* GlassCannon: Blazehowl has decent Attack and learns some powerful Fire skills to bring the pain, but its paltry 80 base Defense and enormous hitbox mean that it folds rather quickly when opponents start fighting back.

* StoneWall: While its Attack is definitely not low, Warsect's Defense and HP are considerably better, especially when taking into account its Hard Skin passive. Its Partner Skill also improves the player's resilience, making Warsect useful when tanking damage is more of a concern than dishing it out.

* LivingLava: Certain parts of Blazamut's body appear to be composed of solidified lava, and it is said to have been born from a volcanic eruption. Despite being pure Fire-elemental, it also learns Stone Blast and Rock Lance to reflect its status as a lava creature.
* PrimalStance: Blazamut primarily gets around on all fours, and even while standing, it leans forward slightly to rest on its long, bulky arms, though it is capable of limited bipedal activity. Because of its posture (and rock around its hands), Blazamut has no Handiwork capability.

* MightyGlacier: As you'd expect from a dragon covered head to toe in heavy armor, Astegon has great Attack and Defense, backed by Hard Skin to make it tougher if caught in the wild, but is also a big, slow target.

* SecretArt: Notably has ''three'' exclusive skills: Spinning Roundhouse, a Ground-elemental RoundhouseKick that deals heavy damage around Anubis, Forceful Charge, another Ground skill that has Anubis charging at enemies while wreathed in energy, and Ground Smash, a Ground skill where Anubis leaps into the air then lands with a powerful punch that causes a wide-area, massive damage quake.

Because all three are fairly powerful and learned consecutively, it's not just possible but likely to have an Anubis using nothing but the species' exclusive skills.

Added DiffLines:

* UniqueEnemy: The only Anubis encounterable in the wild is the Alpha field boss, which is unusual for a non-Legendary, non-variant Pal.

* FluffyNotFat: Exaggerated; Wumpo's entire body is nothing but living hair. A researcher's attempt to shave one revealed nothing underneath and reduced it to a pile of lifeless hair.

* BadassAdorable: They're tall athletic rabbits whom are also fluffy and cute as a button.

* SuperSpeed: As a rideable Pal, it is very ''very'' fast with its dash attacks. Breeding one with skills like Swift, Runner, and Nimble will see it come up second only to Jetragon.

Added DiffLines:

* BadassAdorable: Out of all dragon pals, it's one of the more huggable ones out there with a mostly peaceful temperament whom also can crush those who least expect it.

Added DiffLines:

* GentleGiant: Non-Alpha Miniboss versions of Quivern are passive and quite a friendly bunch as long as you don't attack them.

* WrongLineOfWork: Though having a work suitability lv 3 in cooling, Cryolinx prefer to do lumbering trees instead. If you want to keep the cooler boxes/refrigerator running, a Foxcicle is way more suitable for the task.

This is no longer an issue if the player uses the Monitoring Stand to let it only perform Cooling.

* UtilityPartyMember: They have the best Transporting skill at lv 4, making them excellent for porting items around the base. Furthermore, once its skill is unlocked, having a Wumpo in the team will also increase the player's carrying capacity by a huge 120 (and even more if condensed). The problem is, they always [[AttentionDeficitOohShiny prioritize their other jobs]] first. You would be better off catching and tasking a Helzephyr with moving items around the base.

* CruelAndUnusualDeath: Menasting doesn't eat in the traditional sense; it traps its prey inside its body, and slowly absorbs them, presumably disintegrating them entirely over time, and the prey is ''alive and conscious'' for much of this process as evidenced by the [[HellIsThatNoise horrific screaming emanating from inside Menasting's body]].
