* VillainWantsMercy: Tries to plead for his life once Nerve is killed and the Creeps no longer have any obligation to protect him. It doesn't work.

* AuthorityEqualsAsskicking: He's the leader of the Creeps, and makes for one tough boss fight. [[LightningBruiser Fast, hard hitting]], and armed only with a katana, he can be a serious hindrance to expert players and an actual nightmare to more inexperienced ones. His {{Death From Above}} attack doesen't help matters.

* BornInTheWrongCentury: HER describes him this way, calling him a samurai past his era.

* InformedDeformity: The character description says they are conjoined twins, but the dialogue portrait shows them having completely separate bodies at least down to mid-thigh. Then again, much of their bodies appear artificial, and they may have been separated at some point.

* SlummingIt: His profile mentions that with all his resources he could easily live in a big house in a nice district of Rengkok. According to the man himself, it's because he'd miss the action on the street, but HER guesses that it's to better overhear information directly.

* LightningBruiser: While he is capable of wielding long-ranged weapons, the protagonist's main tool is his incredible mobility and deadliness in close combat. His Pipe (and later, Nerve sword) is capable of killing most mooks in 1-2 strikes, he can [[FlashStep blink]] around like a maniac, ignoring damage and getting up close and personal in a matter of moments. [[LimitBreak Overload]] ramps protagonists's speed and brutality even further, [[UpToEleven doubling the speed and damage you deal with anything you hold]]. If upgraded, it also gives you infinite Dash charges and increases the damage you deal depending on your combo counter. With it active, player can clean a room in one fell swoop with nothing but a melee weapon.

* AceCustom: RUINER gun, a modified version of a SQUID pistol. It's described as a faster and lighter version of SQUID, with the same level of deadliness. It's implied that the protagonist had killed the previous owner and [[RobbingTheDead took the gun for himself]]. And he is lethal with it.
* AnimalMotif: Hackers refer to him as their lapdog one way or another. WIZARD at first by calling himself your master and calling you a dog on a leash later and HER calling you Puppy.
* ArtificialLimbs: Has a cybernetic left arm which he uses for most of his abilities.
* BadassBiker: Uses a black, streamlined motorcycle as a means of transportation, and is badass enough to take head on the single most powerful corporation in the world.
* BigBrotherInstinct: Subverted, his quest to save his little brother [[spoiler: is part of a security program, he is in fact the little brother, a Third Child, who doubles as organ farm and assassin for his older brother. He takes his revenge when he realizes that.]]

* CoolHelmet: Not only does it add a fair bit of mystery to him, but is also a full-face LCD display. [[spoiler:It also lets the Big Dog [[SeeingThroughAnothersEyes see his rampage in the first person.]]]]

* ExpressiveMask: His mask is also a full-face LCD display, which he uses to display his thoughts and feelings [[TheVoiceless rather than saying them out loud]].
* TheFaceless: As stated throughout his character folder, his face is constantly hidden behind a mask that projects digitally what he's thinking.
* FashionableAsymmetry: Wears one fingerless glove on his right arm and has the left sleeve of his jacket rolled up.

* PipePain: Always has a Metal Pipe for a backup weapon.

* WellDoneSonGuy: HER says Nerve is controlling them via fear and twisted fatherly affection, as being Third Children they never had parental figure to stick to before.
