* MotiveDecay: In PKNE. [[spoiler: His original plans would have caused millions of deaths but were still conceived as ultimately helpful to Earth in the long run. After one failure too many he has grown so hateful against humanity, whom he perceives as ungrateful towards his genius, that he's become a key player in the Evronian resugence.]]

This eventually results in Paperinik [[spoiler:''knocking him out cold'' thanks to his suit having been supercharged with gigawatts of energy and channeling all of that in a single attack]].

* NoPlansNoPrototypeNoBackup: Everett Ducklair created him specifically to [[AvertedTrope avert]] this. Unfortunately, he didn't realize TropesAreNotBad.

** He's apparently back to sanity upon reappearing in ''New Era'', enough to even work for the Time Police again. * TortureMakesYouEvil: After [[spoiler:Korinna tortured him and tried to use him as [[PoweredByAForsakenChild a living battery for Ultima]]]], Moldrock not only goes back from his near HeelFaceTurn in "The Mark of Moldrock", but loses some of his restraints, adopting her plan to use Ultima to take over the universe and [[spoiler:abandoning the Horde in the Pentadimensional World]].

* WorfHadTheFlu: The only reason Paperinik has a very small chance against him: Moldrock's powers are reduced almost to nothing in the Pentadimensional World, [[spoiler:when he returns in "The Mark of Moldrock" he has not fully recovered yet]], and [[spoiler:he's been tortured for weeks and had his powers heavily drained when they fight again in "Event Horizon"]].

* GodSaveUsFromTheQueen: [[spoiler: Became the new queen of Corona after coming back home, and according to Everett she's far worse than Moldrock]].
