!Bluey
!!Made by: SB-2749
* BladeOnAStick: Turns his wand into a spear for his dash attack.
* ChargedAttack: Neutral Special is one, gaining more power depending on charge. However, the charge can be stored and used for any of his other specials, or his up strong.
* DropTheHammer: Uses one as the third hit of his jab, his forward air, and to bat his projectiles for side special.
* EasterEgg: Quickly tilting the stick up or down as he performs his side tilt (which normally has the everywand turn into a fist) will have it form the gestures for Paper or Scissors.
* ImprobableWeaponUser: While his wand does turn into traditional weapons like a spear or hammer, it also often forms a hand, an umbrella, and a dumbbell, among other things. He also uses a bowling ball in his uncharged side special.
* InstantFlightJustAddSpinning: His Up Special. He can even go higher if he has charge.
* RecoilBoost: The main gist of his Down Special, causing an explosion behind himself that propels him forward. While he himself deals some damage, the explosion deals the bulk of it.
* SigilSpam: His signature "B" appears often, on his bowling balls, as his projectiles, around the foe if they're hit by a fully charged neutral special...
* SwissArmyWeapon: His main weapon, the everywand, changes between various forms for different attacks.
* ThrowDownTheBomblet: If he has charge, his bowling ball is replaced with a much stronger bomb.
* TokenHuman: Justified due to not originating from the Rivals of Aether Universe.

!Valkyrie, the Large Medium
!!Made by: Anguish
* AllThereInTheManual: Her lore is only available on her steam workshop page.
* AnAxeToGrind: Wields a large axe made of energy for her strongs and down air. In addition to dealing good damage and knockback, it can cause her status effects to take effect.
* BattleBoomerang: Valkyrie's side special throws one, inflicting one of her two status effects or changing the effect of her totems.
* StandardStatusEffect: Can inflict one of two status effects, which cause enemies to either heal Valkyrie on hit or take extra damage when hit by her axe attacks.
* PsychoPomp: She guides the spirits of the Harbor Guard into the afterlife, as said on her steam workshop page.
* TrapMaster: Can place a totem that creates a field that constantly applies the effects of her statuses onto anyone inside.

* LongRangeFighter: Targma's rather slow, but makes up for it with great zoning options.options courtesy of his volcano and magma balls.
* MadeOfExplodium: His magma balls, though they have to be remotely detonated to explode.

!Targma
!!Made by: Djentalist
*ArmCannon: Has one that resembles a volcano on one of his arms. He uses it to fire blasts of flame and lava.
*LongRangeFighter: Targma's rather slow, but makes up for it with great zoning options.
*MagmaMan: Primarily uses lava to fight.
*Revenge: His main backstory. His mother was executed by the Flame Empire army, and years later he infiltrated their ranks and gathered the soldiers that were responsible to be killed in a volcanic eruption.
*PinballProjectile: The magma ball created from their Neutral Special bounces all over the place, and can be knocked around by attacks. Targma can even place a wall that is only there for the magma balls to bounce off of.
*TrapMaster: They can place down miniature volcanoes that periodically shoot fireball projectiles, a wall that empowers their fireballs and acts like a wall to their magma ball, and short-lived puddles of lava.
*TurtlePower: Targma's a turtle. However, unlike what is commonly associated with the trope, Targma is not elderly, and is not very nice.

* ImprobableWeaponUser: Several. A drumstick, a saxophone, a watch, a parasol, a magnifying glass, you name it.

Added DiffLines:

* MechanicallyUnusualFighter: They do not have a traditional airdodge, with Trummel jumping off a cloud after dodging, placing the cloud as a trap and gaining height, with the downside of putting Trummel into helpless state. Secondly, they can freely move during the startup of their strong attacks, which most other characters cannot.
* MolotovCocktail: Their Up Special consists of Trummel throwing one, though it just is a watery explosion than lighting on fire.
* MusicalAssassin: Their Neutral Special consists of playing a horn. If the move hits an enemy while there are clouds active, the clouds will become trumpets and home in on the opponent.
* RevolversAreJustBetter: Trummel's Side Special has Trummel pull out a revolver and shoot it. It has notable startlag, but the projectile is fast and powerful.
* ShapeshifterWeapon: Alto does this often for the attacks he does, such as forming a muscular arm or a drill.

