Zayne is Maive's eldest grandchild, Louie's older brother, and the future head of the Amethyne family. He is introduced during Maive's 4 heart event and works as a Ferngill Republic ambassador. As such, he is often away and occasionally stays in the village to visit his family. He becomes romanceable after making a specific choice during his eight-heart event, or if it happens first, making a particular choice during Irene's 8 heart event.

* MoneyToThrowAway: In her 4 heart event after receving an envelope from her family with 2000 gold, she gives it to the Farmer, saying that she doesn't need it.

* MysteriousPast: Not much is known about her past before she met her husband, or more importantly, what was the reason they had to leave. In her 8 heart event she reveals her story to the Farmer: [[spoiler:She was a mermaid who fell in love with a human sailor, but her family greatly disapproved this, so she ran away and found a wizard who turned her into human in exchange for some treasures, then she and Kimpoi got married and had Alissa shortly after, but it turned out the transformation spell wasn't permanent, so they went to Mr. Aguar who devised a spell that would make her a human permanently but it required the blessing from her family, after a lot of negotiations, they agreed on the condition that she and her husband would perform certain tasks on their behalf on the surface for several years.]]

* OutdoorsyGirl: She loves to spend time outdoors fishing and playing with her friends. Her working attire also reflects her fondness for the outdoors.

* GrowlingGut: In her 2 heart event her stomach growls after she worked all day on a new fashion design idea and [[ForgetsToEat forgot to eat]] and buy groceries.

* ArtificialLimbs: One dialog line from Olga implies that she is using some sort of prosthetic legs.

* BoyfriendBlockingDad: He feels he missed out on Corine's childhood, so he is very protective of his daughter, during the Flower Dance he says he'll scare away any boy who approaches her.

* GlamourFailure: [[spoiler:In her 8 heart event she wanders into Ridge Falls, there the magical mist shows her as a mermaid to the Farmer, Raeriyala then appears and explains that the magic of the place reveals the true selves to the eyes of others.]]

* MalignedMixedMarriage: [[spoiler:It's revealed that her family greatly disapproved she falling in love with a human, and accused her of "betraying her kind".]]

* DisabledLoveInterest: Part of his character arc is him dealing with his injury and subsequent disability, so he becomes this if the Farmer romances him.
