* DemonicPossession: While Sardonyx can willingly channel Kugelblitz, she is not above seizing control of their shared body should she feel the need to do so.

Nanami's younger sister, an energetic, if spoiled ten-year-old girl. She was long thought lost in the attack on Illuster, until she was revealed to be in Sardonyx's clutches early on. Soon afterward, Celes reveals herself to be responsible for the failure of the Rainbow Melody that led to the invasion of Illuster.

* ChildMage: The youngest character of significance and the most magically talented.
* CompanionCube: Seldom seen without her beloved doll, Vulpecula.

* MeaningfulName: 'Yuu' means 'superiority'; in her case, it's meant to refer to the sky, which she has a clear affinity with.

* HairDecorations: Wears a headband with a ribbon in her civilian disguise.

* MeaningfulName: 'Tsukiko' means 'moon child', while the mineral selenite is named for the Greek word for the moon. Fitting for a girl with light powers and an association with the moon.

* ThirdPersonPerson: Tends to speak this way roughly half the time as a means of playing up his (superficially) lax and easy-going nature. He drops it completely when disguised or when serious.

* BigSisterInstinct: Tourmaline, for all her prickly harshness, does genuinely love and care about her twin sister. The middle child of the Void Triad, Tourmaline is a strict-natured and borderline-emotionless fourteen-year-old girl who is utterly obsessed with earning Sardonyx’s approval, even at the potential cost of her well-being. She transfers into Sorairo Academy alongside her sister early on in the series in order to keep tabs on Pretty Cure.
