Heroine of the series. A 12 year old hindu girl who runs her junior detective agency helping out with crimes around the school and neighborhood.

* ActionGirl: Extremely athletic, quick on her feet, master of Hindu martial art, Khalariphattyu and certainly able to defend herself if she needs too.

* BerserkButton: She doesn't get mad often but she can lose focus rather quickly if something displeases her. On a more personal level, missing with Doowee and the SBI in general is a good way to get on her bad side.
* AgentScully: To Doowee's Mulder, she usually tries to be the more sensible of the pair if a case has unnatural claims and most times she's right. That's not to say she won't disbelieve what she see what her eyes most of the time.

* HypocriticalHumor: Some eps usually have her dismiss anything she sees as nerdy or boring till she actually tries it herself.

* PrimAndProperBun: Don it on two occasionals as part of a disguise.
* SkirtOverSlacks: Sorta counts, she wears part of her sari over her pants. Then again her sari isn't usually one wore in the traditional sense.

* AgentMulder: To Sally's Scully, he usually can be superstition and willing to believe more in the supernatural.
* AnimalsHateHim: Really has bad luck with animals, though Mr. Shoebridges's parrot is an exception.

* {{Scotireland}}: Subverted in his case, his nationality is indeed Scottish (as he mentions making Haggis for a cooking contest in one ep and wears a traditional kilt in "Nationality Day") but he doesn't have the accent (though oddly his parents do).

* AdultsAreUseless: On some occasions depending on the episode such as scolding Sally for what Stephanie wrote in the school paper based on her a suspicion she had. When Sally tried to state Stephanie twisted what she was saying, he just saw it as another accusation.

* DisproportionateRetribution: In the pilot, he was trying to cell phone that he had stolen with a bolder simply because they annoyed him.
* CanadaEh: Revealed to be from Canada though oddly in the English dub, he speaks in a cockney accent.

* FantasyForbiddingFather: Mother in this case, she scolds Jaya for a making a scene just because she lost her lucky charm.

* TattooedCrook: Subverted, he's rough-looking and has some tattoos over his arms but is far from a crook.

* BeatThemAtTheirOwnGame: One ep had him bugging many of his classmates with pranks. So they organize one involving vampires to get back at him.

* HiddenDepths: Comes off a bit ditzy but she's a surpsingly good manipulator having gotten Sally and Doowee to find a painting her grandfather stole. Likewise she knows her way around technology such as how she manged to scramble the autotune machine of her friend's concert.

* {{Jerkass}}: On some occasions, she mocks Sally when her business was being threaten by Mr. Big, was one of the kids trying to keep Sally from competing in a sports event, and when invited to come to Doowee's new gadget demonstration, admits she only came for Mrs. Apu's cooking.

* YouGottaHaveBlueHair: For once, yeah, her hair's completely blue.

* MasterOfTheMixedMessage: In one case, he challenges the SBI detective skills and wanted to be caught. Turns out it was his way of asking Sally to a dance.

* {{Adorkable}}: Much more nerdy then Doowee, but again so cute.
* AscendedFanboy: In "Stranger Then Fiction", he reveals he's a major fan of a Harry Potter-esqe book series that he even wrote his own fan story. When the author, who had claimed someone stole her manuscript, reveals she truthfully couldn't come up with any ideas for her next installment and made up the story to cover for this. She's shown Albert's story and suggests a collaboration. Albert faints from shock and happiness.

* MadScientist: He went overboard in on ep where he used the whole school as guinea pigs for his sound experiments.

* RedHerring: Most times he's featured, he usually never the culprit. Just a false lead.

* {{Jerkass}}: In ''SBI Sees Double'', she comes to the SBI crying over her missing scrunchies. Once they take the case, she becomes a demanding diva demanding they find it as fast as possible. Keep in mind, they're ''volunteering'' to do so, she's not paying them.

* DramaQueen: She's a client in a lot of cases, many which usually invovle relationship or friendship whom she always suspects the other half is cheating on her. Cue the waterworks when she comes to ask the SBI for help.

