* HumongousHeadedHammer: Hammer Slam Bowser uses a fire-infused spiked hammer as his primary weapon, and said hammer's head is about the size of his own head. While smashing this down, he's able to create shockwaves, and one upgrade path lets him slam it down hard to create fields of lava that burn enemies.

As more wormholes started appearing throughout Skylands, so did some that lead to entirely different worlds, bringing with them heroes (or villains) from other world, who accepted the invitations to become Skylanders and help in their missions against the forces of evil. * FragileSpeedster: Holy moley, he is. Crash himself is one of the faster moving Senseis and his attacks are weak, but quick so he doesn't leave himself too open. But his HP is the smallest out of any Skylander throughout the series, having a base of ''150'' and a max total of 450 once he reaches level 20. This was likely made because he was designed with an AutoRevive in mind as well as the ability to restore the amount of uses he has for it to prevent the system from being abused and allowing Crash to never be defeated.

Donkey Kong is a fun-loving powerhouse gifted with great strength and incredible agility. His insatiable curiosity and easy-going attitude led him to explore the rift that appeared in his native jungle and brought him to exciting new adventures in this world called Skylands. Donkey Kong's fearlessness and reflexes made him a welcome addition to the [=SuperChargers=] and also the perfect driver for the stunt-tacular Barrel Blaster vehicle.

Bowser is the king of the Koopas and believes himself to be the supreme, unquestioned ruler of a kingdom far from Skylands. A hot-tempered and spiky-shelled warrior, he was transported to Skylands by traveling through a rift that had been created by Kaos' terrible Sky Eater. The Skylanders sent out a distress call across all the dimensions to call for reinforcements, and for reasons known only to Bowser himself, he has decided to join this epic battle against Kaos and the Darkness in his Clown Cruiser as the newest and most lethal of all the [=SuperChargers=]!
----
* DropTheHammer: Unique to his Skylander appearance.
* EnemyMine: He's usually a villain, but has been known to team up with heroes against rival villains.
* GuestFighter: He's from Nintendo.
* MagmaMan: A Skylander-exclusive powerup, known as Molten Bowser. He also gains the ability to create pools of magma that deal lingering damage.
* TheMinionMaster: His secondary attack is summoning Koopa Troopas to fight for him.
* TinTyrant: Bowser wears armor for the first time in this game.

Crash Bandicoot appeared in Skylands through a wormhole to the Wumpa Islands, where the inhabitants were hosting a party and wanted to invite the Skylanders. But due to Kaos’ plotting, the Skylanders must prioritize that, and Crash Bandicoot is offering to help!
----
* BellyFlopCrushing: A staple of his moveset since ''VideoGame/CrashBandicoot2CortexStrikesBack''.
* CrateExpectations: It wouldn't be Crash Bandicoot without a plethora of crates. Some containing extra lives only he can use, and some containing his jetpack and Fruit Bazooka.
* FriendlyEnemy: Seems to view Cortex this way at the end of the Thumpin' Wumpa Island level. The feeling's probably not mutual.
* GuestFighter: From another Activision-owned series. Unlike Donkey Kong and Bowser, his figure is compatible with all versions of ''Imaginators'', and he plays a major role in the storyline of ''Imaginators'' whereas the former two were just special guests.
* HappyDance: As an IdleAnimation, Crash will do his trademark dance.
* {{Jetpack}}: The one from ''Cortex Strikes Back'' makes an appearance, which he uses along with the Fruit Bazooka from ''VideoGame/CrashBandicoot3Warped''.
* KillerYoYo: In his Sky-Chi attack, he uses it to pull enemies toward him.
* MadBomber: He can throw TNT crates, and combine them with his spin attack to create a whirlwind of explosives.
* MythologyGag: Similar to in his home series, he has unique death animations depending on what defeated him. Also, when he breaks open one of his crates, there's a chance it will include an extra life from one of his games.
** His yo-yo attack is based on the opening cutscene of ''VideoGame/CrashBandicoot3Warped'', where he was seen playing with one. This was also his idle animation in the same game, and the yo-yo made another appearance in ''Crash Nitro Kart''.
** His appearance in this game might be one to the {{crossover}} games ''VideoGame/CrashBandicootPurpleRiptosRampage'' and ''VideoGame/SpyroOrangeTheCortexConspiracy''.
** Less debatable is the fact that, at the start of the "Thumpin' Wumpa Islands" expansion pack level, Aku Aku directly calls Spyro his friend, meaning these two already met.
* SlideAttack: Another attack introduced in his second game, serving as his secondary ability.
* SpinAttack: His signature attack and his primary ability as a Skylander, known as the Cyclone Spin.
* TheUnintelligible: Similar to ''VideoGame/CrashTagTeamRacing'' and beyond. Usually [[ExpositionFairy Aku Aku]] speaks on his behalf, but he does manage to say his name when played as a card in Creation Clash and says "Ta-da!" from time to time.

Dr. Neo Cortex appeared in Skylands through a wormhole to the Wumpa Islands, where the inhabitants were hosting a party and wanted to invite the Skylanders. After Cortex’s plan to harness the energy of the party went amiss, he teams up with his arch-nemesis to stop it…and also the Skylanders in their quest to stop Kaos.
----
* AttackReflector: With enough upgrades, he can summon Uka Uka to reflect projectiles back at enemies.
* DeathFromAbove: His Sky-Chi attack causes a rain of laser beams to fall in any spot of his choosing.
* GuestFighter: Same as Crash.
* HoverBoard: He has access to one. He can ride it around for a short time to attack enemies and get around more quickly, before it explodes and he ends up falling flat on his head.
* MadBomber: He can toss out landmines, like in his boss fight in ''VideoGame/CrashBandicoot3Warped''.
* MadScientist: Just like in his home series, he's an EvilutionaryBiologist who's rather insane, seeking to TakeOverTheWorld and only serves the Skylanders for his own purposes.
* RayGun: His primary method of attack is a handheld, {{Zeerust}}-inspired ray gun.
* ASinisterClue: Wields his RayGun in his left hand.
* TimeMaster: One upgrade allows him access to a device created by Dr. N. Tropy, which creates a bubble that slows down enemies.
* TokenEvilTeammate: Unlike the other villain Senseis, he's very much still evil. He's just helping for his own purposes.

No, this is not the same Kaos we know, but rather a clone created by him with Mind Magic. Figuring that he would win easier with two Kaos, but the clone was just as obssessed with victory as his creator was, so he turned over to the Skylanders' side to defeat his master. He is the only Skylander of the [[ShapedLikeItself Kaos element and Kaos class]], and is a master in all battle classes.
----
* SpontaneousWeaponCreation: His first two attacks is creating weapons, either close-ranged or long-ranged, out of Mind Magic.
