mocking him for it.
* TheRival: To Sonic, although he's far more antagonistic about it, even actively challenging and insulting Sonic for no reason other than to antagonize the Blue Blur.
* VirtueIsWeakness: He openly views Sonic's reliance on friendship and teamwork as a sign of weakness joining the villain alliance solely because of this.

The sly & sniveling leader of the bounty-hunting duo hired by Dr. Robotnik to capture Prince Sonic & Prince Manic & Princess Sonia, the children of former ruler of the planet Mobius, Queen Aleena.

Sleet isn't exactly used to working under the jurisdiction of a higher-up when it comes to jobs as a bounty hunter. Usually, he's taking the roll of top-dog amongst his peers. Being under the watch of Robotnik, however, revealed a layer of cowardice even he didn't know he had!

Fear aside, Sleet is the most competent of the duo, often the one coming up with plans to trap the hedgehogs. He feels like his talent of trap-making gets wasted by having Dingo as a partner, though. Sleet'll build a trap/plan, & Dingo'll clumsily ruin it. Orbot, the first of the duo to be made, started out with a different color scheme & a more monotoned way of speaking. After some remodelling & retooling Orbot was further perfected, given an enhanced sense of character & an improved voice chip.

Time passed & even Orbot grew to be a bit on the lonely side, requesting a partner in Cubot, an admittedly dumber counterpart who now complete eachother like the tightest of friends & most loving of brothers. They may get on eachother's nerves at times & often end up being absolute slackers on the job, but all the same, they exist to keep their master in check when the going gets rough! The perfect villainous pair!

This mechanical monkey has an inate ability to summon Coconut-shaped bombs from his hands within seconds, & if you know anything about monkeys, you'll know he's got a mean throwing arm. Explosives are most certainly his deal, but he has a tendency to get alittle too trigger-happy in the heat of the moment. What this lacks in target accuracy however, excels in terms of wrecking havoc on the environment, leaving nowhere left to run to for shelter or security. Before Knuckles' father could intervene, Anti Sonic used the Master Emerald's power to give himself a new form. Knuckles' father Locke swipes him off of the Emerald before he could continue, leaving a scar on the hedgehog's torso. The new look, combined with an increase in speed & power, gave him the idea to go by the new name, Scourge The Hedgehog.

The sly & sniveling leader of the bounty-hunting duo hired by Dr. Robotnik to capture Prince Sonic & Prince Manic & Princess Sonia, the children of former ruler of the planet Mobius, Queen Aleena.

Sleet isn't exactly used to working under the jurisdiction of a higher-up when it comes to jobs as a bounty hunter. Usually, he's taking the roll of top-dog amongst his peers. Being under the watch of Robotnik, however, revealed a layer of cowardice even he didn't know he had!

Fear aside, Sleet is the most competent of the duo, often the one coming up with plans to trap the hedgehogs. He feels like his talent of trap-making gets wasted by having Dingo as a partner, though. Sleet'll build a trap/plan, & Dingo'll clumsily ruin it. This often gives Sleet the desire to completely ditch Dingo & nab the bounty for himself, though his hidden appreciation for the big lug keeps him sticking around. It also helps that Dingo makes him feel even smarter just by existing beside him.

Sleet also likes to abuse Dingo's hidden shapeshifting ability to his upmost advantage, given a remote by Robotnik that lets him transform Dingo into whatever he feels neccesary.

With the Robotnik of he & Dingo's dimension finally defeated by Sonic & his siblings, Sleet is starting to feel the brunt of not being as good a bounty hunter as he once was prior to Robotnik's hiring. Teaming up with Eggman Prime seems to be just the perfect window of opportunity- If he can kill Sonic Prime, his dimension's Sonic'll be no more, making him & Dingo the greatest bounty hunters in the multiverse!

The brawn to Sleet the Hunter's brains, Dingo was tasked by the Dr. Robotnik of their dimension to capture the royal hedgehog triplets (Sonic & his siblings, Manic & Sonia. Yes they're royalty in this timeline.) & bring them back to Robotnik to turn them into mechanical slaves.

Now Dingo may have incredible strength & a scary-looking mug, but he can't seem to escape his dog-like innocence and simple-minded nature. He's not very bright, but like many dogs, he's immensely loyal to his masters & partners, namely Dr. Robotnik & Sleet in this instance. This is unfortunate, because those two couldn't give a darn about him, & often like to use him for all the dirty work.

One of the ways in which they like to use him is by shape-shifting him into whatever is currently needed for the mission at hand. Weapons, vehicles, even exact copies of other people to lure Sonic & co. into a false sense of security.

All that shapeshifting has left an impact on his body, however. So much so that when in contact with a large amount of Chaos Energy, he transforms into a corrupt abomination, capable of destroying anything in his path.

* AGodAmI: Just like in his source material, X possesses a rather noticeable god complex. As he briefly yells at the villains when they attempt to [[restrain the possessed Cubot and Grounder]] that [[BlasphemousBoast they cannot contain God]].

