* AwesomeButImpractical: Wumpo has the best Transporting skill in the game at 4, and would thus be the best transporter in a base... in theory. In practice, due to having a number of other skills, Wumpo will often become distracted with logging trees or crafting, diminishing its use as a transporter. It's also rather slow compared to Helzephyr or Vanwyrm (Cryst), both of which can be made to focus solely on Transporting.

* SecretArt: Muscle Slam, a sideway tackle with their body that knocks the enemy back, smaller enemies are sent flying.

!#086b: Broncherry Aqua / Supuradon (スプラドン)
----
* UndergroundMonkey: A blue, Water-elemental variant of Broncherry. Bonus points for the Broncherry Aqua field boss actually being found underground.

[[folder:Petallia]]
!#087: Petallia / Furarina (フラリーナ)
----
* HoldingHands: While the player character uses the same petting animation for Petallia as every other Pal, Petallia will respond by raising its hands up to yours, giving the impression of you holding its hands instead of petting it.
* TheMedic: Petallia can heal the player with its Partner Skill.
* PlantPerson: A Grass-element plant Pal whose body shape resembles a human girl.
* {{Transflormation}}: Petallia supposedly becomes a non-sentient plant at the end of its life, which every ten years produces a flower that blooms into a new Petallia to start the cycle anew.

[[folder:Mammorest]]
!#090: Mammorest / Guranmoss (グランモス)
----
* BeefGate: There is nothing stopping you from fighting Mammorest encountered in early areas, including the boss Mammorest in the Plateau of Beginnings... aside from the fact that they're found at ''Level 30+'' and will crush you in short order if you try.
* DishingOutDirt: They are capable of using Ground moves and their signature move, [[ShockwaveStomp Earth Impact]] is Ground-type rather than Grass.
* DuelToTheDeath: Sometimes, two Mammorest can spawn hostile to each other and will keep attacking each other until one dies. The player should keep a wide berth from this fight, as their Grass Tornado and Earth Impact deal powerful, wide-area collateral damage.
* GentleGiant: Mammorests are huge, especially the Alpha, but they will not attack you unless you strike first. On the other hand, you can rarely find two Mammorest fighting to the death in the wild, often with detrimental effects to everything around them.
* GreenThumb: A grass type that is also capable of planting seeds.
* HonorableElephant: They have been highly appreciated historically for their unique vegetation on their back to the point that some people have specialized on pruning them.
* {{Planimal}}: It's a mammoth that's also part forest. Furthermore, Mammorest Meat is basically both meat and vegetables at the same time.
* ShockwaveStomp: Their SecretArt Earth Impact has them slamming down on the ground with their front legs, creating a powerful tremor.
* WarElephants: They can be ridden and can be easily turned into these.
* UtilityPartyMember: They can be used to mine and to cut down trees and can get better at it when ridden.

[[folder:Wumpo]]
!#091: Wumpo / Hieti (ヒエティ)

* {{Expy}}: They appear to be a cross between [[https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Tangrowth_(Pokémon) Tangrowth]] and cut Pokémon [[https://bogleech.com/pokemon/pbeta237wolfman Wolfman and Warwolf]].
* ItemCaddy: They increase a player's max carrying capacity by a huge 120 by being in the team, the highest in the game. They also have the best Transporting skill at 4, making them good at transporting resources.
* PrehensileHair: The entire Pal appears to be made out of sentient hair. When researchers tried to shave off all the hair of one, there wasn't anything beneath and all that was left was just hair.
* UtilityPartyMember: they have the best Transporting skill at 4, making them excellent for porting items around the base. Furthermore, once its skill is unlocked, having a Wumpo in the team will also increase the player's carrying capacity by a huge 120 (and even more if condensed).

[[folder:Warsect]]
!#092: Warsect / Guracles (グラクレス)

[[folder:Quivern]]
!#095: Quivern / Feskii (フェスキー)
----
* AndCallHimGeorge: Quivern seemingly have no objections to sleeping cuddled up to a tamer, and it's generally a pleasant experience... unless the Quivern rolls over and crushes you.
* CuddleBug: When awake, cuddling a Quivern is said to be a ''heavenly'' experience, but some humans were known to be crushed and ''[[OffscreenAfterlife sent to heaven]]'' accidentally by their Quiverns tossing and turning in their sleep. Bonus points it looks [[OurAngelsAreDifferent like an animal angel]].
* DelightfulDragon: A huge, fluffy, angelic dragon Pal that is adorably friendly when caught.
* PowerUpMount: Can be used as a flying steed. While its speed is only slightly above average and slower than the earlier Helzephyr, it compensates with better stamina.

