* BodyHorror: Her first form is one of the most grotesque demon in the series, having [[GagPenis Mara's]] main body with multiple limbs attached to it and Maki's face on her abdomen.

* ButterflyOfDeathAndRebirth: In more ways than one. During the boss fight, she starts as a caterpillar and metamorphoses into a butterfly.

* FanDisservice: She presents a pair of breasts in her first form.

* WhoWantsToLiveForever: Not wanting to age and lose her beauty, Yukiko killed herself.

* TarotMotifs: In contrast to Naoya's Emperor, Kazuya is the Reversed Emperor- being weak-willed, misleading and manipulative. Since his introduction, Kazuya has played with other people's emotion (such as pretending to be Naoya) but at the same time, is weak willed as despite being more powerful than Naoya, all it takes for Aki to demoralize him is to reveal her treachery. [[spoiler:This makes sense as "Kazuya" is actually Naoya's Shadow Self, representing all of his insecurities.]]

* TarotMotifs: In contrast to Naoya's Emperor, Kazuya is the Reversed Emperor- being weak-willed, misleading and with corruptive intention.

* BigBad: Of the first game. [[spoiler:Though ''Eternal Punishment'' reveals that he is actually a pawn to Nyarlathotep.]]

* MercifulInDeath: After his defeat by Mark, urges him to carry on and that he'll warn others in the afterlife to stay clear of his friend's power.

Kandori's right-hand man who carries out SEBEC's illegal operations, though is regarded as incompetent by his boss due to the security breach of SEBEC at the hands of heroes. He serves as the first boss of the game. He's a Persona-user as well that fights with an unnamed Humanoid persona and four agents.

* WeHardlyKnewYe: Not only does he disappears after his boss battle, his Persona's name remains unknown to this day.

A character exclusive to the drama adaptation. Originally, he was part of Mark's dance team known as the Tailors. However, his growing resentment of Mark caused him to leave and strike out with a new team. During the events of the SEBEC incident, he awoke to his Persona, but his lack of control turned him into a vengeful monster where he rampaged in the subway, attacking his old teammates, before being put down.

* NoNameGiven: Not Bernie himself, but his Persona isn't named. Though given the fight's location is the subway, its implied the Persona is Yog Sothoth Jr, with it being an adaptation of the fight.