Surrounding the altar was a lake where the childlike creatures known as Chao often played. One day, a Chao got a bit too close to the Master Emerald, causing the creature to magically transform into the peace-loving being you see above! Born from the Emerald's power & the enchanted lake, this creature acted as a guardian of sorts to the Chao, hidden away by Tikal for fear of it being seen as a monster to the other Echidna. Unfortunately,Tikal's fears manifested on one horrific night.

A dimension of many pockets,This series started in 1993, following Sonic and The Knothole Freedom Fighters battling & surviving the tyranny of Dr. Robotnik. But that wasn't all, as a rogues gallery of magic wielders, dopplegangers, demigods, & cosmic entities came into the fray.

* BigBad: Was occasionally this several times back in his own dimension, being seen as a powerful enemy by both Sonic and Dr.Eggman.

Such immeasurable genius like that of the great Dr. Eggman can leave a man lonely without anyone to share said genius with. Enter Orbot & Cubot; Eggman's newest robot lackeys! Both imbedded with personalities that ( more or less ) serve to boost the morale & ego of their master, as well as help deal with smaller tasks around the Eggman Empire. Though their current forms have some history behind them.

Once the great leader of a pack of mercenaries made of fellow Jackals ( presumably family ), Infinite is now Dr. Eggman's main line of defense for his robot armies.. Or at least, he was.

He lives as free as the wind, goes by his own rules, & fights for the liberation of humans & animals from tyranny across two neighboring planets ( The Animal World, where Sonic was born & Earth, home to the humans ).

Rouge often likes to keep to herself and the few people she cares about most. Making her an enigma with questionable motives from the outside looking in. In reality, Rouge's actions stem from her personal desires and goals. Never nessecarily for the betterment of others ( [[MoralLuck though she'll take that as a nice bonus]]. )

In the dimension he comes from ( The Archie Comics Dimension ), Naugus is a cunning & manipulative troll who hails from the Order of Ixis, a legion of wizards who ruled over the city of Mobotropolis. ( Now currently ruled by one of this Sonic's childhood friends, Sally Acorn. ) After a long brutal war, most wizards of the Order were wiped out, leaving Naugus & his sister Wendy as the last of the Order's living lineage. While Wendy fled to create her own legion of bandits & magic wielders, Naugus stayed & acted as a royal servant to the land of Mobotropolis' new rulers. He was soon banished to another dimension ( known as the Special Zone to many. ) after betraying Sally's father, King Max. All that time spent in the Special Zone gave Naugus time to strengthen his magic abilities. He later escaped stronger than ever with a hunger for the title of Mobotropolis' true ruler.

His speed & strength are increased immensely from his normal blue self, with added abilities like lazer vision, flight, the ability to transfer Chaos Energy into an unsuspecting victim ( this usually kills them ) & the power to turn himself into a ticking electron bomb. He's virtually invincible & takes joy in killing anyone & destroying anything he feels.

Formerly a weapons designer and engineer for her universe's Robotnik. Tekno is the plucky and super genius friend to her universe's Freedom Fighters! She has an adventurous spirit that's only matched by her love for science and all things weird. Which she could ramble about all day ( and has... multiple times! )

Sara is a half-human/cat girl who grew up on the peaceful South Island with a loving dad. Years passed & she & her dad ( who is now the President of the island ) witnessed the appearance of Sonic during a battle with the notorious Dr. Robotnik. A now teenage Sara grew fond of the hedgehog after meeting him upon various attempts by Robotnik to kidnap her.

Being the President's daughter, Sara's got just about everything a teen could want ( materialistically anyway ) leaving her with quite the spoiled & bratty attitude. Because of this, not getting her way or seeing her friends in danger throws her into quite a fit. She packs a good punch & could probably kick someone's butt with enough combat expertise!

Formerly a soldier of war named Lucas, Dark Oak is actually a memeber of a species of plant-like creatures from a faraway planet. His enhanced metalic body came to him as an idea to help turn the tide of the war he & his forces were waging against an unknown alien race.

The countless casualties of his men & his unwavering desire to keep fighting, led to him using he & his soldiers' new bodies to strip their home planet of it's life source ( Known as a 'Planet Egg' amongst his species ). The females within Lucas' species hated the idea from the start, including Lucas' family; His wife Earthia, along with his daughters Galaxia & Cosmo, who ordered a nuclear strike on Lucas & his men for their betrayal & corrupted new forms.

Lucas & his men survived, however, & with most of his species & homeworld dead ( save for his daughter Cosmo, who escaped during the planet's destruction ) He took on the name of Dark Oak ( based on his skin color prior to the transformation ), named the last of his army the Metarex, & vowed to strip the galaxy of all non plant life. With a galaxy devoid of humans/ humanoids, Dark Oak's twisted version of peace can finally be achieved. Free of war. Free of destruction.

* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: Genuenly loves his daughter Cosmo and wants her to rule the galexy by his side, sadly for him the feeling isn't mutual.

* KnightTemplar: Beleaves that only plant life is worth any value while all else in the universe is too flawed. Thus he seeks to reset everything in order to end all wars and conflict, regardless of how many have to die in the process.
