Billy's beloved pet, who has been with them for a very long time.

* {{Determinator}}: When he was first given to Billy after [[spoiler: the death of their mother]] they were too deep in their depression to even notice him and mostly ignored him. That didn't deter him in the slightest; Giro kept pushing Billy and trying to cheer them up and was eventually rewarded when his persistence finally pulled them out of their funk.
* {{Foreshadowing}}: Like every other party member, Giro's character page in Billy's diary has a sticker of his evil version, which a first-time player might find weird since Giro joins the party on his own terms and was never affected by the Leviathan's curse. [[spoiler:Shadow Billy ends up being the one turning Giro into his evil self, in an attempt to get Billy to hate them.]]

A living steamboat who ferries Billy through the World of Imagination's oceans.

* LivingShip: She's a living steamboat with big, cartoony eyes.
* MamaBear: Like all of Billy's [=NPC=] friends, she can be called upon in the final battle against the Leviathan. If she is, she won't hesitate to call him out for his horrible treatment of Billy.
* TeamMom: She's always caring and kind toward her passengers, making sure they're comfortable by creating specialized habitats for them and encouraging them to tackle their problems head-on while offering support for when they do.
* VerbalTic: Friend-Ship has a tendency to toot her horn at the end of each sentence.

[[folder: The Shopkeeper]]
An anthropomorphic peacock merchant, whose shop the "Shopstravaganza" seems to have stores everyhwere in the World of Imagination. Greedy and sleazy, but his wares are of good quality.

* BaitAndSwitch: When encountered in Sunken Harbor, he claims he's there for altrusitic reasons. After all, there are many miserable people in Sunken Harbor - and the miserable are notoriously easy to swindle money out of.
* EveryoneCallsHimBarkeep: He's the Shopkeeper. He probably has an actual name, but Billy either doesn't know it or is uninterested in learning it.
* IntrepidMerchant: Whether in the scary, hostile Dinolands or the deepest depths of Sunken Harbor, you'll eventually come across this guy and he'll be all too happy to take your money.
* WellDoneSonGuy: Implied. Billy notes in their diary that his father was also a shopkeep and a very succesful one at that. The Shopkeeper himself never mentions this, but seems pretty eager to keep the business afloat.

A handyman in Star Harbor and one of Billy's best friends.

* HiddenDepths: Apart from being a skilled craftsman he's apparently also a very talented designer and tailor.
* PungeonMaster: He constantly makes scissor-based puns. Billy isn't a fan.
* PunnyName: His name is one letter off from "scissor" which is the tool his entire design is based around.

A shy citizen of Star Harbor.

* RedOniBlueOni: She's a lot more laid-back and shy than Scissow.

* AllLovingHero: Billy's compassion for others is their greatest strength. Through it, they're able to relate to the people suffering from the Leviathan's curse andf figure out ways to give them their colors back. [[spoiler: Their empathy extends to even ''the Leviathan himself'', though they do need a peptalk from Mother Prisma to try.]]
* AntagonisticOffspring: [[spoiler: Since the Leviathan is the World of Imagination's counterpart to Billy's father, Billy's quest to save the world from the Leviathan's curse is really a metaphor for them gathering enough courage to finally stand up to their dad.]]

* MissingMom: [[spoiler: Their mother died in an accident. Billy slowly learnt to cope with living without her, but their father is a different story...]]

* GreenEyedMonster: He's initially jealous of Gyro's and Billy's close bond (even though he sorta denies it when Friend-Ship points it out) and gets testy about not being able to communicate with Billy silently like Gyro appears to do. He gets over it eventually, after Friend-Ship tells him that Gyro was the one to bring Billy back from a DespairEventHorizon in the past and acknowledges that he doesn't need to compete with Gyro because they both care deeply about Billy.