!Trummel and Alto
!!Made by: Muno
A duo consisting of a snail and a cloud. Trummel's the snail, Alto's the cloud.
*AnimateInanimateObject: Alto's a sentient cloud.
*AllLowercaseLetters: trummel speaks this way
*CaughtInTheRain: Weaponizes this - Trummel and Alto's Down Special has Alto rain down on opponents, as well as causing any placed clouds to rain as well. In addition to dealing damage, it also inflicts their special Soak status effect.
*EasterEgg: By holding taunt for a couple seconds, or pressing Down and Taunt while in practice mode, the two will initiate a character-specific codec. Modders can even make their own codecs for their own characters.
*ImprobableWeaponUser: Several. A saxophone, a watch, a parasol, a magnifying glass, you name it.
*MakingASplash: The two have several water attacks, most of them courtesy of Alto.
*StandardStatusEffects: They have a special "Soak" status effect, which causes enemies to be stunned when they are next hit by any special that isn't Down Special (Which applies the status)
*WeatherManipulation: A small-scale version. The two can place clouds and make them rain.

!R-00, Logical Jetstream
!!Made by: Archytas
* AnimalMecha: A human-sized one, but a mechanical kangaroo.
* BattleBoomerang: His Side special has him throw one out, which slowly moves towards him, making it a deadly form of stage control. He can even change places with it by using Up Special.
* DamnYouMuscleMemory: This can happen often, as his Up Special isn't a standard recovery, but has him swap places with his star, or throw the star diagonally upwards if there isn't one active. The main way to recover is to first fast fall, then use Neutral Special.
* MechanicallyUnusualFighter: Has several non-standard gimmicks, as for starters, he relies on a meter for double jumps and his recoil boost attacks, but gains more meter by landing aerial attacks. Down Strong also isn't a traditional attack per-se, but instead has him constantly rocket backwards.
* RecoilBoost: Done very liberally with his jets. A good chunk of his attacks blow him in the opposite direction he attacks.
* RocketBoots: Built in ones, and used very liberally both to attack and move.
* TeleportersAndTransporters: Teleports for his Up Special, swapping places with his star.

!Liz
!!Made by: SleepyPlayer16
* AwesomeBackpack: Her backpack seems normal, but seems to be a BagOfHolding, can become a HelicopterPack, and Liz even attacks with it for her Down Aerial.
* BagOfHolding: Her backpack has several large gadgets inside, ranging from a megaphone, to a boxing glove, and a helicopter.
* ImprobableWeaponUser: Throws explosive clocks in her Neutral Special, has a Megaphone pop out of her backpack for her up tilt, and swings the backpack itself downwards for her down air.
* HelicopterPack: Her backpack turns into one for her Up Special.
* GrappleMove: Her Side Special has her grab and throw opponents. She can even turn around before the throw!
* GuestFighter: From the as-of-now unreleased game TimeRPG.
* MusicalGameplay: An odd version. Liz's main gimmick is based on Rhythm, where performing attacks as her personal bar fills adds to her meter, but it is not in response to any kind of music.
* MusiciansSmashGuitars: Her forward strong has her create a guitar out of TechnicolorFire and smash it.
* PracticalTaunt: Her taunt deals a very small amount of damage. The fact that it is a dab is even more embarrassing if you somehow get killed by it.
* StatusBuff: If her meter is filled, Liz's next aerial attack (except Down Air, which gains more damage) gains vastly more knockback.
*TechnicolorFire: Uses cyan flames as part of some of her
attacks.