* {{Scotireland}}: Speaks with a Scottish accent in the dub.

* NiceJobFixingItVillain: Sally tricked her into revealing she was the culprit in one case by claiming she found the Saris she had stolen and hidden away. In truth it was just an empty garbage bag and Nirmala had unwittingly lead Sally and Doowee right to the real ones.

* IntelligenceEqualsIsolation: The other part of the reason when he was found to be the culprit in one case as, while he excels in his studies it doesn't leave room to make friends. Sally and Doowee, having gone undercover as nerds for a time, can't help but agree.

* NiceGuy: A tad narcissistic and could use some lesson in household manners (He laid on Sally's bed in dirted shoes to her disgust). But otherwise an alright guy.

* OutnumberedSibling: In his family, was an only child but his parents had multiple children. Making him the eldest brother among them. This is probably the reason why he was able get Alice to into giving him his plane ticket back.
* TheKlutz: Tries to help with the investigation of his missing plane ticket, but only ended up hampering Sally and Doowee due to his clumsiness. This is what lead to Sally suspecting him the first time, but no he really is just that clumsy.

* NiceCharacterMeanActor: Known for playing the love interests in a lot of movies. But on the set she's a major diva whose nasty to the whole production team
* NeverMyFault: Fails to see that she has a major attitude problem and even accused her friend of being "selfish" for asking for a small part in a movie. It eventually took finding out said friend was the culprit in snapping and sending pictures of her behavior to the media. As well as her being told directly how spoiled she is by said friend that she finally changes her tone.

Biology Teacher of the school. Also the mother of Jaya.

* TattooedCrook: Subverted, he's rough and has some tattoos over his arms but far from a crook.

* DrillSergeantNasty: When the students get too unruly, she comes up with a persona named Ms. Chicago whose no-nonsense and nasty to make them realise how lucky they have her as teacher. Once the students get the message, she drops the disguise.

The school nurse

* NotMeThisTime: Well technically but in "Liz Secert Diary" he admits to breaking into lockers and stealing thing but not taking Liz's diary and posting the pages.

* AscendedFanboy: In "Stranger Then Fiction", he reveals he's a major fan of a Harry Potter-esqe book series that he even wrote his own story. * HotScoop / IntrepidReporter: One of the reporters for the school newspaper and will leap at any scandal that befalls it. Especially if it involves the SBI, even admitting that their success is her success. [[spoiler: One of the cases has her even sabotaging a racing event and planning the stories in advance in hopes of getting on the front page.]]
* NeverMyFault: She has a bad habit of writing articles without proof to support them. But when confronted on it, she just claims the complainer doesn't know anything about journalism. This has actually gotten her in trouble a few times.

* ItsAllAboutMe

* WellIntentionedExtremist: Was the culprit in one case in order to help her brother.

* MulticoloredHair: As the image shows, pink in the front, purple in the back.

* IJustWantToHaveFriends: Revealed he was the culprit in a studies cheating ploy in an effort to make friends.

* RevengeSVP: Had this pulled on her via a Party Crashing when she threw a party but was very picky about who could come (Sally wasn't even invited, but Doowee was). The culprit, none other then her little brother whom she wouldn't allow to participate for being too young.
* SnowballLie: In one case, she claimed she had a cat which was supposely stolen later on. It turned out it was a lie that got out of her control as she was just trying to fit in with the other girls who had pets.

* HollywoodNerd: First it to a tee.

* BadBadActing: Was the culprit in one case as her friends, a director, didn't make her a lead actor in his movie. Sally shows her exactly why when she's shown part of the movie where she was used as bait to lure out the false culprit. Kuvina's horrified on seeing herself act.

* DisproportionateRetribution: Hacked the school's computer to change a fellow student's grades as she felt he was showing off academically and wanted him to feel what it was like to have parents scolding him for having bad grades.

* DisproportionateRetribution: "Curses" one classmate for simply bumping into her. In truth though, the classmate had gotten a role in a school play Luna wanted and she was just jealous.