[[folder:Blazamut]]

[[folder:Helzephyr]]

[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/helzephyr.png]]
[[caption-width-right:300:''[[FeatheredFiend Wings of Death]]'']]
Big, nocturnal birds of prey with bright glowing features. Helzephyr is rumored to have ties to hell itself, summoning deadly infernal lightning and supposedly condemning the souls of its victims.
----
* AirborneMook: They're flight-capable Pals that are also aggressive and will attack you on sight, spawning readily at night in the middle of the map.
* BioluminescenceIsCool: Their markings glow brightly at night, making Helzephyr visible from a mile away and giving them a striking appearance.
* CastingAShadow: Pure Dark-elemental, and they fly only at night. When used as a mount, they add Dark damage to the player's attacks.
* {{Expy}}: It's a giant Dark-elemental bird-like Pal with heavy association to death and the afterlife, all traits pointing to Yveltal as inspiration.
* FakeUltimateMook: They're found at rather high levels for the areas where they spawn, look positively frightening, come with a relatively unique battle theme when engaged, and tend to have two fairly powerful skills... on paper. In practice, they're unable to hit the player with Dark Burst while they're standing on the ground, and their Flare Storm attack moves slowly and is easy to dodge, so they're not nearly as threatening as they look.
* FeatheredFiend: These birds are feared as creatures from hell itself, and while that's not necessarily literal, they do have the aggressiveness and dark powers to back it up.
* MagikarpPower: An unusual case - while Helzephyr can be caught at a decent level and have good stats, they have an extremely bad case of HitboxDissonance with the skills they have at that level which makes them nearly unable to do damage (because of its model's shape and flying movement, it's almost incapable of hitting ground-based enemies with Dark Burst, and Flare Storm is both inaccurate and has inconsistent damage output). It takes Skill Fruit or some leveling to let them use their stats effectively, or waiting to unlock the function to use them as a mount.
* PlayingWithFire: Despite their appearance and Paldeck entry suggesting an Electric affinity, their hellish traits instead manifest more in the form of them learning a handful of Fire skills.
* PowerUpMount: Can be used as a flying mount that adds Dark damage to the player's attacks while ridden. It's also one of the faster flying mounts, outspeeding even some later options.
* TechnicolorFire: The plume on their head resembles a bright pink and blue flame, and given their natural access to Fire skills, may actually be one.
* UtilityPartyMember: Their only working proficiency is Transporting level 3, which means that they can focus solely on transporting without being distracted by other tasks. Since they are NocturnalMooks, it also means they can do this all day and night.
* YourSoulIsMine: They can often drop Medium Pal Souls, lending some credence to their reputation for casting the souls of its victims into hell.

[[folder:Menasting]]
!#099: Menasting / Deathtiny (デスティング)
A ghostly Dark/Ground scorpion Pal whose body is entirely hollow. It devours prey whole and traps them inside itself, and screams can often be heard emitting from inside it as the prey is absorbed.
----
* BewareMyStingerTail: Its tail is tipped with a deadly blade larger than a man's torso. [[MundaneUtility It's also a fantastic tool for mining and logging.]]
* CruelAndUnusualDeath: Menasting doesn't eat in the traditional sense; it traps its prey inside its body, and slowly absorbs them, presumably disintegrating them entirely over time, and the prey is ''alive and conscious'' throughout this process as evidenced by the [[HellIsThatNoise horrific screaming emanating from inside Menasting's body.]]
* EnergyBeings: They're composed of pure energy.
* ItemCaddy: While it's your active Pal, its Partner Skill causes Electric Pals to drop more items.
* NothingIsScarier: It's never explained what exactly happens to Menasting's prey after being ingested, given that they're EnergyBeings and all. The one thing that's for sure is that it's an agonizing way to die, given that the victim screams ''a lot''.
* PunnyName: "Menacing"/"menace" and "sting". One look at the thing, or even just the gigantic blade on its tail, should justify the name.
* ScaryScorpions: If regular scorpions weren't frightening enough, these are ''giant ghost scorpions''.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Anubis]]
!#100: Anubis (アヌビス)
----
* CrosshairAware: Their SecretArt Spinning Roundhouse always has its area of effect marked by a glowing outline before executing the kick, even when owned by the player.
* DarkIsNotEvil: It has a decently intimidating appearance, is strongly associated with death, and has an aggressive attitude, but in truth it acts as guardian for wherever it calls home, and despite the death-based reputation better represents its original status as a sign of nobility and idol for the downtrodden.
* DiscOneNuke: Anubis is remarkably easy to get by breeding as soon as you unlock the Breeding Farm due to it being obtainable through several pairings of relatively common early-game Pals[[note]]Relaxaurus and Celaray, Vanwyrm and Cinnamoth, and Incineram and Surfent, just to name a few[[/note]]. Not only does Anubis have ''powerful'' stats that can carry you to the endgame, it also has the best Handiwork skill in the game at 4, and a Mining skill of 3.
* {{Expy}}: While largely based directly on Anubis from Egyptian mythology, its animations and moveset draw strong inspiration from Lucario, which itself is also based on Anubis.
* FlashStep: Anubis is able to perform this with its "Guardian of the Desert" ability to dodge attacks, [[DodgeTheBullet including bullets]].
* ProductionThrowback: To ''Craftopia's'' Anubis. Both are involved with upgrading stats though items (Anubis himself in ''Craftopia'', and the Statues of Power with Anubis' image in ''Palworld''.
* SecretArt: Notably has two exclusive skills: Spinning Roundhouse, a Ground-elemental RoundhouseKick that deals heavy damage around Anubis, and Forceful Charge, another Ground skill that has Anubis charging at enemies while wreathed in energy.
* UtilityPartyMember: While they do have great combat stats, Anubis also has the benefit of being the best option for manual labor given how quickly they can craft and mine.
