* AdaptedOut: Earthquake is the only character who was cut from the Platform/SegaGenesis port of the first game due to the fact that his sprite was too big for the Genesis Platform/{{cartridge}}'s UsefulNotes/{{R|eadOnlyMemory}}OM to handle. This also extends to the enhanced Sega CD port of the first game as well, even though the Sega CD itself should've easily been able to hold both Earthquake and his stage via the much larger ROM capacity.