!Bird Guy, the OC
!!Made by: Gourami
*ComebackMechanic: PlayedWith. Bird Guy deals more damage if his percentage is ahead of the opponent's, while he deals less damage if he has more percent than the opponents.
*FloatingPlatform: His eggs can serve as this if Neutral Special is used, just spawning one or stopping any eggs in flight.
*MakeMeWannaShout: Screeches for his Side Tilt and Up Strongs.
*MovesetClone: Of Archen. Justified, as Bird Guy was primarily made as an alternative to Archen that did not infringe on copyright.
*NonstandardCharacterDesign: More like nonstandard vehicle design. The car he appears in his entrance is more realistic than the normally pixellated art of the game.
*Projeggtile: Replaces Archen's rock attacks with using eggs in the same manner. That means that in addition to being a projectile, the eggs can serve as platforms.

!Hime, the Isolated Huntress
!!Made by: TheSlugger
* ABoyAndHisX AGirlAndHerX: A girl and her snake.
* AntiAir: Her Up Strong fits this quite well as she fires a fast-moving arrow straight upwards.
* AssistCharacter: Orochi, the snake in her backpack, pitches in for a couple attacks.
* BadassNormal: Seems to have little in the way of supernatural abilities, only relying on her own weapons to fight. She can still hold up to other characters.
* BowAndSwordInAccord: While she uses a bow to attack foes from a distance, she also uses a hunting knife and axe to fight up close.
* GrapplingHookPistol: Uses her bow this way in her Up Special.
* TheStraightAndArrowPath: Uses a bow in both her specials and Up Strong.
* TokenHuman: A human character in a WorldOfFunnyAnimals.
* TrickArrow: Her Side Special has her use a StickyBomb arrow and a rope arrow for her Up Special.
* SnakesAreSinister: Averted with her snake, Orochi.
* StatusBuff: Her Down Special gives a damage buff to her arrows, either the next charged one or two uncharged ones.
* StickyBomb: An arrow version that she fires for her Side Special, attaching a bomb to opponents that goes off after a delay.

!Epinel, the Inertial Breaker
!!Made by: Mawral
* Combos: Epinel is very combo-focused, as he has several grapple moves and cancels, as well as very floaty physics.
* DishingOutDirt: Minor example, but he does use earth in his grounded down special, which has him dig up a platform made of rock, which he can then potentially break to send its components at enemies.
* FlashStep: Epinel does one of his side special, whose distance is dependent on its charge. It goes diagonally downwards if used in the air.
* FloatingPlatform: His main gimmick, he can dig up to around five platforms that he can freely reposition by using grounded down special whilst on them.
* GrappleMove: Many of his moves involve grabbing, such as Dash Attack, Back Air, and aerial Down Special.
* GravityMaster: Not exactly, but Epinel's main power is control over inertia or momentum. Hitting the sweet spot of some attacks or using Up Special will cause enemies to briefly ignore gravity and keep moving in the direction they're going, and he can make floating platforms.
* PowerFloats: Epinel is very floaty, and actually floats for his dash animation.
* TakingYouWithMe: Aerial Down Special can be used this way, but it is safer to use it to slam enemies into Epinel's platforms or the ground.
* WolverineClaws: Primarily attacks with his claws.
* WrestlerInAllOfUs: Performs a suplex if he grabs someone with his dash attack, and slams foes into the ground if he lands aerial down special.

!Astra, the Nova Visionary
!!Made by: WishDream
* CardsOfPower: Seemingly uses cards to channel her magic attacks.
* ChargedAttack: Her Side Special with the Sun card has to be charged up, but if it is charged, Astra can fire a powerful sun projectile.
* FrickinLaserBeams: Fires a diagonal laser for her comet card's side special, which is somewhat short ranged but the fastest of her side special options.
* AnIcePerson: Her comet card, which focuses on multi-hitting moves with good combo potential.
* MindOverMatter: Her Nebula Card Side Special shoots a projectile that forcibly levitates enemies in the direction Astra is facing.
* MechanicallyUnusualFighter: Effectively has three sets of specials depending on what card she has equipped, which can be swapped between at a whim.
* PowerOfTheSun: The aptly-named Sun card. It focuses on directly offensive abilities that lack in speed.
* ProjectileSpell: Her Side Specials are all projectiles with varying effects.
* SpaceMaster: Uses space-derived attacks, invoking the power of things like comets or stars.
* StanceSystem: Downplayed, she has three cards she can swap between that change up her specials.
* TrapMaster: She can have up to three different card traps active at a time, which can each be remotely detonated.
* UnrealisticBlackHole: Her Nebula card has this motif, focusing on moves that alter the positioning of enemies.
* YouWillNotEvadeMe: Her Nebula Trap creates what amounts to a black hole, sucking foes into its position.

!Olympia, the Amythyst Fist
!!Made by: SpriteStar
*Expy: Takes cues from the likes of Ryu in her moveset in terms of design philosophy.
*GemstoneAssault: Uses a large crystal to control the stage or pummels enemies with her jewel-encrusted fists.
*GlacierWaif: She's not that much bigger compared to other fighters, but is a MightyGlacier. Must be the gauntlets.
*MightyGlacier: She's rather slow and heavy, but she has great power and burst movement to overcome this weakness.
*PowerCrystal: Her Neutral Special's crystal has this vibe, as Olympia can jump to it to move around, have it create a bright flash that stuns enemies, or just explode.
*Shotoclone: Subverted. While she has a projectile, it only serves to summon her crystal, her uppercut attack is actually a RollingAttack, and she uses a Shoryuken to dash forwards instead of go high in the air.
*StanceSystem: Downplayed. Down Special has her assume a stance with several different options for follow-up attacks.
*RollingAttack: Her Up Special is one, it deals repeated hits to carry foes upwards before ending with one final kick.

!Pomme, the Superstar Songstress
!!Made by: RubyNights
*AssistCharacter: Summons a bodyguard for her side special, who will attempt to grab opponents.
*Expy: Takes several cues from Peach in her moveset, including sharing her hover gimmick and having a similar down aerial.
*KickChick: Many of her attacks involve kicks.
*MakeMeWannaShout: Her Forward Air and Strongs have this vibe, with Pomme attacking with a powerful sound wave.
*MicDrop: Her taunt. It can actually deal damage to opponents if they're close enough.
*MusicalAssassin: Sings at a special frequency, both to move around and attack.
*MusicIsEigthNotes: Her music attacks are generally represented as Eigth Notes. She even throws a music note as a projectile in her Neutral Special.
*PowerFloats: Just like Peach in VideoGame/SuperSmashBros, she can float while in the air.
*PracticalTaunt: Her taunt can deal a small amount of damage to opponents.

*BoxingBattler: She's a boxer.
*CloseRangedCombatant: She lacks stage control and her only projectile is rather short-ranged, but makes up for it with good speed and combo potential.

A rioter from the timeline that Clairen left. Notable as one of the first complex characters on the workshop.
*BatterUp: Uses a bat with nails in it for their down special, which can be a substitute for a traditional strong.
*BigBulkyBomb: One of the available bomb types. It takes a long time to explode, but its explosion is very powerful.
*BlindedByTheLight: One of their bomb types is a flashbang, which stuns enemies.
*FatalFireworks: Their firecrackers are an available weapon, causing multiple explosions in quick succession which can be good for juggling enemies.
*FlareGun: Uses one in their side special, causing an explosion a far distance away. It isn't that strong, but can be useful for detonating their bombs from a distance.
*MadBomber: They're quite angry, and are fond of throwing bomb.
*MechanicallyUnusualFighter: Instead of having traditional strong attacks, his strongs will have him throw a bomb in a particular direction. This bomb's effects are dependent on what is picked from Neutral Special.
*MothMenace: He's an anthropomorphic moth.
